    One of the nicest motel stays we've had in a long time. The staff really made the difference between a good experience and an exceptional experience.... And the breakfast, especially for a complimentary breakfast, was outstanding. The staff ran it like a restaurant catering to our every need, and it included items like waffles made to order and fresh biscuits with country sausage gravy. The rooms and all of the common areas were clean, well maintained and attractive. And in terms of value for your dollar, I would challenge anyone to find a better deal.     All went quite well. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was missing soap and shampoo, however, but the front clerk fixed that. The computer in the lounge could use a user-friendly instruction sheet for getting online. Other than that, it was a bargain and a nice stay.

    To most out of staters you will think I'm crazy due to the general public in most parts of the country. My car had lights left on went in overnight, went in to ask for a jump at 9am (2) employees there. Asked the question they said we have no jumper cables. Then I responded I did, they just looked down and ignored me (what a joke). Minnesota nice doesn't […] apply to there weekend staff at least or just plain lazy. The funny thing is I live 25 miles away first of all and have hotel front desk experience. They could have asked the janitor and or manager to help. Besides this isn't minneapolis and or a big hotel etc. No small town service here. I recommend Holiday Inn Express across town for a few dollars more :) Read more

    We payed about half the price we would have to stay at other hotels in town. Stayed in a room with one queen bed. Room was very clean, but probably the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in. My husband and I are large people and it was a little cramped for us, but we were only there for maybe 8 hours total, so it was OK. I would assume that a 2 bed […] room has more space. The room itself was very clean and well kept, as were the rest of the facilities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as expected for a continental breakfast. Fine assortment of cakes and breads, waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, juice, milk and hot beverages. Again, morning staff was very friendly and helpful.     Everything about the hotel was great! The only issue I had was that the front desk wasn't "manned" and when I called the phone, no one appeared. I left and had to come back. Perhaps carrying a cell phone would be helpful. This really wasn't a huge issue just an observation. The people who were there were very friendly and helpful.

    We did not arrive at the hotel until 11:30 pm but there were two people working at the desk and we received prompt attention with no delays. The room was comfortable. We left early in the morning and again had no problem getting prompt service at check out.

    The lighting throughout the hotel in the main hallways needs to be upgraded. The halls are too dark when walking in the bldg. Recommend placing microwave and small refrig in room for families stay for more than a couple of days. Breakfast is good but scrambled eggs and bacon would be a great touch. All in all, a very nice stay. Thanks so much.

    Although the Queen-bed room was small, the cleanliness was exceptional. We enjoyed the fact that this hotel was centralized to all local sites, and we enjoyed our one-nite stay.

    The room was clean and quiet. The staff was always friendly. I appreciated having the coffee maker, as I usually bring my own coffee. My main complaint is that the entire facility is non-smoking.

    I booked this hotel on Hotels.com so the rate was great! It was an older hotel in a business district, but it was clean and well kept up. Worked well for a quick stopover. Breakfast was more than I expected.

    I loved the room- it was cozy: a bed, a table, two chairs, tv, a place for hanging clothes.. very efficient, not rambling and huge. I suspect they have bigger, but I didn't need that.     Hot and stuffy room made it hard to sleep. Turning down the thermostate did nothing to the room temperature. It was February so it was too cold to keep the window open and the air conditioner was shut off for the season. The breakfast was just blah.
