I manage a hotel in CT. i was mortified to see that the bathroom of the room had had a water leak and the wall was never fixed. the shower had the tile at the verge of falling and the ceiling too. other than that it was an ok stay.

The hotel itself has been recently renovated. My guess is that it won't be in good condition for too long. Besides the fact that they ignore what guests are doing the dismay of other guests their service & maintenance appear to be non existent. There is no food to speak of. They have a small counter where you can get coffee, oatmeal, muffins or an egg […] sandwich before 10 am. The pool is not properly maintained, the gym is inadequate & when we returned to our room after 11 at night we found that housekeeping did not service the room. The hotel manager sent me an email asking to rate our stay which I responded to a couple of days ago. I have yet to hear anything. This hotel is truly beneath Marriott standards & I imagine an email to corporate is in order. Read more

My family and I had an AMAZING stay at the hotel. The staff was very nice and the room was clean we got a good night sleep in the comfy bed. Definetly staying here on our next trip to nj.

I put my family up in this hotel on the strength of the brand's reputation. They were appalled at how dirty and poorly maintained it was. This chain needs to take care of business, although I must say it is too late for me.

Hotel was great, really was. Not overly crowded, theres an outlet within walking distance. We ate at Panera Bread for breakfast every AM which was great, Also a TGIF we ate at for lunch/dinner. Food staff may need additional training. Cover of coffee paper cup did not fit properly causing leakages of coffee onto my shirt and table two times. Staff was informed and shown the spillage but did not return to help clean up table. Staff was asked to provide a glass for carton of milk and promised to do so but did not return with glass so I had to […] drink milk from the cardboard carton. Service of food was rather slow with a lengthy wait after order was placed even though not too many clients. I am a well seasoned elder adult traveler at 70 plus years of age so I have witnessed wide range of food service from excellent to very unsatisfactory. More training please! Read more

This hotel is currently in the process some major rennovation. I have every expectation that the results of this project will enhance the hotel. But until then, both the guests and the staff will have to endure the norma challenges associated with such a project.

Overall excellent. The only problem was that we had trouble adjusting the air conditioning in the room- it was too hot without it and too cold with it; the thermostat must have been off. We opened the window, and that solved the problem

HORRIBLE- management allowed drunken guests to hoot and holler until the wee hours of the AM because the wedding was held there. We called the front desk twice to complain that we couldn't sleep but nothing was done about it. NEVER AGAIN!

This hotel was nice the room was large and furniture properly placed (Bed was not on a shared wall but on the bathroom wall). This was our first trip to the NY area and we chose to stay here for two nights because of the location which was closed to friends that we wanted to see. We would stay here again if we were ever back in the area.
