Accomodations are wonderful. This is a hugh hotel with recreational areas (movies/bingo/arcade/bowling/arena/spa/pool/hot tub) The casino has everything several bars, restaurants from fine dining to buffet, deli and Seattle's Best Coffee. We love this Hotel and we have stayed many times now. The Service Staff is very helpful and courteous. It is right off the freeway and minutes to the strip and if you take the surface street it is a straight shot down to the strip so access to get places is very easy.

Spacious room with 2 Queens and large bath. Sink area is separate from shower/toilet which is convenient for family of 4. 5 miles from the Strip but well worth the good rate here. Parking is a bit hard to find but normal in Vegas. This hotel does NOT charge the ridiculous "resort fee" like most other hotels do. Will stay here again.

The ONLY minus I have about this hotel is that it is a bit of a drive from the main strip. However, if you can bear with the 10 mins drive (which is not really a big deal), then this is one of the best deals in Vegas. The rooms are relatively larger than most of the other standard rate rooms you will get along the strip and they are clean and still quite new (I believe this hotel was completed in '05 or so). I've stayed at this hotel several times since '07 and most recently in Dec. '09 and it remains in very clean and new condition. The bathrooms are nice and very comfortable beds. There is also a bowling alley there which has $1 games from midnight to the morning (I think on Sun-Thur). Even though the hotel is a bit off from the strip, it is right off the freeway exit, so you can always avoid the traffic on the strip by just going on the fwy back to the hotel.

the casino itself was a bit stuffy but once you got into an elevator out this hotel was quite remakable. the pillows were to die for! we hardly spent any time in room, but while we were in it we were surprised at how comfy and beautiful it was. we had a family gathering in henderson so that was a bit out of the way, so other than that this hotel was perfect for our long weekend in LV.

This hotel is about a mile off of the main strip, which we like alot .... not as much traffic or commotion. If you like all the thrills of Vegas, but not the noise and traffic, this is the perfect hotel.

This is our 3rd stay at the South Point Hotel. We go to Vegas every year at Thanksgiving for a softball tournament. Always a pleasure. One thing that could be improved upon is more choices for food. Such as a food court like some of the other hotels have on the premises. But great value for your money. Will definately stay there again.

We stayed here on a business trip to Las Vegas. It was conveniently located to our client. If you are looking for access to the Strip -- this is not the place for you. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is new and well maintained. We are not big gamblers so cannot comment on that but the place was hopping with customers. We received a discount coupon booklet on checking in and received some freebies. The buffet breakfast contained a large variety and was the food was as good as any buffet. We also had dinner in the Mexican restaurant and it was okay. Nothing to write home about. This place met our needs and the price was great.
