The hotel was very nice, and convenient to the Pittsburgh airport. The staff was helpful and friendly. One of the two elevators was out of service during our entire stay, and our toilet became plugged, which is why I rated them down on condition. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very friendly. The only bad things were one of two elevators broke down and they had no stairs. So it took forever to get down to lobby. Also you can here everything the people in the next room do. But this is out of staffs control so that's why I gave 4 stars. Staff was very friendly and went above for everything we asked. I would recommend it

Nice hotel convenient to airport. Bathroom needed work shower head sticking out of the wall loose and bath tub paint finish coming off inside the tub. A quality hotel would not allow this to happen.

Air conditioner was stuck on in my room and maitnance had to come fix it then second day the heat was stuck on and the room was miserably hot! The temps were very uncomfortable.. Was disappointed this hotel did not have a complementary breakfast either...

We caught a red eye flight into pittsburgh and arrived at the hotel at 6am. We did not have a room for the night prior because are other flight was cancelled. The hotel staff allowed us to wait in the lobby area and got us into the first that was cleaned. We were exhausted from all day and night of traveling but the hotel staff made for a excellent weekend.

Very nice hotel, located near the airport and not far from the city center. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the rooms were large. Our only complaint is that the beds are not overly comfortable. The staff was very polite and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was nice, the buffet was a good quality but not complimentary.

Jackson's Restaurant in the DoubleTree was the highlight of our stay. Both the bar and the dining room are excellent, and you can get both the bar and normal dining menus in either. Make sure you get June as your server. Terrific food. Excellent value on the wine.

One day my room was not cleaned up which was on Saturday. I did sleep in and had the do not disturb sign on the door and I did leave the room about 1 pm that Saturday

The Doubletree has clearly implemented and maintained high standards . The staff is friendly, courteous, helpful and just all around professional. I look for these hotels in all my travels. Always a pleasant greeting. There were 3 weddings going on at this hotel when I arrived. They were thoughtful in putting all regular guests on the 6th floor, in case the wedding guests acted like many do, loud and at all hours. I heard not one peep. Slept in comfort and peace. Love this hotel! Thank you to all who have a roll in bringing in the proper staff and maintaining excellence in all aspects of operations. It is truly appreciated.

It looks like they've refurbished an old hotel, but did an amazing job. Wasn't the exact "double tree feel" but it was pretty darn close! I will difinitely stay here on my next visit

The staff should be applauded for the efficient, professional and timely handling of a health issue one of the guests had on our hall. I awoke to a woman screaming in pain and by the time I got to the door, two hotel staff were rushing by and emergency services were being summoned. We were also impressed with the staff when our shuttle over to pick up our daughter at the airport had to be changed three times. The drivers were so patient and the front desk made us feel very comfortable.

Our room was so nasty. It was covered in hair that didn't belong to us. It was everywhere; from the sheets to the sink. Also, the bathroom smelled like mildew. The walls and apparantly ceilings were paper thin. We not only heard the footsteps of the people above and beside us but we heard them talking until 5am. Aside from that the staff was very nice and helpful and the location was very convienent for our purpose there.

Most of the hotel staff are so helpful and welcoming, but the managers need to come back to earth. The room was small the bathroom tiny, you could hardly turn around in it. The room had a overwhelming musty odor, it was like sleeping in an dorm shower.

My husband and I went for a fun weekend getaway and loved the hotel. After we got tot he room we noticed the floor was wet under the air conditonier and before we could even let them know the front desk lady ran up 5 fights of stairs to let us know we had to move to the next room over. The pool was nice not too cold or to warm. Parking was never an issue (even with the weddings all weekend), and our room was always nice and clean. I would love to stay there again. The staff was always nice and polite.

The location is super close to the airport and convenient for getting into the city to do things. There is plenty to eat and such nearby and parking for free is super nice and convenient. For the cost of the hotel I didn't find the service great. The front desk was polite but they were out of towels at the pool and, despite us calling to ask for some, they didn't deliver any. We had room service for breakfast one day and they were out of two things listed on the menu and forgot to bring some of what we ordered.

