I needed a place to sleep, the price was right, and I was surprised and pleased by what I found....once the taxi driver found it!!!!!! Its tucked away on little sidestreet, but area was good, and Aerobus pickup stops to BCN airport just 4 blocks away at Plaza Catalunya, so I could get to airport next am for 6 euros. My husband and I stayed at the Pension Miami the week of Sept 18th for 3 days. We had some difficulty finding the hotel from the airport. We finally took a taxi to the location. But once there it is close to the Las Rambles, very clean and the staff was very helpful and kind.

Nice and not very expensive. Close to everything. Staff is very helpful. But tv does not have any useful channels on English. Need to call to turn on ac every time even when it is obviously hot.

Big Mistake and a rip off. Bad location and I almost got mugged from the surrounding area. Drunks are hanging outside of the area drinking and smoking. I will never go back.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the fact that the shower was in the middle of the room, not in the bathroom, was disappointing. I would call it a hostel not a hotel..if you are looking to stay cheap and not be in the hotel except for a few hours of sleep maybe this is an ok place but it is very hard to find , the people who work there are very nice but over all the hotel was a complete letdown.

The staff was very nice, but this hotel does not have much to offer in terms of comfort. My room seemed clean, but was very bare bones and the bed was hard as a rock. Water pressure was good though and water was hot. The location is good- it's less than a 5 minute walk to the Metro at Universitat. I have seen some bad reviews of this place but I can see both sides of the story... If you're looking for a place to use as a base for sightseeing, this place is fine. It's clean, the staff are friendly, it's 5 minutes from Plaza Catalunya and la Rambla, and there's a supermarket right opposite. However if you're after comfort and luxury, this place […] is not for you. It's very basic and could do with updating. Our main complaint was that there was only 1 plug socket in the room and it was in the bathroom, not ideal for charging phones etc. There was no safe in the room, although apparently there is a hotel safe you can use. There is wifi but it's pretty expensive (we found a bar across the street with free wifi instead). We were also a bit disturbed by the fact that there seemed to be a mirror on the ceiling which had been painted over, and another the full length of the bed, making us wonder what this place had been used for in the past, but that's beside the point! Would I go back? Probably not. But you get what you pay for. We were only there for 2 nights and got very cheap rates, so as we literally used it as a place to shower and sleep, it was ok. Read more

I was really discouraged with our stay and would not recommend it for families. The Pension is extremely difficult to find, even with a map nearby shop keepers could not find it or direct us to it. Although the access to the subway and Las Ramblas is great from this location, it is not the best neighborhood. The noise from the people who camp on the […] street carried on outside our window until 5:30am every night. The bathroom only had bathtub and the room temperature is controlled at the front desk, a inconvenience when the phone in the room did not work and the lift was temperamental. I booked a double room and was given a very tiny room with two twin beds and no room to manuever. The staff was great and the room was clean. The walls are quite thin and you hear every noise outside the hostel and even in the next room over. The Pension Miami does exactly what it says on the tin. No frills...in fact no anything bar your room. The room and bathroom were both clean and tidy to an excellent standard and fresh towels provided daily. The desk is manned 24hrs but the service you receive depends on which one of these hours you choose to come in at! Air conditioning was present […] in our first room but not the second (we moved as the window in first room looked out onto a brick wall). It took 3 sleepless nights to fix the air con but was brilliant after. There really is nothing else in the Pension, although it does have wireless or internet accessible computer. In El Raval the Pension is right on the edge of the Barri Gotic region and Las Ramblas. It is a great location for doing anything from Tourist attractions, partying, beach-ing etc. The actual 'street' the Pension is on is not well known as it is more of an alleyway. Frequented by local drunks and other unsavoury characters. However, the Pension door is always locked and it is a hop skip and a jump from the main street. Also close by is a 24hr convenience store,brilliant for bottled, cold water before bed as the hotel has no way of storing any food or drink. All in all a decent price for a simple stay. Read more

Отель очень удобно расположен. Место отеля уединенное и недалеко от Рамблы и площади Каталуния. Отдельное спасибо персоналу отеля. Очень приветливые, доброжелательные, внимательные. А номер? Для "переночевать" очень неплохо, возможно есть номера побольше, нам достался, видимо, самый маленький, но все было очень чисто. Спасибо.

Sehr zentral, aber wirklich nur für Leute die nicht oft duschen gehen, da die Dusche uralt ist und sehr sehr klein, außerdem kam leider nur eiskaltes Wasser. Schön das ein "BD" vorhanden ist, aber die Toilette steht im Bad so ungünstig, sodass ein normales Sitzen darauf völlig unmöglich ist, da die Knie dann an der davor stehenden Wand anschlagen würden. spartanskt inrett vandrarhem, fanns en säng och det var allt. rummen uppfattades som rena men väldigt lyhörda. läget är lite av på en bakgata men ändå väldigt nära centrum. dock fanns en del uteliggare och narkomaner i omnejd vilket kunde uppfattas som hotande på kvällar och nätter. men med tanke på priset så var detta hotell helt ok.

フロントの方が、どの方も親切で愛想も良く感じが良かったです。ホテル自体は古い感じで部屋も質素でしたが、ちゃんと掃除してありこざっぱりしてました。ただ、部屋が６階（最上階）だったのですが、エレベーターは５階までだったのでスーツケースを階段で上げるのが大変でした。

Hotell Miami er et hotell med SVÆRT enkel standard. Bodde her da jeg ikke fikk rom noe annet sted i byen i forbindelse med en større messe. Her får du en ren seng og et svært enkelt innredet rom som er preget av slitasje og null ekstra utstyr. Betjeningen var et lyspunkt, veldig hyggelige og sjarmerende, men ikke så proft som på et stort hotell. Hotellet […] ligger svært sentralt i gangavstand til det meste. Men den lille veistumpen man må spasere til fra de større gatene har et noe rufsete preg på kveldstid. Som kvinne som bodde der alene tok jeg derfor taxi til døren på kveldstid, men spaserte overalt på dagtid. Hotellet er langt fra luxus, men ok til prisen. Meget små værelser. Pænt rengjorte værelser. Super servicemindet receptionspersonale. Ældgammelt fjernsyn uden fjernbetjening. Nabolaget var ikke specielt hyggelig. Mange bumser lige udenfor hotellet. Larm fra gaden om natten. Men det ligger fint i nærheden af centrum.
