Microtel Aransas Pass - Aransas Pass 27.90084, -97.14355

This was an excellent value, clean (with the exception of towels that should be retired)and in a nice quiet area. The full breakfast is GREAT! Additionally, the owners and staff were kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend and choose this place again.

The Hotel room was very comfortable and cozy. I strongly recommend it to anyone and I will use it next time Im in town

Room was nice, comfortable and clean. The tub would not drain and we let the front office know and they took care of it quickly. For the price I would definatly stay again. Very convinent to stores and the fairy boat to Port Aransas

The room was a little small.....but had NO plans of staying in it all weekend.......for the price and on a weekend with short notice..it was AWESOME!

Very nice hotel and room very clean. We enjoyed the mirrors in our room next to the head board of the bed. Room had a refrigerator in the room, excellent for left overs. The one problem is... the walls were too thin, so you can hear the people next door and they can hear my girlfriend and I.....well you get the idea.

Employees do not seem to all understand how hotels.com works. I received three different answers from three different people on the same question. Please make sure you are talking to the manager, as he is the ONLY one who knows what is going on.....

We stayed one night for a quick fishing trip - could not believe the quality of the rooms for the low price we paid, exceeded our expectations! Plus, breakfast in the morning as well - great value!

Carpets in rooms, halls, and breakfast area stained, chairs in breakfast area/lobby stained - hotel just looks dirty - no soap or hot water in mens bathroom in lobby - hotel is non smoking but we had to change rooms because our room stunk - website and marquee stated hot breakfast but no hot breakfast either morning we were there - hotel staff some of the laziest I have ever seen - no explanation for the lack of hot breakfast - sat in office and played Solitaire - wouldn't even get up off chair in office to talk to guests at front desk, they just spoke to guests through office door - took no responsiblity for any problems/complaints guests had (and there were many) just stated that managers were on vacation and they knew nothing. You need to send your team to personally review this hotel!! On a lighter note - the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable with crisp clean sheets - but this was the hotels only plus.

The room was clean. The hotel advertised a complete breakfast with eggs, waffles, fruit, etc. There were no eggs on the Wednesday we were there. Waffles were great! Hotel staff helpful.

I have stayed in 5 star and 1 star hotels. This is not top of the line but it is the best you can get for 60% of the cost of hotels that are not nearly as clean. Great value, Clean, helpful, and perfect location.

We had an amazing experience! The hotel was rennovated and clean with an amazing little pool that we had all to ourselves. The breakfast buffet was great, and the front desk was very helpful. Would recommend it to anyone! Best of all less than ten minutes away from port aransas and a ferry experience.

I stayed at this hotel because of the overwhelmingly positive online reviews. I was not disappointed. This is a great room for the money. Candidly, the rooms are not huge, and mine did not have a couch or seating area, but if you're looking for a good deal, you're flexible on room size and cleanliness is important to you, this hotel is highly recommended. The complimentary breakfast was also good-- during the rush, just be prepared to stand in line if you want to make a waffle. But, I got downstairs a little early and had no wait.

If you are looking for a clean comfortable place to stay, this is a bargain. The room is small but we were just looking for a comfortable place to sleep not a place to hang out.

Very clean and confortable place to stay. Super friendly hotel personnel. Parking lot well lighted and secure. I will definately stay there each time I go to Aransas Pass.

I think the room is great for the price we paid, its in a good location the rooms are clean and the breakfast was great. The manager was not very helpful when our car was broken into in the parking lot. This was the worse part of my whole trip. While making the police report he was not very cooperative. I had a couple problems with the surrounding area the people were awful. The room itself was great but the overall experience wasnt.

Two women traveling alone, was a great hotel. Clean rooms,quiet surroundings,near attractions that we were in town for. Front desk helpful and friendly. On the day of check out, we were asked repeatedly if we were checking out? Suspect house cleaning was on a tight schedule, and we were holding them up? We checked out at 12:08pm. Would definitly recommend to family and friends.

Microtel Arkansas Pass is good hotel and staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good. Only problem that I had was wireless internet connection. my room was at the end of the corridor and wireless signal was very weak.

Quality of hotel exceeded my expectations.

This is the second time we stayed at the Microtel in three years now for our summer vacation trip to spend some time at the beach and at the bay fishing. The rooms are small but very nice and clean. The breakfast is great!! Make your own waffles with eggs, sausage, muffins, cereal, juice, and coffee. The place is great to take your small family at an affordable rate.

