"Below expectations"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Having stayed at the Landis Hotel in Taipei, I expected Icon to offer the same service quality or better. After checking in, no one bothered to show us to our room and introduce us to the facilites available. I booked a harbor view room for an increased price. Sure there was a view of the harbor, if you looked to the left side. Directly outside my window was the rooftop of the mall. The concierge was helpful. I had one meal at the lobby cafe. My mom ordered a chowder in bread bowl. The bread came out toasted with green mold!! How did they miss that?! Killed our appetites immediately! I've read comments comparing Icon to the Four Seasons. One of our travel companions stayed there and I had an opportunity to rest in her room during our long afternoons in Hong Kong island. The hotel is impeccable and there was definitely no mold in our food.

Decent size room for Hong Kong. Definitely not huge but plenty big enough. Nice bathroom. Perfect Kowloon location. Clean and nice

Considered the central business district, Central is home to the corporate headquarters of multinational financial services, consulates-general, and Hong Kong government and administrative offices. The area is also a major transport hub for buses, trains, trams, and ferries. Head to Hollywood Road for antiques and trinkets, and Soho for bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and galleries.

Hong Kong has many great locations. This hotel Lan Kwai Fong is near restaurants, shops and night life. It has a great price point.

"Great location and room!"
Very nice hotel in the middle of the restaurant and bar scene in Hong Kong. Extremely attentive staff and pristine room condition. Will definitely return to this hotel
"An unusual locaiton for a boutique hotel"
In the middle of the restaurant and club district at Lan Kwai Fong and round the corner from the extremely lively street food market (meet your chicken before you eat it), this is in a very good location for public transportation and I found it very comfortable - though the high-tech lighting remained a mystery to me throughout my stay. Like a W hotel, […] but with excellent staff service and all the internet and so on you could want. Read more
"Sadly, too noisy!"
The location is great, you're inthe middle of Lan Kwai Fong, except that you're also in the middle of a booming loud party! The booming music was all night on Wednesday and Thursday, thankfully I checked out on Friday. The hotel did move me to the 16th Floor from the 12th when I called and complained around midnight, but the 16th was just as loud. My […] suggestion, if you're not a party animal that's looking for late nites, this hotel is not for you (I was on business). Read more

"Hotel LKF Hong Kong - Coolest hotel in HK"
People generally refer to W Hotels as the benchmark of cool hotels. In this case, I would say LKF far exceeds that benchmark. I've been to so many Ws and other hotels all over the world, but LKF's property quality, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, and desirability of location far exceeds most of the so-called "cool hotels" that people rave […] about. And yes, this hotel looks very modern, but it doesn't feel as cold as the Ws. Top notch experience, the rooms are of a good size (especially considering that this is HK), the lobby is pretty cool, the penthouse bar is fun, and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful (which says a lot since it was New Year's when I was there and the hotel was 100% booked). Location-wise, it's hard to beat this too -- you're right at Lan Kwai Fong, 2 blocks away from SoHo and also 2 blocks away from the subway and the escalators that basically take you everywhere in HK, and you're within walking distance or a 5-minute cab ride to the IFC where you can catch a train to the airport (hint: don't take a cab from the airport...just take the train to "Hong Kong" and that will take you to IFC) or a ferry to Kowloon. And for new year's, your room key helps you bypass all the police barricades along LKF, so you can basically go everywhere despite their crowd control barriers. Do yourself a favor and skip the usual hotels when you go to HK and book yourself a night at LKF. Read more
"Great location, right in the heart of the HK nightlife/action"
Just steps away from the nightlife, bar-crawl action!

"Very Noisy!"
Our room faced the street and was extremely noisy. Blaring music didn't die down until 2:00 AM.
"A Business trip in Central Hong Kong"
I needed to be in the Central district and this hotel is perfect. Situated within minutes of Financial district, but immediately surrounded by masses of restaurants, the hotel lives up to 5* status. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and everything works. Meeting rooms to suit the numbers, good restaurant and prompt friendly service. Considering the […] rates compared to the other 5* hotels, there is no question that I will go anywhere else. Read more
LKF has many Beautiful and cozy rooms...the service was fine, but it is located in LanKwaiFong area...so it's little bit noisy at night. Except the noise, everything was fantastic!!!

The hotel is in an excellent location if you require to be near to Central. Staff friendly and efficient. Room clean and in good condition. Can be a little noisy due to proximity to Lang Kwai Fong

"Hotel LKF Hong Kong - too close to the action"
Spent an anniversary night with my wife at Hotel LKF. Chose it because there was a hotels.com discount, close to work and restaurants. Service and ambiance were fine. Especially enjoyed views from Azure bar. Only issue was that Lan Kwai Fong is Hong Kong's bar district and the noise (even on the 12th floor) kept us awake. I should have known this […] going in, especially as several other reviewers have mentioned it. But if you're looking for a relaxing night and a good night's sleep, I suggest possibly going for a higher floor. Hotel LKF - suggest triple glazing or complimentary ear plugs. Read more
"Hippest Hotel in Hong Kong"
If you want to be near LKF or Central, there isn't a better place to be.
"Hotel LKF in Hong Kong Island"
The Hotel is very modern and in very good condition. It is a short walk from Central Station and in good walking distance to many of the key shopping areas. The rooms were very spacious and has good facilities in the room. The bathrooms were also well presented. The hotel is in close range to a number of clubs that can make noise well into the late […] hours of the night. Depending on which floor of the hotel you are in it may effect your sleep. Read more

Really good location and a very nice hotel. Room was large and very clean with a brilliant view out the bathroom!
"Hotel LKF - For Trendy People"
This boutique hotel is located in the heart of Hong Kong's food and party district for the young at heart with a bit of money to spend. Situated in between Lan Kwai Fong and Soho, guests will find lots of convienient places to eat and party till late. I enjoyed the clean, modern look of the room while the hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The […] best club in my view for a Friday night is Prive which is just across from LKF so there's no problem if one intends to drink the night away because the room is just a skip and a hop away. "Perfect for young and vibrant tourist"
very nice boutiqe hotel, with extremlly well location at the center of LKF, where all the HK's night life happens. i have been told i been upgraded, but feel like the room is pretty standard. Room is closy, nice bed. Toiletry range are OK, the hidden draw in the bathroom is not really a good design as very hard to take things from inside. However shower […] kits - shampoo conditioner etc are very nice, love it, one of the best i have ever used. If you are young, ideally single or even with partner, love to go out and experience night life, this is the hotel to stay. But if you are family with kids and lots of luggages, the walk through LKF will be your nightmare. Read more

"Nice Hotel"
Very Near the Subway, and room space is larger than other hotels that i lived before. The lobby is in second floor, not easy to find.

"Hotel LKF"
