Hotel was in a great position. The rooms look just like the pics show. They provide beach chairs etc for the beach. The only thing I wish they had was a mop or something to dry up the floor when u come in wet from the pool or beach and maybe more kitchen stuff like serving bowls etc. The room accommodated a family of 6 very good. This was by far the best stay I've had at the beach in the surrounding St.Pete/Treasure Island Area. The layout of the rooms was perfect for us- 2 decent sized bedrooms, full kitchen and dining area and the balcony and picnic area were perfect! This hotel is great. It is beautifully maintained. Anita at te check in desk was so friendly and very helpful with helping us find activities to do. It is the kind of place I will continue to visit. Make sure you get a snowcone from across the street. They were amazing :-)

The pictures of this hotel did not do it justice. We had just come from a similar type "apartment style" hotel in Kissimmee that was very disappointing. Upon entry of the room, we were amazed. It was extremely clean, everything appeared to be brand new. They supply you with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. They even give you tablets for the dishwasher! […] We were only scheduled to stay one night but ended staying two. The staff at the desk matched our rate we had booked from the Internet because it was going to be far more expensive otherwise. You can't beat the view of the ocean or get any closer to the beach. It is literally steps away from the pool area, which is very nice in its own right. We are from Michigan and the next time we visit Florida, we will definitely be staying at this resort. I've read people complain that this isn't a five star hotel, of course it's not, that's not what it's meant to be. It is a oceanfront converted condo and I can't imagine it getting much better than this unless you buy/rent your own. Thanks for a great stay! Read more

The grounds of condo complex were very well kept. All of the common areas and pool/spa were cleaned each morning. The 2 bedroom/2 bath condo was perfect for our family of 4. The Surf Beach Hotel was great. The place was very clean and spacious. assigned Parking was a nice option as well. Wasn't crazy about a 10:00 am check with no possibility for a later check out. Had a 7:00 pm flight out, wished we had more time to spend at the beach and get ready.

This hotel is far walk from the beach. The pool is very tiny. The sand is all shells. A newer condo hotel, very clean, but tiny rooms. We had two bedroom rental. Our kids were very bored.

This place is a gem of a find for us - great facility for a great price. We loved the size of the property - only 30 total units - which made for a much less hectic atmosphere at the pool, etc. Units are nice sizes - two bedrooms/two baths each - and nicely furnished with flat-screens, granite counter tops, and comfortable mattresses on the beds. Rooms […] are quiet as we had families below, beside and above us at some point during our stay and never experienced any noise. The staff was especially courteous and pleasant (though we never had any issues during our stay that needed to be addressed). The assigned parking is also a nice touch as it prevents the locals from poaching spaces. Can't say enough about the location of this place. Plenty of restaurants close by with excellent prices (special recognition for Britts's Pizza!). Also easy access to beach rentals (a must for us as we spend several hours per day at the beach). We like the size of the beach at Treasure Island and for a fun change of pace the beaches at Ft deSoto Park are a must-see. Very easy drive to reach from Atlanta and the beaches are far better than those along the Atlantic or Panhandle. This is our second trip to Treasure Island and first stay at Surf Beach. Loved that it was right on the beach... It had everything that we needed. It was myself my husband and 3 kids we had plenty of room. The view was beautiful. The only down falls we're after 5 there isn't anyone in the office so if u need something after 5 you have to call them at home or wait till morning. Our last night there the place was filling up […] and people were taking the wrong parking spots. Each unit has there own parking spot. Parking is limited. The only other complaint is there is only one elevator at times you had to wait a while. As you you can see the complaints are really insignificant. Although it had a great location, the aged furnishings (an old hide-a-bed) dining table (wicker bistro set with chairs so small, I could not get my butt between the arms-I am not THAT big!) and the bed became a hammock because it was so soft. The discomfort of the interior prompted us to find things to do in order to NOT be in […] the room unless absolutely necessary. Fortunately there were many things to do in the area and that made the Oasis Palm tolerable for two of our three planned and paid for nights. On the third day, I booked a really great (albeit way more costly) true resort-like condo at a nearby beach hotel. If a couple wants an inexpensive but close-to-the-beach room (1500 feet from the water, across the street and behind a view-blocking set of hotels) then the Oasis Palm Resort is what you are looking for. We were on the bottom floor. The sliding glass doors in both the master bedroom and the great room had broken locks so the doors could not be locked. We didn't feel secure because it was the bottom floor directly above the garage and anyone could easily climb from their vehicle onto the balcony and into the room. We bought dowels to put in the doors […] to secure the room. The rooms were quiet on the sides but very noisy above, you could hear a loud woosh everytime anyone above you flushed the toilet.
