"Stay almost anywhere else"
While the location is great (middle of downtown and near the U of M campus) this motel, and many in the area, needs to be torn down and rebuilt. First problem, insufficient parking. Unless you are one of the lucky few to get a parking space you are expected to park on the street – all night. The staff tell you that this is just great but,,,,. Next, […] the smell of the room was horrid. This place needed a remodel more than a decade ago. When paying close to $100.00 a night I expect more. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Perfect ,the room was clean ,location was great ....only down ...we had adifficulty understanding the desk check-in.......Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Incredible customer service"
While the hotel was average, the staff at the hotel made it a memorable stay. Warm, friendly, customer-oriented people who made a quick overnight stay during a long journey memorable for me and my kids.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location for both downtown & university"
Good experience, great staff, hotel is a little older with some maintenance issues. ex. marks on walls, slight water leaks in bath, quick incomplete renovationsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I chose this hotel for the location - walking distance to the Top Hat Lounge. But the hotel is pretty run down and not managed very well. It was a decent stay. Clean room, but odd people hanging around everywhere.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice management, good place to stay."
It is so convenient to downtown and all it offers. We have used this motel off and on for 20 years and the current staff are great to work with, and was clean, but the facility could use some little upgrades; like full window coverings to keep out the light, quieter air conditioning and bathroom fans, and more comfortable beds. The pool was not open […] and we could not understand the reason for this. There are many places to eat close by so we did not take advantage of the breakfast. The parking is too tight but street parking is readily available. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was fairly clean and comfortable, but when my husband went to shave he couldn't get the plug to go down so he pulled it out and it was full of hair! GROSS! That night when we turned the air conditioning on, we got nothing but a blast of strong, spicy cooking odors. (apparently the vent to the owner's kitchen is right next to the intake for […] the AC.) So we just had the fan in the bathroom going. Other than that, it was OK. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, has parking, nothing fancy!"
I would stay here again. It's cheap and cheerful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This place was gross. Slimy carpet, grungy bathroom that reeked of mildew. Old tv, comforter that hasn't been washed in years probably. I will never stay here again. What a dump.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location to downtown"
The room was clean, good location, a bit pricey for the quality of the room. The hotel is right next to a bar so it was pretty loud on a Friday night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient and affordable in downtown"
Sure, it's old and rundown a bit, but for $60 a night in downtown, it's tough to beat. Easy walking distance to everything in downtown and friendly staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location to Downtown"
Enjoyed our stay, GREAT LOCATION, can walk about anywhere you need to go.....Hotel Owner and family that run hotel are very friendly and bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as possible...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Possibly the worst place I have ever stayed."
There was no soap in my room and a dirty wash cloth from the previous occupant. Truly disgusting. Horrible smell also.Genuine Expedia guest review
"a week downtown"
i chose this hotel for its price and location. The owners were very nice and helpful, they upgraded my room to help me out since I was staying for the week and changed the room location so I wouldn't have to walk across the property everyday to get to my room. Little things like that were very helpfulGenuine Expedia guest review
"in town for a concert"
It was exactly what we expected. Room was outdated but clean. Price was great. Location was prefect. Staff was extremely nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sanjay is awesome!"
The night manager, Sanjay, is the reason I will stay at this hotel again! He gave me a later checkout time (necessary after New Year's Eve), and was incredibly polite and helpful. The hotel itself is nothing to rave about. The decor hasn't been updated in probably three decades, and two wall panels right under the heater fell off after the heater was […] going for awhile. However, because of Sanjay's excellent customer service, I will definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice people... But it's an old pit"
The people at the front desk were nice. But, the hotel is really old, dark, and scary. It's in a pretty rough part of town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The worst place We've ever stayed."
Horrible. Run down, smelly room, Drunken parties and yelling all night long. No security, or any sign of management to restore order, or police their unruly patrons. I would sleep in my car before I would ever step foot on this property again. Unbelievable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Condition is bad"
Its definitely not a 100$ worth hotel. Quality of hotel and breakfast is very bad.Genuine Expedia guest review
"HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN MISSOULA"
we got stuck in a corner room on the top floor, back out of the daylight. the room smelled terribly of mildew, like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. overall the room was just not nice and I didn't feel comfortable about it at all. However, our brother and friend had a much nicer room on the 2nd floor- we should have complained to the manager.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Works for me..."
Older hotel shows its age; staff is quite pleasant and friendly; one block off Broadway in the heart of City Center... works for me!Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to wilma"
It was what it was. The motel a block from the Wilma in downtown Missoula. Went for a show and it provided a place to sleep afterwards. Staff was amazingly polite and nice. Room needed some maintenance but was clean and had king size bed. Stayed there before , would definitely stay again. Perfect location in downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location was convenient. The shower was very dirty, soap scum and hair in the shower.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

