Founded in 1348 by Charles IV and redeveloped in the 19th century, the New Town originally played host to Prague’s craftsmen and tradesfolk. Many of the city’s cultural and civic institutions are here, including the National Theatre, the State Opera ,and the New Town Hall. The most famous landmark is Wenceslas Square, home of the Velvet Revolution in 1989.

The hotel staff are helpful and responsive, and the rooms are clean and fairly good size for Prague. Very convenient to Metro station. Breakfast is good. I'm not a fan of Wenceslas square. It's very touristy and pretty tacky and high-priced.

Tne hotel is very modern but different the staff were great could not do enough for you and always very friendly. The rooms were very clean with plenty of room. The bar area was very relaxing with staff always on hand to serve you it had a very chilled atmosphere which made for a great weekend. The food was also very nice with plenty of choice and enjoyed the breakfast was very varied but nice something for everyone. The hotel is situated in a quiet location but only 10 minutes away from the Old Town and the other attractions which there are many. I could not fault the hotel in anyway and would recommend to all.

What can I say? I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and none of them live up to how luxurious Hotel Yasmin is. Not only is the hotel full of little luxuries, but the staff are still friendly, which I have always found a rare quality in slightly classier hotels. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough and the decor - quite simply amazing! If you're going to visit Prague, then you'd be hard pushed to better this hotel.

Location was perfect, 2mins walk from the square and 5 from the old town. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the noodle bar was fantastic! We're already planning to go back! Highly recommend this hotel, perfect in every way.

We arrived in Prague, but our luggage did not. The hotel staff was wonderful, and accomodating. They gave us convience items until our luggage arrived. They handled everything on finding our bags from the airline. They were very helpful with every need we might of had. The room are large. The bathrooms are wonderful. Breakfast had great variety, and was plentyful. This is a great place. I just wish the beds were a little more comfortable. A+

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Yasmin. Great location - everything is within walking distance so no need to use trams or taxis. The staff are friendly and helpful and rooms cleaned daily. Great choice of food for breakfast but didn't get chance to eat an evening meal there. Only downside for my party was that there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms and there isn't really anywhere to chill out and have a drink or coffee unless you went in to the restaurant area....but would go back again if I returned to Prague.

Probably more a business hotel, this so called 'designer'hotel's room are well thought out and very comfortable and it is ideally located. The atmosphere in the foyer and restaurant and bar is spartan - lots of tiles, mirrors, chrome and light wood - not a place to linger. The food in the restaurant is quite good. the hotel's main colour is a yellow shade of green - really a matter of individual taste but not to the taste of this reviewer

Prague is a beautiful historic and hectic city, so it is nice to retreat to a modern cool oasis like Yasmin Hotel. It is a hidden gem - located just a stonethrow from Wensceslas Square. You wouldn't think you were at such a central location as it is so calm and quiet. It has a gorgeous backyard that serves lovely drinks and tasty noodles at very reasonable prices. The hotel itself is very modern with trendy decor and clean and functional rooms. The staff are very helpful. I have no doubt I'm going back to Prague and the Yasmin Hotel!
