The Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay. We had a very nice room with a computer desk a great chair and ottoman and king size bed. Everything was very clean and nice. Would definitely go there again.

Comfortable stay, good service and fine free breakfast. Toliet was stopped and hotel fully booked, so discount was offered. Seemed to have no maintenance person (in fact appeared as if the front desk clerk was the only staff - but she was very nice and tried her best.)

Check in was a little slow, seems like they had a lot going on. They did let us check in early, though. This is a very busy hotel since it is near a Marine base and graduations going on most weeks. They were very helpful when we were looking for a place to have dinner and then the next day gave us ideas on our travels north to Charleston. The waitress' were very friendly and personal. Our room was very spacious and very confortable. We nightly recommend this hotel.

It was just a hour away from the beaches so when we came in it was peaceful away from the crowd. stores are all around for convience pools were clean and relaxing. housekeeping come in and cleaned and left clean towels and all didn't have to ask for anything. Front desk was helpful for good places to shop and eat.

The Hotel needs to be redecorated. The air conditioner was vary loud and kept us awake all night. The road noise from the interstate also kept us awake. The employees were not friendly at all, and in some cases were rude.

Aside from the convenient location, not much good to say about our stay. We reserved a non smoking room, but got a smoking room. The air conditioner did not work, the carpet had nasty stains, phone didn't work, and the tub/shower also worked poorly.

For such a fleabag, this property was no bargain. The room itself was in poor condition, though the bed was comfortable and we did get a good night's rest. The commode took FOREVER to refill, which might have been problematic. We could not get the thermostat to cool the room sufficiently. The telephone did not work at all - all we got was a dial tone, […] and we had need to call both the front desk and to make a local call. Thank goodness for cell phones! There was a huge chunk of the facing on the front of the sink/vanity that was literally missing. Very tacky. All in all, we were quite disappointed. This could not be an easier stop off of I-95. There are plenty of food and refueling options in the immediate area. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.
