"Beautiful hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 18, 2013
Stayed for a family mini vacation. Beautiful hotel, nice staff, delicious breakfast, and even a pool. Only complaint was that the hot tub didn't work so it was just a mini pool

Very clean, breakfast was very average. Quiet, good locations, very mice management.
"excellent choice!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 6, 2013
My little doggie and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We had a king sized comfy bed with awesome pillows and slept like babies. I enjoy taking trips with my furry friend and when the hotel is as nice as this one, it makes it that much more enjoyable.
"Great Value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 3, 2013
It's an older building, but the place is super clean and management is extremely pleasant and accommodating.

"Campground with utilities."
Slightly above pitching a tent. Premises located in rundown area of Huntington, IN., so you get what you pay for. Let's face it, as a former Huntington resident, it's Huntington.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overnight stay."
I had a hard time opening the room door. I am a big tall guy and I had to put my shoulder to the door to get it to open. The room was old and musty smelling. The carpet needed to be vacumed. There where only 2 small towels for us to use. The pillows were small and flat. The bed was large but old and noisy. "Thought the place was abandoned!"
First off, the door did not work. I had to kick the door to get it to open. When its 2 degrees and your hands are full I would rather not be locked out because of bad door. Room was somewhat cleaned until I got the only one of 3 lights to work. Then I could see. The shower was horrible. more water leaked out at the threads than came out of the shower […] head. "you get what you pay for"
You get what you pay for. It is older and run down. Its pretty clean but just looks old and grimy. The showers are built for people that are about 5'4" . Prepare for a long wait at the desk to check in and no information about wifi or breakfast or anything. Again you get what you pay for. Not terrible but i should have paid a little bit more for the […] super 8. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Visiting family"
The room was alright. It was clean but the heater was very loud. The parking lot was covered with ice and snow. There were only two towels for showering. The office staff was very friendly. Would stay there again but not after it snows.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Huntington Inn Experience"
I suppose the bottom line is that you get what you pay for. The pillows were so flat it was horrible. There were no extra to use. The mattress on one side of our bed had springs that poked my husband. The carpet was worn and stained. There were no kleenexes to be had. The recliner was worn and had seen better days. All of the furniture was old and dated. […] The free continental breakfast was very pathetic. All of the breakfast rolls were packaged (Little Debbies?). There were a couple of plastic bottles of syrup, but I don't know what you were supposed to use them on. There wasn't a waffle or pancake to be had anywhere. How sad. "Stay Away!!!"
We arrived and immediately were met with a musty smell. The carpets were worn through in spots. The fixtures in the bath were corroded and while taking a shower the water did not drain even after 4 hours at check-out. The air conditioner only worked intermittently even set on fan. Expedia should remove this location from their listings!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Huntington Inn is OUT"
Continental breakfast was 2 boxes of cereal, raisin bran and fruit crunches, 1 gal of milk, about 6 pastries, 2 coffee urns. Hardly qualifies as a snack, definitely not breakfast. Were 2 half full syrup bottles there; but, manager said those have been there a long time and acted like he didn't know why they were there. Heating unit would not heat unless […] set at about 80 on high with fan constantly running. Had low and auto setting; but, wouldn't heat room. Couldn't even get auto setting to work. Had problem with door key card. Manager couldn't get his master key to work. Changed the battery and the next morning key card would not work again. Told him to forget it as we were checking out today.. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"owners try hard with what they have"
last minute booking for the Auburn Festival. Building is in need of paint and repair. bathroom had mold on shower tiles, bottom of tub appeared to have ground in dirt on it, the air conditioner worked when it felt like it, not good for over night low of 85 degrees. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I will make sure to purchase well in advance for the […] next festival and not at this location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Room was ok."
This motel looks to be recently renovated. Our room was nicely appointed, and comfortable. Unfortunately, our shower/tub didn't work. Over all, I would give it another chance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When my daughter and I got to our room, we noticed that the refrigerator didnt work, and the shower was tempermental also. It worked fine for me the first night we were there, but when my daughter tried to use it the next morning, it made an awful grinding sound, and the shower head wouldn't stay on so you could complete your shower. Other than that, […] the room was fine. For the price, I guess it was expected. I would recommend this hotel if it did some room modifications and updates. Make sure all apppliances worked. "Not the best place I've stayed, but sure not the worst!"
The outdoor pool was empty, but we hadn't really planned on swimming anyhow. The front desk clerk was Indian (from India) so not very easy to understand, but we had no contact with her once we got our room key. The beds were good, the room was clean, and that's all we needed. It served its purpose which was just a room to spend the night & take a quick […] shower the next morning. Breakfast was ok. Typical continental...coffee, tea, cerial, honey buns...I saw syrup, but no waffle or pancakes...LOL Either way, in the end it was exactly what I figured such a cheap rate would pay for. I would recommend this place to anyone just passing through, but definitely not for a vacation or extended stay unless you just need a room to go back to & get some rest each night. That's all I've got. Thanks! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Pretty much what we paid for..."
This hotel was super cheap which is the only good thing about it. Floor was so dirty my baby girl had black feet after walking on it. The door to our room was stuck shut so hard you had to literally kick it in to open it. There was NO ONE in the lobby when I went to check out in the morning and it was dark as though no one intended to be there. Pretty […] much a bad place to stay, although like I said, it was really cheap so I guess you can't expect too much. :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Huntington Inn"
The outside of the Hotel is very deceiving, since the inside of the room was very acceptable for the price. It also had a refrigerator and a microwave, things that some other Hotels don't all have with out paying extra.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
