I have previously stayed at this hotel a couple times but my last visit was horrible! I don't know if I just didn't remember how bad this hotel or it is just going downhill. Everything looked like it was falling apart, the room layout was so bad. The bathtub was so far off the ground that I had a very hard time getting in and out! The beds are fairly comfortable. The roome istays somewhat "cool".. I turned the heater(s) up all the way and the room was still cool enough you had to keep clothes on to keep warm. The Wi-Fi was bad!.... I was just on the third floor, (two floors directly above the main office, and was just barely getting a signal....and that was after going two floors […] down to finally get a connection. This was our second time staying at the inlet tower. The staff was very nice. Room was pretty clean. My favorite part was Starbucks expresso in the resturant. I was disappointed that there was no hair dryer or extra pillows and blanket. We will stay here again I will just bring by hair dryer next time.

For the price and location, this place is definitely doable. Ask for a corner room with awesome views. Older building and depending on the night, the bar may make for some louder guests but overall, the staff was helpful, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean!!

Front door not working no elevator to our floor we had to go to the floor above and walk down boiler out part of the night and staff barely willing to bring extra blankets overall cold and uncomfortable

service was poor and my room was cold because it had an AC sticking out the window allowing for the cold arctic draft to blow in. Unfortunately the two old heating systems hardly pumped out any heat so I had to get extra blankets to stay warm. It was rather disappointing.

Staff is nice, rooms are clean, No extra amenities or toilet paper. One room was made up the other room only one bed was made up. Guess they ran out of time. Not enough parking it was not organized, is this a hotel or apartment bldg?

Lots of problems with our stay -- look elsewhere for lodging in Anchorage. During our three day stay, maid service was "forgotten" each day. We found bits of dried on food & hair & dirt on the covers from the last people who stayed there. We called the front desk, they said someone would be right up, and an hour later we were still waiting. At this point I had been awake for over 24 hours straight and was tired of waiting. I called the desk again and was told that their workers were busy […] filling other people's requests. I did eventually get clean covers. Our toilet leaked, we told them 3 times, but they didn't fix it. The room was cramped, with only about 18" of space between the ends of the bed and the chest of drawers on the opposite wall. Even though it is supposed to be a 3 star hotel, there was no complimentary breakfast, and their "business center" consisted of a computer sitting on a small desk in their lobby next to a printer with no ink. The phone in our room was broken and we had to hold the pieces of it together when we wanted to use it.There were pipes in the wall near my bed, and every time someone in a floor above ours used the toilet or took a shower, it would make an awful noise of loud rushing water, it kept me awake all night. The heater did not work and the shower ran out of hot water only a couple minutes after I got in. This is the "special pricing" hotel where you pay the lower price for a room, but they don't tell you which hotel it is until you pay for it. The only good quality of our room there, was the fact that it had a tiny kitchenette area. I wish we would have gotten a room elsewhere. Read more

The hotel was very nice and the location was great. We were assigned a room on the 14th floor which provided us with amazing views of the city and mountains. However the heavy set older man at the front desk was very rude to us. It was ridiculous the attitude he had towards us and our kids who were not badly behaved. It also said on the hotels.com website […] that cats were ok with a 10$ deposit, and then at the front desk they told us they were not allowed. I had already paid for the room so we had to leave our cat in the car overnight. Called for extra pillows and desk staff told me that housekeeping had left for the day. The heat was turned off. Had to use a step stool to get into the tub because it was a Jacuzzi. It is an older hotel. It was clean and affordable.

Does not look like the pictures. Not clean. Stains all over the beds, and smelled like they used a ton of spray to cover up other smells. Had towels but no wash cloths.just would not stay there again. If we hadn't already paid, we would have left.

I liked the hotel except it had extremely poor internet service. If you have to use for business this is extremely important (more important to me than almost anything else). I had to leave the hotel twice and go to other places to send time sensitive emails. At 12:00 midnight, this was a great inconvenience.

The WORST staff I have EVER encountered. The hotel manager was absolutely OBNOXIOUS. I asked for maid service (or at least some coffee and towels) for two days and the manager was INCREDIBLY rude to me. We used this to get some sleep before heading to Denali Park. Beds were nice and the drivers very helpful picking us up promptly and returning us to the airport for a rental car. There is a local market a half block away.

The first room I was given had a leaky faucet in the bath, with a weird brown stain. I switched to another room, which was slightly better, although there were crumbs in the drawers and on the table and a strange red mark on the bathroom sink. We had a one day layover in Anchorage after our cruise and wanted something convenient to downtown. The condition of this hotel isn't up to par. Bathroom floor was pretty nasty, others in our party found mold behind the bathroom mirror. Stained bed linens were kind of scary. The lobby and elevator had a distinct smell of fish! We came in to Anchorage by bus and hotel wouldn't pick us up with the shuttle at the downtown convention center. Wanted us to go to the airport to be picked up. Made no sense since the convention center is 11 blocks from the hotel and the airport is probably 4 miles away.
