"Called "The Place Cagliari" for a Reason"Reviewed by Sean Q of "San Francisco, CA" on Dec 19, 2011
This place is "The Place" to stay if you are visiting Cagliari. Granted the streets to get there are tiny to you may want to park a few blocks away and walk in, but otherwise, it is sheerly amazing. It is in the old city which is very cool and quaint. The rooms are each unique, very charming, and the bed is heaven. The bathrooms are ultra modern, and have wonderful showers. The breakfast is very complete. The place itself is spotless, and the hosts are so helpful and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better start or a better end to my visit to Sardinia.

"Hotel Miramare in Cagliari, Sardinia"Reviewed by Dan Mc of "Austin, TX" on Aug 1, 2011
We had a wonderful 3 days at the hotel this July. The rooms and common areas were perfectly decorated, the breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were most helpful to us who don't speak Italian very well! I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cagliari. Great central location, beautiful interiors, and wonderful people. Thank you Hotel Miramare! We'll be back...

good reception, room as expected but don't forget italian power supply adapter (mainly for women). The weather was not as expected (lot of wind & storm in may) so that no possibility to use the swimming-pool. Good feedback in general.

South east of Cagliari, this popular resort was once a quiet fishing village framed by fragrant Mediterranean pine trees and vegetation. The surrounding countryside is still beautiful and the waters are crystal clear – perfect for snorkelling, diving and glass-bottomed boat trips. The sea is sprinkled with little islands, the largest of which are the Isola dei Cavoli and Isola Serpentara, part of a marine reserve area.