Our stay should have been 4 nights, only stayed 1. Got a call that my father had a stroke and had to leave, the hotel staff agreed to refund my money and told us to take our time checking out. It was close to check out time when we got the call. The rooms are nice, a bit small but overall ok. Thanks to hotels.com for the refunds on both reservations and great customer service.

My husband is very picky. He wants a clean room and good value. That sums up the hotel. We took advantage of its close location to the free ferry and went into Port Aransas. From there it isn't even too far to go to North Padre beach and Mustang Island.

I would definately stay there again.

grate place to stay for the money,went for family weekend,was not in the rooms alot had what we need.the kids and grandkids love the pool and hot tub.had herd it did not have them but dose and was nice.staff was very friendly.

Other than needing a few more towel in the room,(which after we asked for we recived)the stay was great. New Pool and Hottub great. Would recommend to all in Aranas Pass!!!!!!!

I know we got a "discount" rate for the room but I've seen closets with bigger rooms than what we received. It was clean and the people were friendly. I think they got their name "Micr" from the size of the rooms.

I found this small hotel to be very comfortable and clean with a great breakfast. The rooms were small, but had everything that you needed, and the shower was great !

Expected a normal sparse continental breakfast but was surprised to find scrambled eggs, refried beans, bacon, sausage, waffle iron with ready made waffle mixture with the host of continental breakfast items. Would have like to had sugarless syrup so I could have had the waffle or pancake. A heads-up salute to the curved shower curtain rod preventing backing into a cold curtain. Bed was soft like our own bed for a good night's sleep. Disappointed there was no small refrigerator.

The hotel was about 5 miles from the beach. The neighborhood was ok. I felt safe though. Very clean and great price. Id stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel very late but they were very nice. Their computer was down the two days that we were there so when we wanted to stay an extra day they didn't know if there was an available room. Also we had paid on Hotels.com and then they charged us again saying we didn't pay that when we booked it it only reserved it. So now we are in the process of having them take that charge off. Make sure you don't pay again when you get there. The rooms were clean and no complaints. Since it was Memorial Weekend I was worried it would be noisy and crowded. It was crowded but not noisy. The breakfast is good but you MUST go early as they run out of items. We saw bisquits but never saw any gravy. The potato egg scramble we got one morning and never saw it again. The hotel is very convenient to the ferry that goes across to Port Aransas, so we were happy about that. We would stay there again for sure.

Overall a good hotel. The only complaint is that there was hair on the floor of the bathroom and in the bathtub so they need to clean the bathrooms better.

I was very disappointed because when I called in to make my reservation they told me that the hotel had a pool and when we got their it did not. If I had not already paid for my room for two days I would had cancel. Can you vacation with a hotel without a swimming pool????

Aside from the hotel giving us a standard room instead of a suite which was what we booked online, it was a pleasant stay and very clean. The only negative comment is the surrounding area is a little run down but looks as if it may be on the rebound.

We loved the location, it didn't take much to get to our favorite fishing locations.

great hotel for the price. beds were stiff but, the size of the rooms and location was fantastic. Nice cold room coffee maker, etc. great will come back.

The room was a bit dirty - the TV had a thick layer of dust on it, and the bathtub had a red paint stain in it, which made it look like somebody had slaughtered a pig in it and they did not clean it completely. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly

The hotel room was clean and spacious enough for us. Our son loved the window bed. The breakfast was plentiful. Wyatt checked us in and was great. He assisted with directions to the hotel when we needed them and suggested a wonderful restaurant to us for dinner. There was no issue with noise at all. We'd stay again.

Hotel stairways and hall ways need cleaning

Bath room needed painting and show signs of alot of use. Bed wasn't very comfortable, very lumpy and sagged. Guest computer in lobby wasn't working, management didn't seem to care if it was fixed or not. Wasn't what I was expecting. I have stayed @ microtel in pass years, but quality has slipped.

This was our first stay at a Microtel, but it certainly won't be our last. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the entire facility. One thing that drives me nuts in most hotels is hearing the water running in the pipes every time another guest flushes the toilet or takes a shower. We heard NO sounds of water running, or any other sound of other guests. We didn't even hear any street noise. A very comfortable, restful night for us.
