"Hotel not worth it get something on the Galveston Strip!"

From the time we got there, they had the room ready for us. My son had got sick on the way down there and we had used up most of the towels and pillows. They had no qualms about getting us more. The housekeeping gave us extra towels when we asked and kept our room nice and clean. The pool was wonderful. No ruffians on the grounds. Nice calm and a good family enviroment. We loved the prices we paid. And it was convienant from Galveston. It only took us 15 minutes to get there. The only thing I didn't like was the vending machine prices. We planning on going down to that area every year. And we has a family agreed to stay at that hotel.

It was exactly what i expected for a overnight stay. Nice bar and cafe. Only 10 mins from Galveston. Easy check-in and check-out. For the Price, i was very pleased.

The first room we got had roaches in the refrigerator. But the manager decided to change me to another room which I had no problem with. I was clean and in good condition.s

This motel/hotel needs lot of improvement. As for the room, sitting chair stained & nasty. While sitting at desk, saw baby cockroach. Sit or lay on bed, feel springs & hear them. Comforters had holes in areas. Now the bathroom was nice and clean and floor vacuumed. Pool was well taken care of. As for the Bear Bites breakfast,no good. They did not keep the muffins,bagels or other in keeper filled. Always empty when I was there. No vast choice.

For what we paid it was a good deal. There were alot of people out at pool very late and you could hear everything thru the walls. I would recommend not getting a pool side room.

This hotel was great as well as very cheap. The breakfast was very good and the best thing, it went on until 10:30 am. It was a great experience!!!

We requested downstairs because there were a group of us, little children with lots to carry. We were put upstairs. They requested nonsmoking, they got smoking. But we have stayed here before it is a nice hotel with great location. Nice clean pool. Will stay again for sure despite the small mishaps for this last stay.

Well I really don't know where to begin; we got to the hotel at 3:00pm on March 21st trying to check into our rooms. Our rooms was not ready first of all, we didn't get to check into the rooms until 3:40pm. The lady that I spoke to was VERY rude to me, I was asking her when we could check in because we had drove 7 hours to get to Galveston and that we were much tried. She told me that she didn't know when the room was going to be ready. I am very upset about all of that. I had booked 2 rooms with yall, because you were highly recommend. Second of all there was still dirty towels in one of the rooms hanging on the rack were your suppose to hang your clothes at. We were in rooms #235 & #237. Then one of my nephews were standing around the check in desk after I just got done talking with the lady, when she said to the other lady that we were lying about how many was staying in the rooms. In less you doing something about this I WILL NEVER recommend this Hotel to ANYONE!!!!!!

I have absolutely no complaints about anything.I stayed 2 nights and everything was great!

We just needed a room for overnight since we were leaving on a cruise from Galveston the next day. This hotel met our requirements at a reasonable price.

First the room did not have a fold out couch. witch would not be a problem if I did not make sure five times that it would. the rooms were ok but very snug. There were people in the hall yelling and screaming all night. I did not fell very safe there and had a very hard time sleeping. I was not able to relax. The hot tub how ever my husband loved.

Hotel hallways smelled of stale tobacco smoke. Our room (handicapped) could have used better lighting.

Very convenient, very comfortable, features were exactly as represented and very adequate, except for the hot water. I took a shower before 6am, and it took very long to get any hot water, and then the water pressure was low. Other than that, and the hotel maids need to learn how to vacuum next to the baseboards, I was very happy with the accommadations. I will definitely stay there again, next time I have to be in that area.

The staff here were very nice, helpful, & accomidating. We would have liked our room to have been a little bigger. It seemed to be a tight squeeze @ times. Overall, it was an adequate room for the price we paid.

The service was good, but the room smell bad.high humidity odor, other than that everything was acceptable.

Good location. Not too far from Galveston but lot cheaper than rates at Galveston hotels.

The hotel was ok, and the staff very friendly. Close enough to Galveston to go back and forth. Overall, an economical hotel for a weekend get away.

We were very happy upon arrival to find that our room had a microwave and mini fridge (amenities that were supposed to be $10 more a night). However, the hotel uses some kind of very strong deodorizer in the room and a funky smell in the hallway. We made several attempts to contact the hotel for directions (no answer at the midnight hour). Overall the stay was good. The room was very clean, comfortable for the money, and in a decent enough location.

except for the croweded pool on saturday night, and a little lack of attention to detail when cleaning the room, ie.not leaving the free coffee, and forgetting the dirty towel in the tub, this was a hotel that exceded our expectations, i have paid more at some places and did not have it this nice. really a good value

This hotel was an older hotel but it was clean and great money for the location. It took about 15 min to get to the beach and it was right off of the freeway. Easy on and off access. We plan on going back in a month and we will definitly stay here again.

Continental breakfast is standard cold fare but toaster is available. The pillows on beds were the smallest and most worthless imaginable. We had two rooms, four beds, and all pillows were the same. With this sole exception, hotel is a decent value for a two star and a good price alternative to motels on Galveston island.

good room for the money liked location to catch a cruise ship from Galveston WalMart and eating places near by and mall handy

We look for a hotel close enough to Galveston but were on a family budget and this hotel was just fine. No super fancy thrills but it had nice pool for kiddos and we felt safe. Galveston is very close so the money we save we were able to add Schlitterbahn in the Vacation...

All I can say is this. I have stayed at 5 star, 4 star hotels and there is more in Travelodge's rooms than any other high star place I've been.

The room appeared to have gone through some renovations, but the paint was peeling in the shower area, the doors were hard to close and lock.

This hotel was in a great location, only 15 minutes from Galveston, right off the hwy, and close to 1 mall and a shopping center. The front building smelled of smoke, but the back "newer" part did not. Beds were comfortable and carpet was newer and appeared clean. The hotel was very quiet and felt secure. For the money, it was a great stay.

This was a great location, right off I-45, for an overnight stay before our cruise. My grandson and I just needed a place to lay our heads and rest before heading to the port of Galveston. Breakfast was great and for the money this hotel can't be beat! I give this hotel a 5!

Hotel was very nice and convenient. Our only issue was the continental breakfast was not very good. It was lacking. The rest of our stay was very nice. Good pool and hot tub.

Bathroom was not clean. Refrigerator was open and smelley. Would not stay here again.

remote control didn't work no stopper for bathtub burn marks on carpet.

The room was clean, staff friendly, a family friendly hotel. The swimming pool and jucuzzi were located in a very nice setting - an extra treat. Would diffinately stay again.

My only complaint is that the doors leading to the outside area were not secure. You needed a pass key to enter the door when they are closed, but the doors did not close all the way,(unless pulled shut) leaving them unsecured for other to just enter.

Great for just relaxation, great outdoor pool,and patio area. Fun for the whole family.