the location of the hotel is great, it's located to really cool shops and night life. The night person was a little less than pleasant to deal with. I'm sure he deals with all sorts of people at night but wasn't very helpful or friendly. The rooms are pretty gross but for the money, you get what you pay for. We didn't shower because the bathroom was […] very "USED". Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I have stayed in many motels in Eugene but you will not find a better value then this one. The staff is very friendly, the internet works great, location is prime, room is very much like a very nice living room with refrigerator, microwave, great heating system. My room was spotless and my overall stay felt very much like home. The previous ratings […] are incorrect. This is the best place to stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Although the front desk folks were very friendly, the sheets hadn't been changed, and we found an earring on the floor next to the bed. The paint in the bathroom was peeling and the tub didn't want to drain. Don't know that I will stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't stay here."
There was a candy wrapper behind one of the nightstands that never got cleaned. The floors didn't look vaccuumed. The shower curtain didn't fit across the shower. Very few outlets. I had to unplug a light to use my CPAP machine. Hotel was under renovation and we had one of the renovated rooms, but there were stains at the baseboards of the bathroom […] walls. The top dresser drawer tilted like it would fall out when you opened it. The pool had a tarp over it, tho it was supposed to be opened by this time of year. No notice was given that it was not available. Not enough parking. Most of the rooms were empty (you could tell because the curtains were open on the available rooms) and we had no place to park the first night. The clerk had us park in a throughway area. If even half of the rooms were in use, there wouldn't be enough spots. Parking on the steet has meters. I did not feel safe. It was just plain creepy. The doors to the stairs were always locked from the outside even tho the sign said it would be locked after 10 PM. We had to go into the lobby every time we went to our room, which was located on the opposite side. I do not recommend this motel. The price was too expensive for what you got. The towels were thin and rough. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Good little place, great for the money, and a fantastic location in downtown Missoula next to shops, restaurants, the university, and a streetcorner where a guy told me I was pretty.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not what I expected!!"
Breakfast was very disappointing. The hot water was lukewarm at best for tea or oatmeal. Not a good offering.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel is in a bad part of town and right across the street from bars and porn. Parking is very limited with most having to park on the street. Room was dirty and smelled and rundown. So called continental breakfast was extremely limited even considering it was a continental breakfast. Would never stay here again. Low price compared to others simply […] isn't worth it. "Clean hotel close to many restaurants"
The hotel was comfortable and clean. Some upgrading needs to be done. The pool was covered and closed, though I'm not sure why. The drain under the sink n the bathroom leaked water all night. The staff were friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"2 star at best...."
Wifi didn't work, room stunk, gross breakfast, ghetto location (although a block away from Main Street)... If ever returning to Missoula, will not stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to university"
Overall was good, except there was construction going on, so was difficult to park and was quite loud at times.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Very old building but updated inside the rooms okay. The parking was under the rooms and was very limited especially if someone parked just a little outside the lines or close to the lines. Didn't eat the continental breakfast as we were out and about in the morning. The wi-fi was weird and kept trying to download a phishing scam with java update. Only when connected to the wifi did it try this. At home I have not had that problem.

The staff were good. Great location. Price wasn't horrible. However the place is run down, dirty, smells funny and is pretty noisy.
08/13/14 Doug S
2 story that is placed up one story off the ground. no elevator. shower head clogged..asked for replacement. replacement was new but was not designed for the low water pressure of the building....just a drizzle. went to lowes and bought my own...guess what it worked. staff is nice, the three day stay sucked.
"A bit old (1950's?) and a bit funky but a very good experience"
08/11/14 suemap Beaverton, Oregon
This is one of those older places where the [immigrant] family that runs it has invested their very soul. Their goal was for us to be pleased with our experience. And we were. The location was good, the price was right, and we felt welcomed and at home. They have a pool, but it seemed to be non-operational. On the other hand, they were busy doing carpet upgrades, etc, so maybe the pool is good now. I liked the open air walkways (of course, it was June. Another time of year this would be less attractive. Parking was on ground level -- a large "carport", below the building. A real blast from the past. Regarding hotel style (one of the questions below): I'm not the kind of traveler who wants a Trendy, or Boutique hotel. And classic....means many things. Charming is sometimes ok.
"Great location-close to downtown"
08/01/14 Runner C Missoula
We stayed at Days Inn downtown in Missoula when we went to do Missoula Marathon. We found the room to be clean and VERY close to the finish line and the University, where we caught the bus to get to the start of the race. We would stay there again. Missed the free breakfast because we had to catch the buses at 5am.

An average motel with the rooms on two floors surrounding a central open air swimming pool which was not available for use when we stayed. Our room was adequate but the walls are very thin - someone in the next room had a sneezing fit at 2.00 a.m.! A rather surly chap checked us in but the chap in charge next morning could not have been more friendly! Breakfast was nothing special.
"Another Poor Days Inn"
07/21/14 Gerard D Missoula
This will be my last stay at a Days Inn. There seems to be no set standard for this hotel brand. The hotel was very old and run down. The pool was not working. The room carpet was worn and dirty. Thin sheets and a poor matress. While waithing to check in 3 women were cutting there stay short their room was so bad. They were made to each pay $30 because they were leaving early. Glad I only booked one night.
07/21/14 Tom H Spokane, Washington
Desk clerk gave us room that was still being cleaned one hour after check-in time. Had to change room. Re-issued room key wouldn't work. Only one way, through lobby, to get to second floor rooms, which can be kind of awkward. Fan in bathroom and air conditioner very noisy. Very little space on one side of the bed. Pool looks like it is permanently closed. Expensive for what you get. Room was clean. Easy walking to downtown.
