"Sales Pitch Very Pushy"

got a great rate with a upper room. room was ok but parking was limited. the required time share pitch was very uncomfortable and the sales staff was very pushy. Sometimes a great price deal isn't worth the hassles
"One of the best"

Four of us had a wonderful week at this resort. It is one of the best we have ever been to. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit as friends from Wisconsin joined us for a week of going to shows. The unit was great with enough separation between the two bedrooms for privacy. The second bedroom even had two sinks. The furnishings were up to Wyndham’s standards and the grounds were beautiful with the little stream running thru the place. The fitness center and indoor pool are downstairs in the recreation center. The only things that we could complain about was the computer connection and they need to establish a book exchange (get some used books). What really set this place apart were the amenities and the staff. From what I learned from different people Wyndham had “cleaned house” replacing the existing staff with younger people. I don’t know when they did this but it has definitely added to the resort. We checked in on a Sunday with tickets to only one show on Monday afternoon. We had a list of other shows we wanted to see, but hadn’t gotten tickets yet. We decided to get tickets for their Dinner Show Sampler on Monday night. It was $15 w/dinner (lasagna & spaghetti/meatballs) or $8 for just the show. What a show! The different acts started at 4:45 and kept going for 2 full hours. There must have been at least 10 different groups giving a sample of their shows. It helped us decide on an additional show and not go to another. On Wednesday night they had another Dinner with the Stars, this time BBQ. This was $18 w/dinner or $9 w/o. The group AYO/Voices of Glory did an hour show. This had been on our list to see so we got a sample of their talents (very good) so we went to a different one instead. On Saturday they did an Oktoberfest dinner that included 2 beers for the adults. It was fun. I think they change this activity during the year but the Monday & Wednesday nights are regular activities. During the week there was a full schedule of things to do for both the kids and adults. They even have an area for a local masseur to come in. Our female guest treated me to a combo special – ½ hour massage + ½ hour reflexology for $60. What a treat. The resort even has a shuttle running between this resort and their sister resort nearby where you go to buy some of the show tickets. This was really handy as it was drizzling that Monday morning. He even waited for us so he could drive us back. By the way, the resort’s prices for shows will either match or beat the prices you can get with the little coupons in the brochures you can pick up. It saves hours of going through them. You still have to turn in the vouchers for tickets at the box office, but you can do that at your leisure instead of running around town that first day. The woman who helped us made recommendations to save money, etc. She was so helpful! We would go back to this resort anytime we want to go to Branson.

Well...we went back. Took some different people this time...Everyone was blown away by the room we had ( 5 ladies and 2 teenage girls!!) We love the fact that we can stay in one place without falling over ourselves and just enjoy the company. Our view was a babbling brook and small waterfall with a walking bridge...This resort is conveniently located to all parts of Branson. The staff is so friendly they are almost like family!! I HIGHLY recommend this resort to anyone coming to Branson...you won't regret it!!!

The view of the spring out the front door with the waterfall by itself was amazing. The suite was incredible. There were televisions in 3 rooms (den, master bedroom and guest bedroom). There was a blue-ray player and 2 dvd players. There was a Jacuzzi. The kitchen was great. Everything that you could want in a resort. The bathrooms were spacious.

I would like to thank KC and Ian for sorting out some issues that we had. What could have been a negative experience turned out to exceed our expectation levels thanks to the wonderful staff at this resort. Nothing was too much trouble and they go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The fantastic staff on the front desk, Ian from England and KC all helped to make our stay memorable.WE have been to 39 states in the USA over the many years we have visited the USA from England and we have found that in Branson, especially the Wyndham at Mountain Vista that friendliness comes in abundance. We can say it is one of our friendliest resorts to date. The apartment was great and our only negative issue was sorted, I would however suggest that they put some type of curtains, window covering on the windows as you can see right into the bedrooms which other people pass on their way to their apartment, and also you can see into the rooms across the opposite building. This is a cosmetic issue which I am sure could be easily resolved. When in Branson we suggest Top of the Rock as a visit especially at sunset it is magical also Dogwood Canyon, a trip to Eureka Springs for great local art and craft items.WE loved it Thank you all for making our trip so special x
"They could be great if they wanted to"

