I used this hotel as a stopover twice in two weeks while traveling to eastern Indonesia. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were well maintained. The price is very reasonable for the value received. The meals in the hotel were overpriced by Indonesian standards but directly across the street is a huge modern 3 story mall that had a dozen reasonably priced restaurants to choose from. The only negative is the distance from the Jakarta Intl airport. In light traffic (if there is such a thing in Jakarta) the trip takes 30-40 minutes. In heavy traffic, it takes 60-90 minutes. If you are not in a hurry, then this is a very nice hotel. I recommend the hotel's private airport transfer service - it's safer and more reliable than the local taxis and about the same price. One other thought - I had a suite on the second floor on my second visit. Great room but the noise from the live music on the first floor was very loud in the room. It stopped around 10 PM. If you need to sleep after long flights, consider a room on a higher floor.

The Dharmawangsa is in a relatively convenient location if you are doing business in downtown Jakarta, a city with legendary traffic jams. It is an older hotel but immaculately cared for. It had a VERY large bedroom and bathroom, which was nice. Perhaps for reasons of privacy, the hotel is not clearly marked. Our taxi driver had to stop and ask directions several times.

We stayed on the Premier floor, so I presume the room was a bit larger than on other floors. It had a huge desk and a chaise. Premier Lounge for breakfast... was great. Not too many people and the food had a decent assortment. The hotel is connected to a mall, but the shopping quality was very subpar. Better to take a cab to other shopping malls. Location is in north Jakarta, but that was good for us because it was between the old town (Batavia) and the city center, which were our two main destinations for our 1-day visit. The room was good size, but hot, AC wasn't working perfectly. There was some odd loudy trembling noice and it did stop after 11pm, it was very disturbing, atleast for me. The pool was quite clean and very big size. Overall quite nice hotel. And only 30 min from airport.

This hotel is not bad for business trip. Location is good, near airport. Traffic jam is serious in Jakarta. It is very important at the day I checked out for on-time flight check-in. Hotel provided free Wifi. But it is nothing when I used in the room, signal was very weak. It turned better if I used in outside the room or lobby.

朝11時頃にホテルに到着。だいぶ早い時間だったがチェックインでき、部屋を使用できたのが良かった。のんびり体を休められた。ホテル入口にはセキュリティーがいるし、エレベーターから宿泊フロアへ行くときにも、ルームキーがなければ入れないようになっており、安心できる。 2人部屋なのに、なぜかスリッパやバスローブ、歯ブラシなどが1人分しかなかった・・・。タオルや水は2人分あったのに・・・ナゾだ・・・？部屋は広く、清潔で、快適にすごせた。TVはNHKが見れた。バスタブがなく、シャワーだけの部屋だったのだが、シャワールームにカーテンがなく、ガラスで半分仕切っただけ。バシャバシャとシャワーを使うと、トイレまでびしょびしょになる・・・カーテンつけてほしい・・・。レストランは利用しなかったが、５０Mはあり […] そうなプールがよかった。広いので、のんびり泳げる。ショッピングモールに隣接しているので、買い物などでヒマつぶしができる。スーパーのカルフールも入っているので、水などに困らない。空港までタクシーで２０～３０分、10万ルピー位だった。トランジットで１泊だけしかしなかったが、目だって悪いところも無く、次回も利用したいと思えるホテルであった。 Read more
