Very convenient to the cent of the old district of Trapini. The room was very comfortable and clean. It had a nice kitchen and sofa . Sorry we were only staying one night.

The guest house was a good price and nice spacious room with air conditioning. But for such a small town, you could stay closer to the center or on the beach - the front desk had minimal hours and minimal information about tours. Nice little breakfast included. Nice overall but next I'll stay closer in.

We enjoyed our stay in Trapani at Le Chiave di San Francisco. Our room had a wonderful patio. The hotel is close to the harbor for excursions to the Egadi Islands and close to the old town city center. The staff were all friendly and helpful and most spoke English. We also were able to find parking in front of the hotel.

The renovations of the old building were very well done, managing to retain the typical flavor, very different from the hotel-standard type. We felt that for one night we were living in a nice Trapani apartment, like everyone else in Trapani, which is a small lovely town, by the sea. The personnel was very gracious.

We enjoyed our 3 day visit to the San Francisco Hotel in Trapani. Not only was the hotel nicely located in the old town close to the Harbor promenade, restaurants and hydrofoil to the islands but the staff were exceptionally helpful. When we first arrived and were show a room that was very dark, we spoke to Lucia at the front desk and we had an incredible […] room with view, fireplace, jacuzzi and private terrace overlooking the town and its churches. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The hotel is very close to the harbor and the main street of the old town. The staff only recommend one restaurant but there are many nice restaurants/pizzerias within five minutes walk.

We were quite surprised when we were given an apartment instead of a room. It was lovely furnished and we were impressed. Location is good as well and there are a few restaurants to choose from. Breakfast on the open terrace with a nice view. Too much sweets in the buffet breakfast.

This B&B/Aparthotel is in a great location in the old part of Trapani. We spent 7 nights here on B&B terms (we would have preferred to self cater but should have asked for this at the time we made our booking). The room was exceptionally clean and the service at the reception desk and during breakfast was first class (although breakfast itself was very […] uninspiring apart from the excellent coffee). We were only 2 or 3 minutes from most of the best restaurants that Trapani has to offer (e.g. Ai Lumi, Antichi Sapori and Serisso 47). We visited Castellamare del Golfo (bus), Erice (cable car!), Palermo (bus), Marsala and Mazzara del Vallo (both train). Erice has to be one of the most beautiful places you have ever seen. The old part of Trapani is very attractive as are the main boulevards of the new town but the rest of the town is fairly uninteresting (modern apartments etc.). All in all a great introduction for us to Sicily and we are already thinking about exploring other parts of the island next year. Read more

Convenient location but difficult to find due to lack of street names. We had a large room with kitchenette, though we had booked for bed and breakfast. We were fortunate to be able to park outside the hotel but parking was not reserved and could have been difficult if we had arrived later. Breakfast buffet on the fifth floor was good.

We ordered a superior room and were shown to a dark, ground floor, self-catering apartment with a separate entrance. The door/window, frosted and emblazoned with the hotel name, opened directly onto the street! Not at all as described or expected. Eventually we were given another room which, although not the superior room which we had paid in advance […] for, was a big improvement. Great location/hotel if you're looking for a authentic italian experience. Large rooms and fabulous terrace that you can use in the evening as well as breakfast. Wifi stopped working after the first day but no one seemed too bothered to fix it. We were below the terrace/breakfast room and it was pretty noisy early in the morning!

No one at reception when we arrived. We signed ourselves in after waiting 20 minutes and found our room,!!, They need to warn guests about the parking fines and issues, Our car was towed away !!!. Lovely big room and very clean. Lovely terrace above for breakfast. Breakfast very dry and not great quality.

We stayed in the 4th floor suite which had a lovely balcony. The room was quite spacious and very clean. It had a mini bar as well as a spacious bathroom. The location is excellent for visiting trapani and you are a five minute walk to the port with access to outlining islands such as Favignana. Enjoyed our stay in this individually styled hotel. Helpful staff who arranged transport from the airport upon arrival at a late hour. We were allocated the suite which we found comfortsble and well equipped. The only downside to the stay was the noise from the kitchen and lounge which are situated on the same floor as the suite. We chose Le Chiavi di San Francesco on the basis of other customer reviews and were not disappointed, you get apartment style facilities rather than just a hotel room and it is nice to have the additional space, with a kitchen area, sofa and table included in addition to bed and shower.

Hotellet er lille med fin beliggenhed tæt på havn. Tagterrasse perfekt til morgenmaden, der i øvrigt er god. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale der dog ikke alle er gode til engelsk. Største minus er en markant larm fra toiletsystemet i hvert fald på 1. sals værelser.