The staff was very helpful with registration and giving driving directions. They were friendly and gregarious. I enjoyed them immensely. The room however left some things to be desired. My non-smoking room smelled of mold and dampness and the air-conditioning could not be properly controlled. It however, was clean and functional. All in all the hotel was a satisfactory one.

This is a nice hotel. We did find some items in the room that showed the room was not thoroughly cleaned. Pillows were uncomfortable. But the service is great. Plus they will take you to the airport and bring you back to the hotel upon your return. They allow you to keep you car their for a small fee

My room was clean the bed was very comfortable and the service to the airport was good it runs 24 hrs and tbe pickup from the airport was fast . We have stayed at some pretty awful places around the airport over the years so I'm recommending this one ! Also the price was good and no charge to leave your vehicle

We drove in from Washington DC and my daughter wet her car seat. The lady at the front desk offered to wash and dry it in their commercial machines. They brought it back to our room when it was done. I can't convey what a relief her kindness was!

Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room was also very nice and comfortable, however there were a couple rather large stains on the carpet. Definitely airplane noise but that was to be expected. The pool and hot tub area was also nice and clean. Hot tub was good size for a hotel. The warm chocolate chip cookies upon check in was a nice surprise. Overall, I would stay again and recommend the hotel.

We had a nice stay and swimming. Very limited menu with high prices in the restaurant attached. The thermostat in our room was on 84 when we arrived and we put the air on 60 to cool it down. The lowest the room temp got was 76 so it was hard to sleep. Very warm in the hallways as well. Staff was very nice. Room was pretty clean.

I was visiting friends over Thanksgiving and got into the Doubletree at a good price. Hotel was conveniently located for me, clean, warm and the staff were helpful. I had a maintenance issue in my room and it was handled quickly. A few good restaurants located within easy walking distance if needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

First time staying at this DoubleTree and last. The bathroom and shower stall were extremely small. I could hardly move around in it. The box of tissues were very rough (definitely not Kleenex brand). Only two creamers were provided for the coffee. Our room was noisy from the heater. Disappointed.

Checked in Sat. and out on Tues. There was a wedding party on Sat. nite and you take it from there, even though we were on the 5th floor the guests next to us had teens and it was a nightmare. Top that off with our room being next to the elevator, probably because we got a room rate deal. Sun. and Mon. nite was quite.

Enjoyed my stay, from the shuttle drivers, front desk, restaurant staff were great to us. I was here on business trip, everyone welcomed me and front desk was very helpful.. I especially want to thank Michelle waitress that works in the morning at breakfast restaurant, she was so pleasant, and her service was exceptional.. Every morning she would greet us, ask us if we needed any help or questions about hotel & made us feel very welcome.. Again, thank you Michelle keep smiling! This was our first trip to Pittsburgh, PA, and my first time staying at Double Tree & will recommend to all my friends & clients. Thank You! Mrs. Astacio

Stayed here for five nights with my girlfriend for my friend's wedding in Moon. Received warm, fresh cookies when we checked in. The hotel bar and grill had great food and good drinks but it was little pricey. Rooms were VERY comfortable and the staff kept everything tidy. The location was great for us because we were there for a wedding just down the road but it was 30-45 minutes outside of Pittsburgh.

We stayed for a 4 day trip to see a comedy show and do some shopping. As we got to the hotel we went up to the desk to check in with our Hotels.com receipt showing THREE nights. On their side it was showing Two nights and argued the point of if we were sure it was for THIS hotel. Obviously it was..Called us in our room two hours later to apologize that it was their mistake. The warm cookies were a nice touch. The bathroom tub though..(we were in 302) was badly cracked and peeling. It looked horrible. The restaurant food (Jackson's) was alright, small portions for the price, not the best but what can you expect.
