My husband, two children, and I have never stayed at a Country Inn and Suites before and are now planning to use this chain in each vacation we plan. The staff was extremely helpful, especially the gentleman that checked us in. The complimentary breakfast was delicious...especially the strawberry waffles. We loved the indoor pool and how quiet everything was. The lobby was cozy and welcoming. It was just outside Chattanooga and close enough that we could be at Ruby Falls in minutes. We were very pleased with this hotel and recommend it to everyone.

The rooms were amazing and had plenty of space for my entire family. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and kept at a comfortable temperature. I simply cannot imagine a better experience at a hotel. I will definitely be recommending this one to my friends and will stay here next time I'm in town overnight.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff that I met was very nice. The breakfast buffet was also very good. There was only one sink in the bathroom and the drain was clogged. That was an obvious problem that should have been fixed. I was also surprised at the cost of the room considering the low occupancy during our stay.

It was a really nice hotel and the people were really friendly. It was clean and they even had a kitchen where you could heat up your food. The only bad thing is finding the hotel. Sure, you can see the hotel from the road, but it's extremely hard to get there at night. What you would need to do is turn into the road where the IHOP is. We got lost looking for a road to get there and finally realized you had to take the road into IHOP because it's directly in back of it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone just needing a NICE clean place to stay for the night.

We were expecting a stay in accordance with past experiences with other country Inn & Suites. We were very disappointed. We arrived at 3:20 pm, which was 20 minutes after their advertised check-in time. The lady at the desk was most off-putting - murmuring under her breath, cursing the computer, dressed very sloppily. She made the computer allow her to check up in to the room after accusing a co-worker of double-booking the room in question, and then she informed us that somehow our room hadn't been cleaned yet, and so we needed to take the keys she had just given us and leave for at least an hour before we could actually go to our room. We had plans which required us to change clothes - then - at check-in, before we went to our event. We were told to use the public restroom next to the meeting room to change. However, the meeting room was in use, and the public restrooms were full of the people from the meeting, which was obviously in a break of some sort. When we returned that night - after we went in our traveling clothes to our event - the room was oppressively hot and it took a long time to make the cooling system come on. It is so complicated that it has to have printed directions on the controls, and even then it will not take a change in its setting of more than 3 degrees at once, and it wouldn't let us adjust it more than once every 30 minutes. The hotel was not where we understood it was going to be, so we were further away from everywhere we needed to be than what we expected. The continental breakfast was most unappealing, with waffles that tasted so odd the kids wouldn't even eat them when they were covered in syrup. Needless to say, we will definitely not ever return to this hotel.

Positive features about this hotel inclide the following: room layout was fantastic for the queen suite, an excellent variety of restaurants and shopping in the immediate area, easy access to the highway and close proximity to Chattanooga, the staff was very helpful, the indoor pool was nice, pool towels available at the pool was a nice touch, central thermostat heat/air control available in our room (no window style heat/ac units), the complimentary continental breakfast was excellent in it's variety of choices and quality On the negative side: our room was on the second floor and the windows actually open like standard windows in any home and they were particularly easy to open. A major concern if you have young children. While pool towels were provided, they were the correct size for a small child. The indoor pool is not heated as might be expected nor are there any signs to reference the pool as not being heated. While the bed was seemingly of good quality, it was not as comfortable as I had hoped. If you have back problems as I do, you may also find yourself with some discomfort.

The breakfast had a nice selection, and the waffles were great. They even had high chairs available - surprising how many hotels don't. The only issue we had was similar to other reviews - it was hard to find. It's set back in a ways, so you really need to look for it behind the car wash. Now that we know where it is, we'd definitely stay there again.

The only negative things are that it is kind of hard to find because it is behind some other building, but we just called the front desk and they gave us good directions. The other thing was the main reason we chose the hotel which was the indoor heated pool. When we arrived we were informed that the heater was not working and the pool was freezing, we were very disappointed by this.

It is a little tough to find as it is behind some other buildings and you need to take an access road to get to the parking lot. The only really issue is that it is about 10-12 miles away from downtown and points of interest in Chattanooga. The price and quality of the room make up for that, though, and we would stay there again.
