      We arrived earlier than check in time and since the hotel wasn't full, we got to check in early. The room was very clean and looked just like the picture! Hotel employees were extremely nice. The bed was a little firmer than we like, but we only stayed one night. The free breakfast was better than most. The hotel was only a few minutes away from the casino. Next time in Cherokee, we will stay here!!

    This is an old motel that has been remodeled. Rooms are very nice and spotlessly clean; staff pleasant and very helpful. Will stay here every time we are in the area.

    With limited accommodations in Franklin, NC, the Carolina Motel turned out to be a great choice. Cleanliness is a priority and it was spotless - not only the room, but the public places and grounds. The furniture was dated, but the upholstery was clean. The Deluxe King bed was comfortable.

    1br cabin behind the motel was very clean and nice for a long weekend stay. All the comforts of home and the advantage of having the pool. Just outside downtown and less than a mile from the theatre. Will likely come back next time we come in for a concert.

    We booked this motel based on the reviews and were not disappointed. If you want a clean room and friendly service at a economical price, this is the one for you. We found it to be very convenient to area dining as well as within reach of many of the sites we wanted to visit in the smokies. We would certainly use this one again.

    Clean, friendly, convenient. Bring your own hairdryer, clock, iron. Don't use the fridge, it freezes the food & water. Towels were soft but had holes as did the comforter. No counter space in bathroom.

    This hotel was a delightful surprise. Good continental breakfast, rooms seemed to be new or reconditioned, no musty odor that many motel rooms have, comfortable large bed with microwave, refrigerator and strong air conditioner that was always on (some cheap hotels turn them off when they clean)...staff was very friendly and helpful with the many questions […] we had about places to go such as restaurants, roads, etc. Franklin is not a fancy town, and this hotel is on the outskirts not downtown, but it is reasonable and people treat you fairly, not like tourists, since the area is on RT23 and a major touriist road, there are plenty of fast food places, a shopping mall, places to buy rocks and gems, and lots of shopping downtown, even a museum and historical society. This would be an excellent hotel to stay in on your way somewhere or to spend a few days exploring the beautiful mountainsides with its waterfalls, views, and other tourist attractions.     As others have stated, the hotel rooms are a little bit worn/dated, but still very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was impeccable and the pillows were comfortable (I like high, fluffy pillows, and it's rare to find these at small and budget hotels).     The motel staff was extremly nice. The rooms were very clean. It had to be the cleanest motel bathroom I had ever seen. The beds were comfortable. I would absoultey stay here again. This motel is only about a 25min drive from Highlands, NC where the Hotels are quiet pricey. If you are looking for a room on a budget, this is your place.

    Im großen Ganzen waren wir zufrieden und können das Motel empfehlen. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach. Ärgerlich war, dass der Pool schon um 21:00 Uhr geschlossen war.
