Quiet and comfortable, price was right. Nice touches like individual reading lights on the headboard, charging station for peripherals. Beds were comforable, blanket thin. Soap was provided; shampoo and conditoner were not. There was a hair dryer. Breakfast is all carbs-muffins, cereal, waffle maker, cofffee.

It was lovely, but too short. The motel was comfortable, close and convenient. It isn't fancy and frilly, nor is it dumpy. It is nice and convenient to Bedford, if that is where your business is. And, the staff (a mom and pop operation) are nice, friendly, helpful and appreciate their customers.

I prefer an old-fashioned motel like this, with car parked outside the room. The room was quite adequate and the location was very good. We were able to take a morning walk along picturesque New England streets. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending a good Italian restaurant for dinner.

Unfortunately, I reserved 2 days at this motel starting the next day and could not cancel it after my first conversation with the manager featured rude behavior by him. He asserted that the bus stop nearest to the motel was not the one that Google Maps identified and said I was taking too much of his time. After examining the MBTA (Boston-centered mass […] transit) map for the route AND taking the bus twice, I know the Google map directions were correct and the manager was wrong. The toilet leaked from the bottom. The manager claimed all rooms were taken and would not give me another room within 4 hours of when I called him at 615 am to report this. A colleague and I stayed 4 nights at the Bedford Motel while attending a conference in a nearby town. The room was adequate. The hotel is dated and the carpet could use a good cleaning (or replacement.) Everything worked and the tile in the bathroom (while older) was cool in a retro sort of way. The staff were friendly. The only ice machine is on the […] office and as our room was on the opposite end of the parking lot it was inconvenient to get to during the rain that fell for the first two days. The beds were fine, though I always travel with an air mattress, so I can't speak to their comfort for ordinary travelers. The price was great and it is close to several stores (including Whole Foods and Starbucks!) Would stay there again if I didn't need hotel amenities like a business center. The wifi reached the far end where we were, but was pretty weak, so keep that in mind if that is an issue. I was using a tablet, so not sure if the ethernet worked or would have been better. Stayed here 2 nights and loved it. Picked the cheapest option on Expedia, so I had low expectations to begin with, but this place turned out better than I thought. This is definitely one of the better motels I've stayed in. It's 30mins drive from downtown Boston, at half or third the price of a city hotel. The room was perfectly clean and the bathroom […] looked hygienic as well, no complaints. The bed was surprisingly comfortable--I expected a cheap spring mattress, whereas it had a plush soft high-end mattress. There's a microwave in the room as well--so you can save on eating out. The area was very quiet and peaceful, no disturbance whatsoever. The check-in, check-out process was very smooth, and the lady at the reception was very kind and friendly. Although breakfast was not included in the package, she asked us to drop by in the morning if we wanted coffee and some light snacks. Bedford is a charming little town and a great place to stay for a budget traveler. Of course a low-end motel might have occasional hiccups (I never experienced any), but the staff seemed nice enough to fix any problems. Bringing your own toiletries at a motel is common sense--do that. People who are complaining about ambiance need to understand that when you book a cheap motel, the only thing you should reasonably expect is cleanliness, safety, and comfort. Everything else is a bonus. This place had all three and a couple of bonus things too. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. Read more

They advertise internet access...but it is so slow as to be next to worthless. Had to go to a nearby McDonalds in order to read my emails.
