Great business location and very accessible to the downtown area while as quiet as a suburban location. The free breakfast was just that, free and an actual breakfast buffet, not left over donuts and cereal but different types of eggs, potato, meats and the lighter side also available and freshly prepared. I went back to Sioux City, IA for my 60th high school reunion and, to be fair, I wanted a smoking room and this was the only one that offered it and made my reservation late. Again, to be fair, the personnel were very courteous and accommodating . No elevator, no closet and finally found a bar to hang clothes on and was put in a room that was freezing […] but no way to change the temp (that was for maintenance). 2 full beds and, thankfully. decent pillow but had to put on socks and wrap my feet in my sweater to try and keep my feet warm. I was expecting company and the only saving grace is that they had a little table with 2 fairly comfortable chairs. They advertise a buffet breakfast starting at 6 AM but I didnt get there until 8. I can honestly say I have never in my many years had a dryer, inedible breakfast--Im presuming that whatever I had was the the same that had been put out at 6. My room was so far away from the lobby that I barely made it on my 6 mo. old new hip. I was also told by my Delta rep. that they had shuttle service from the airport but I got in at 8:44 PM--no shuttle which had been stopped at 6PM so had to call ahead to have a cab waiting which cost (with tip) $23.00 and had been told it would be $14.00. I had to leave on Sunday VERY early in the AM so ordered a cab to the airport. Had it not for a courteous guest who told me that the motel did, indeed, have a shuttle at that ridiculous hour. Couldnt the operator have told me that??!! Also, my message feature on my phone was blinking when I arrived, called the Operator and was told it was an old message from several days prior to my arrival. It didnt stop blinking from the day I arrived until the AM I left. To sum up: unless you are a devout smoker as I am and have a reasonable exit for ice or whatever desire a 3-4* motel as I do, DONT! go to this motel. Other than the personnel this is is a DUMP!! "Rodeway Inn in Sioux City"
Conveniently located to points in the tri-state area. Room was comfortable, but outdoor carpeting was dirty in spots. Also, guest laundry was unbearably hot. Hot breakfast was wonderful with good variety, including eggs, breakfast meat, toast,and cereal. Breakfast items were quickly replenished.

Rooms were good. Somewhat outdated, but overall a very good value. Excellent lounge and hot breakfast!

this place is creepy. there are huge windows from the hallway looking into your room so everyone can see what you are doing. the hallways are creepy and dark. alot of the lights dont work in the hallway. keep your map in hand because you are going to get lost in this mazed hotel. the pool is ok. but the hot tub only heats up to luke warm. the room […] is okay. the bed is super comfy. but its so hot and humid in the room. its also in a dead run down part of sioux city. i wouldnt venture out at night. by myself. this place needs some updating.