We love staying here but the following problems hinder us from enjoying our stay. Not even 5 minutes after we get moved into our condo, the sales people start calling to setup a survey, sales presentation in disguise. They called us 10 times one evening. They woke us up on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM and called 7 more times in 2 hours before we left to go swimming in the pool that is not well kept up. We recommend just unplugging the phone and ignore their phoney attempts to leave a card in your key card slot to persuade you to call them. When we checked in to our condo, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and trash on the floor in one of the bedrooms. Things could be much better here but current resort management does not seem to care as this is ALWAYS the way of it here since we started staying here almost 10 years ago.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Mountain Vista Resort. My family stayed in the two bedroom, two bath condo, which was perfect for us since it was my husband, our 21 year old son and 16 year old daughter. The kids bedroom had two full sized beds, a LCD tv, a full bathroom attached with two sinks and a standup shower and they had a beautiful view of the mountains out their bedroom window. There was a lovely dining area with a large dining room table that could seat 6 and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need to cook a full meal. The living room had a sleeper sofa, coffee table and two chairs and a LCD tv and DVD player. The master bedroom had a king sized bed with a chair, LCD tv and DVD player and a beautiful large bathroom with two sinks, a jetted jacuzzi tub and a standup shower. The place was very clean and we felt very comfortable and at home there. We enjoyed use of both pools and hot tubs and the grounds were very beautiful with lovely landscaping and a little stream running through it. The main pool, which was at the activity center, was the larger of the two pools and provided nice towels and very comfortable lounge chairs and a young man went around handing out cold bottles of water to everyone. There was an outdoor grill area equipped with two gas grills, a small basketball court, (which my husband and son enjoyed) as well as shuffleboard, and in the activity center there was a game room equipped with pool tables, a ping pong table, foozball table, skee-ball and several other games as well as a game system and large screen LCD tv. You could check out dvd's from the activity center free of charge and they had a pretty nice selection. We rented several movies and had a family movie night one night. We requested a top floor, end unit, near the activity center and while we didn't get a end unit or very close to the activity center we did get a top floor unit and were grateful that we did because it was very quiet. There was a nice young man driving a golf cart to take you to and from the activity center. The kids enjoyed the game room, while my husband grilled steaks for dinner. Overall our visit was extremely nice and relaxing and we will definitely return.

stayed 1 week with family and friends. We had 2 2 bedrooms (2nd floor) that we thought were side by side, but that feature is not available in Branson. Sort of a downer, but it did not spoil our time there. Friday afternoon after checking in, there was grilled hamburgers and fixings by the pool. Staff very pleasant, and friendly, always available to assist in any way. The rooms were very clean, comfortable beds. The washer/dryer is located in the master bathroom. (hmmm) kitchen had a pantry for food items , but only one shelf (hmmm). Plenty of pool towels, more than enough by the pool. Wi-Fi for me was intermittent at times. The game room was fun: pool tables, Kinect games, skee ball maching, table tennis and air hockey. The 2 downers : (1)smoke alarm went off in the master bed room at 1:15 AM- imaging waking up to a loud alarm! Thank God it wasn't for real. Staff sent up a nice gift basket later that day for the inconvenience. (2) Loud, running, stomping children above us on 3rd floor. (I seriously thought the room was under construction, it was sooooo loud at times) We did take advantage of the discount tickets ($10 off) for a show downtown. Wednesday Ayo and the voices of Glory with BBQ dinner for $18 was good. (Ayo that is) I'm from Kansas City so I don't impress easily when it comes to BBQ. All in all , it was a great evening with family and friends. Branson has so much to offer, I definitely will be back.
"Could have stayed longer! Clean, comfortable and relaxing!"

3 families shared a 3 bedroom and a studio. Both units were well taken care of, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the Activity Centers nightly and pools every day. Relaxed in the spacious rooms and did not feel like we were all packed in. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are very spacious and full kitchens have everything you need. We truly enjoyed staying here and hope to visit other Wyndam spots as well. Employees were always accomodating and nice.
"Fully furnished, spacious 2 bdrm, clean, all ammenities and discounts to attractions."

We were given this as a gift for our anniversary. We felt guilty when we walked in to such a nice 2 bedroom location since our children weren't with us, but that guilt soon went away when we saw the jacuzzi bathtub. :o) We spent 3 nights at Mountain Vista as a couple. While many families were there for a summer vacation, we felt that we had adult time in the pool during certain hours that they were at theme parks. You off the the main strip of Branson, but halfway between all the attractions with all the back roads. I was most impressed with check-in. The staff was ready to get the keys in to our hands quickly. Also utilize the discounts available by staying with Wyndham. You will receive $5 or more discounts on tickets when you buy through them. The grounds are neatly kept. We grilled twice by the pool. The grills were clean and ready for use. Bring your own charcoal and grill tools. Pool area is not large but nice. It was neat to see a wheelchair user's family utilize the auto lists for both the hot tub and the pool. Love seeing the whole family active in the pool.
