we checked in around 8 pm, front desk woman was very polite, helped me out with wifi, great clean hotel rooms, definitely stay there again, and if not in that town i will look for a Quality Inn. Very satisfied.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Remodeled Hotel"
The room was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. Only negative is they charge a nightly fee of 15.00+tax for your pet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

New name, same old hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was fine if your expectations are basic, but the description of the room on Expedia is completely inaccurate. The standard queen room does not have a pillowtop bed. The bathroom does not have a deep soaking tub. There is no washer/dryer, separate living room, or queen sofa bed. There is no sofa at all. In fact, there was barely enough floor […] space to set up our travel sized pack and play baby bed. Again, it is fine if you are just looking for a very basic hotel room, but it did not live up to our expectations given the price and description online. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This Out-dated hotel had holes in the walls from pulled-out towel bars, mismatched furniture (functional, but not pretty). The bathroom towels had mascara marks on them - making me question if they were truly clean or just refolded...ick. Unfortunately, our room was directly across from the lobby. The overnight employee had the radio on from 11pm till […] 3am that could clearly be heard in our room. Also breakfast set up was loud. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"One good, one not-so-good"
We had two rooms on 9/6/13. Both recently remodeled. One room was fine. The other room had an unpleasant odor and the air conditioning didn't work sufficiently. We didn't arrive until late and were tired so there wasn't much we could do.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel staff was wonderful! We requested early check in as we were arriving for a wedding and planned on getting ready at the hotel. They were prompt to enable us into our rooms. Once in after we were getting ready the room kept getting warmer as the ac was not working. Went downstairs and they immediately offered us another room and we moved to […] that room. They even were thoughtful and checked to make sure the ac worked okay now and that we were comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Was perfect and the kids enjoyed it too! Thanks! "Summer Golfing Vacation"
This hotel was chosen as a jumping off place. We had previously arranged to spend a night on Mackinac Island so we chose the hotel for proximity. In doing so we met some very nice young folks trying to make a go of an older hotel. The breakfast included in the stay was surprising. Every thing was fresh and served at the correct temperatures. The best […] thing that could be said is it is quite. Just far enough off the main highway not to be too big of a distraction. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again since the price was fair for the accommodations received. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice staff, but not good condition/clean"
The staff were very nice, and were eager to please the customer. Unfortunately the hotel itself was not very great. The room wasn't very welcoming, was very small, and didn't seem very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very comfortable bed and clean room. The only downfall...and it isn't the hotels fault is the 24 hour trains. After the first night you don't hear them anymore. Another positive is the continental breakfast and all the options to choose from.Genuine Expedia guest review
"exactly what a mid- range hotel should be"
Clean, comfortable, decent breakfast. Exactly what if expect from hotel in this price range.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The front glass door looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 6 months. Made me feel creepy as I had to walk through it 4x a day. I had to ask 2 employees to please clean it. On the last day of my stay, just as I was leaving, it was finally cleaned. I spilled some pop in my room on the desk and wiped it up, but left a washrag & empty pop bottle in place […] so the staff would do a better job. They took the bottle & rag away but didn't clean under it. They must have thrown the rag on the floor in the sink area because from then on the floor was sticky as could be. The staff was not overly friendly. When I asked for the glass to be cleaned I felt like I was being challenged by them. Really? I had to say "look at how filthy it is"..... so the place was just ok. Maybe they were all having a bad day that Fri/Sat/Sun. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel and great location"
This hotel was recently re-done and is very nice for the money. It was clean and Julie was very helpfull. The continental breakfast was superb. Thanks again... Jim D. Appleton, Wi.Genuine Expedia guest review
"What an overpriced, disappointing stay!"
Our room was dreary, crowded and dingy. The air conditioner emitted an odor that caused me to think we might catch Legionaire's disease from it. We checked in on 8/23 and it appeared the room hadn't been rented since July as the latest HBO movie guide was for July. The lighting in bathroom was dismal -- perhaps 60 watts of light at best. The recliner […] in the room had very noticeably stained upholstery and seemed unclean. The breakfast area had a total of 4 (count them four) tables of which only 3 had chairs to sit by and the total square footage of the breakfast area, including counter space appliances could not have exceeded 280 square feet. This "Quality Inn & Suites" was an old converted Super 8 motel. A huge disappointment! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was recently painted and recarpeted. The rooms and hallway had a strong chemical smell, which was probably from the new paint and carpet. Little things needed to be done. Baseboard was not back in place. Holes in bathroom where towel bar had been were not repatched. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Memominee River Century Ride"
OK - remodeling was going on throughout the hotel while we were there. Pounding and other noise until 9pm each night. Rooms are not very sound proof. Train tracks close by. Train went by and blew its whistle several times each nigh around 2-3am! Room was nice. Light fixture was hanging down from the ceiling in the bathroom. They forgot clean our room […] on Sunday. I have stayed here many times now on my business trips to Marintette and have always found a clean, comfortable room with a very friendly and helpful staff! The beds are very comfortable! You just can't go wrong with a room here at the Quality Inn.

