We got a prepaid reservation with Hotels.com. Great service. Our room was preassigned. It was just above the valet parking garage. The garage doors went up and down. We tolerated the noise and vibration. The next morning I mentioned the noise to the desk. "We try never to put anyone in that room!" I made the reservation at least 10 days before Valentines […] day. We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn. the staff were very cordial and polite and the rooms and service were great. Nice and close to downtown. Parking was a bit of a downer. Very little room on the street and the rest of the parking you pay for.

My stay there was one week, and was mostly enjoyable. The pool is open later than most, and the staff is friendly and helpful, but the Internet speeds are the worst I've ever seen in any hotel. It may be free, but you're better off using your phone as a hotspot. I did a speed test and found the average speeds while I was there to be a out .15 Mbps. […] Not 1.5, .15!!!!! It felt like the days of America Online had returned. Netflix, email, even reading my local paper online were an impossibility. Very frustrating. The hotel is close to the Convention Center and is an easy walk in good weather. The breakfast could have been better (bread tasted stale on second day). The whirlpool had one area that looked like it needed cleaned.

Great 2-night stay for business with a convenient location near the heart of downtown. The room was modern with clean beds and bathroom. Nearly slipped in the shower though, likely due to my clumsy nature. The free breakfast was aptly timed for my early mornings, and they even had breakfast on the go available at 5:30 am. It's rare that I can say I'm satisfied with every aspect of a hotel. Hampton did it. You get all the benefit of being in the center of the business district, and more bang for your buck. I had a 3-day conference at another hotel four blocks away, was able to walk over in less than 10 minutes (a healthy way to start my day), and could escape from the […] other conferees when the day was done. I didn't use the indoor pool, hot tub, or fitness center, but looked in on all and all were good. Fitness had a recumbent bike, elliptical and another apparatus, could have used free weights. Breakfast was significantly better than the typical "continental breakfast" I often encounter on the road. USA Today stacked on shelf under the coffee urns. HDTV, about 4 HBO channels. The hard-copy TV station listing was totally wrong, but on-screen was correct. Beds excellent, and variety of pillow shapes (the huge ones are uncomfortable). Bathrooms clean, shower very good. Very clean and quiet hotel. Conveniently located near downtown companies. Great pool and spa! Also, just a few blocks away form the 16th street mall bus. I didn't have a car so no experience with the parking lot. If doing business downtown you should consider this Hotel.

Centrally located, close to 16th St Mall and several nice restaurants. The hotel is clean and quiet (I had an interior room so there was no traffic noise). I was so impressed with how clean the hotel was - and staff is great. Downtown so extremely clost to everything you'd like to do (taxi always waiting) and within walking distance to 16th so we made that walk each day. Family friendly and wonderful breakfast.

This is a newly renovated facility. Our room was very clean and very very large. The hotel offered a great weekend discounted rate. We wanted to be near the Convention Center for an event. Excellent location and very helpful staff. No "pay for" services like so many high end hotels. We will definitely stay there again!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel last weekend. The check in was efficient, and Brianna was friendly and helpful, as were all the staff on subsequent days. The room was nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable, as usual for a Hampton. A few specific details that I think are helpful. This hotel doesn't have a large drive through area to check […] in. There is just a "loading zone" area directly in front where you can park to check in, and/or valet your car. The front desk people also function as valet, so you just take your keys in to them. There is a pay parking lot directly across the street from the hotel, if you wish to park your own car. The breakfast is a reasonable hotel breakfast - not the best, but not the worst. They offered scrambled eggs both days, and cheese bagels once, sausage, fruits, waffles (make your own), juice, hazelnut and french vanilla creamers for coffee. The croissants were hard and stale, but the fruit was fresh and nice. The shower pressure wasn't strong enough to suit me but my mother thought it was fine. You can occasionally hear the neighbors in the hallway or neighboring rooms, but overall it was quiet and pleasant. Read more

I chose this hotel because it was very close to where I needed to be that week. The staff was nice and very helpful. There was coffee throughout the day, breakfast beginning at 6, and cookies in the afternoon. Rooms were pretty standard. They felt clean and were relatively quiet. A short walk to 16th street mall.

I booked last minute for my Masters Thesis Defense. The price was a little high but I suppose you could attribute that to location, urgency, and day of the week, and I really don't mind too much. Hotel was great for two grand kids (5 and 7) and myself. Expansive leisurely breakfast- we hardly needed lunch. Pool/ hot tub were fun on cold wintery day. Cookies and mints a hit with young ones. Close to everything. Felt safe in neighborhood.

I have never stayed at a Hampton Suites, but they have my business forever now. Free wireless=check. Lovely breakfast=check. CLEAN room=check. Helpful staff=check.