I was here for a 2-week business trip and had a back-room on bottom floor. Wi-fi was fast, TV channels enough and clear, laundry available. Including pool area and sport facilities. Breakfast is good, plenty of everything, serials, egg’s, sausages, all kinds of drinks. Dislike, garbage truck came in early, 05:30hrs.
"Great place to stay"

We had never been to Marinette before, but we were visiting our great aunt. This hotel was very clean and not expensive. When we arrived we were greeted by a woman named Katina. She was so nice and friendly. Since it was so cold there she had turned the heat on in our room , so the room was nice and warm when we arrived. What great customer service, she deserves an award. The hotel offered a wonderful complimentary breakfast, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. It was delicious. Definitely will stay there again.
"Just what we needed"

This Quality Inn and Suites was perfect for our needs while visiting Marinette. The bed was very comfortable, tv with all the HD channels and fridge and micro were very useful. Room and hotel were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved hot breakfast every morning. When we visit Marinette next time, we will be staying at this hotel.

I spend one night per week in Marinette for business. I usually stay in a suite which has 2 rooms ( one a bedroom and the other a sitting/kitchenette type room ). I really enjoy the two rooms. It is very easy and comfortable to relax in the sitting area in a comfy chair with ottoman, watching the flat screen TV. The bedroom is very nice with new linens and a very comfortable mattress. I have never been disturbed by noise from other guests. The people who work there are so nice and very concerned about everything being to my satisfaction. I understand this hotel was kind of a dump in the past, but it is great now.

We have stayed at this motel during all different seasons and have always had a very pleasant stay. The staff couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. You are always greeted with a smile and your comfort is their prime concern. Our rooms are always clean, perfect pillows for sleeping, no noise in the halls or neighboring rooms & they even take pets for a small charge. The breakfast area is clean & we've never been disappointed in the food. We highly recommend this establishment & never have to worry about our stay. It is consistently excellent!

Traveling from Milwaukee to my home town in the Upper Pennisula I chose to stay at this location as I was tired of driving and exhausted from my long day. I'm so glad I chose to stay here as I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area. The young lady sugested nice restaurants near the hotel as we didnt want to travel far to get a good bite to eat. The room was great very clean, bed was comfy, it also had 2 separate rooms, 2 flat screen tvs, and a couch. Very spacious and quiet. Well worth the price paid. Will stay again in the near future.
"Better look else where"
12/28/13 Mike D Delafield, Wisconsin
This hotel was formerly a Super8 motel. After staying there over the Christmas break it certainly doesn't live up to Quality Inn standards. The room was very dated with dirty carpet and saggy beds. We were greeted with a large blood stain on the pillow visible beneath the pillow case. The heater thermostat was broken so. It never shut off. I was on duty every. 3 hours to turn it on and off before the room hit. 95 degrees.
I travel 3-5 days a week. This property has most of the qualities I avoid. The beds were worn out 5 years ago. The walls are paper thin (I listened to my neighbor snore all night). It is right next to a busy railroad line. There was a foul odor like mildew masked by a pungent deodorizing spray. It appears there has been an attempt to update the property recently. I say attempt because it was not successful. The repairs are haphazard and rudimentary. The property is foreign owned, which I avoid at all costs due to numerous bad experiences with foreign owned properties. The front desk staff was helpful and no issues there.
"Great service and great stay"

I flew into Green Bay and drove to Marinette for business. I chose this location after reading the trip advisor reviews. This is not a new hotel, but there was definitely evidence that the owners are trying to be very diligent about the up-keep. When I was there, the front lobby and breakfast area was being given a facelift to improve the look and feel. I was greeted warmly by the nice lady at the front desk (I think her husband is the owner/manager?). She made me feel appreciated (something that is getting rare in the hotel business), and even helped me choose a good place to eat ( I ended up at Mickey Lu’s BBQ- see that review). I was upgraded to a suite room and promptly received a call from the front desk enquiring as to my satisfaction with the room. The room had the new smell of renovation and was attractive and very clean. I enjoyed being able to open the window and let some fresh air in. My only minor issue was that the mirror in the bathroom was a little distorting (a little like a fun-house mirror). I didn’t complain as it didn’t really bother me that much. There is no pool so that may be a drawback for some. Breakfast was good (biscuits and sausage gravy was very good). I was only here for one night, but I did enjoy my stay very much. This is a shining example that a hotel doesn’t have to be brand new to be a nice place to stay!
