The room was absolutely clean, the staff extremely friendly, the food terrific and the location right off Tahrir Square and the Museum of Antiquity with the subway just across the street. The price is fantastic bargain if you do not mind squeezing yourself into a small room.

Nice hotel, free wifi in lobby, free wired internet in room. 2 Restaurants, Italian place was excellent. Best for a one night stay if your soon heading to the airport to depart. 24-hr shuttle bus to the airport leaving every half hour. Airport is literally 2-3 mins away. I also like the staff since a couple of them greeted/responded to me with some humorous sarcasm (somewhat lost art in Egypt)

Had a 12 hour layover and this hotel is literally 5 minutes from airport. It has a casino but it doesn't open until 9 pm, the room was very modern though the mini bar fridge was warm, so all the drinks were as well. The pool and landscape was nice and it was quiet in the room which is amazing dice Cairo is such a horn friendly city! They have a security gate at the entrance of the grounds and security at the door to the hotel so I felt very safe while I was there.

If you are going to travel to Egypt with someone of the opposite sex (if one is from a muslim country), remember you need either: 1) Marriage certificate 2) Seperate rooms (unlikely you will be offered this option) 3) Egypt's temporary marriage certificate (can be bought at a solicitors for around 300EGP) Make your base in Alexandria rather than Cairo. "A bit far out from Cairo downtown but good hotel"
Husa Pyramids is a good, clean, three (maybe 4) star hotel. In comparisson with the majority of other services and areas in Cairo, that was an air-condioned haven. The staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was ok, not great, and if you have teenagers like me, you may wish to stock up on cereals. A kettle is also needed […] as the rooms don't have one, and if you need a hot drink you need to purchase from the restaurant or room service. Prices were reasonable. The prices offered by the in-house travel agent were too expensive and the quality of the guides average. I have made some good contacts and ended up finding much better deal for half of the price. "Absolut in Ordnung fuer den Preis"
Bis auf einige Kleinigkeiten, die man bemaengeln kann, aber nicht muss, war ich sehr zufrieden. Fuer den Preis war es absolut ok. Das Buffett am Morgen war sehr reichhaltig und lecker, genug zum sattessen fuer den halben Tag. Sichtweite zu den Pyraniden absolut gegeben und fantastisch am Abend vom Dachrestaurant. Schade das dieses Restaurant erst so […] spaet aufmacht. Die Anbindung zur Stadt ist gut, man kommt schnell,fuer Aegyptische Verhaeltnisse, in die Innstadt. Ein Pool ist voerhanden. Vom Hotel aus geht man in ca. 30 min zu Fuß zu den Pyramiden von Gizeh. Ich war mit Größe und Ausstattung meiner Luxury-Suite zufrieden. Die Fernseher habe ich allerdings nie eingeschaltet. Das Frühstückbuffet ist bescheiden. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers lässt für deutsche Maßstäbe zu wünschen übrig. Das Leitungswasser sollte man nicht trinken. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis […] ist allerdings OK. Das Personal drängt sich auf. Koffer werden getragen, Türen geöffnet und dafür erwartet man nach ägyptischer Sitte ein Trinkgeld. Ik heb daar in oktober doorgebracht en was toen heel tevreden, op grond van die ervaring zou ik het anderen zeker aanraden, was ook de reden dat ik er weer heen wilde. Kwaliteit van de service liet dit keer zeer te wensen over. Receptionist verontschuldige zich voor gebrek aan service omdat er maar tien gasten waren, waarvan wij vieren. Ik heb zeer […] veel compassie met hen en de terugloop van de toeristen, dat ook gezegd, maar als er dan toeristen zijn is het wel handig om te bieden wat je belooft.(bv ontbijt op beloofde tijdstip en taxi op beloofde tijdstip) Ik zou wel weer naar het hotel gaan. "Good value for money, but could be cleaner"
The hotel seems relatively old but the staff is trying hard to make it as neat as possible. However, our room was not particularly clean (especially the bathroom) and was also facing the street. With the traffic in Egypt being so messy and loud, that’s definitely something to try to avoid. If you’re having trouble falling asleep, better bring some earplugs. Transfer […] from and back to the airport costs 55$ which is a fair price given the drive is almost one hour long. Price is a total, not per person. Getting around the city of Giza is definitely tough without a driver or taxi. Be aware that driver’s always try to bring you to some local souvenir shops where they probably get a provision if you actually buy something. Fördelar: Pris, Läge, Trevlig personal, hyfsat rent och stort rum (vi fick ett av hotellets sviter). - Minus: Frukosten (Dåligt utbud, dålig service, varm mat som serveras kall, kall mat som serveras för varm, möglig ost mm.. så håll uppsikt!). Restaurangen på högsta våningen: Totalt smaklös, vi blev dessutom dåliga i magen efter restaurangbesöket. […] Vill man spendera en eftermiddag på toaletten rekommenderas den dock ;-) I övtigt är hotellet helt okej, poolen går att bada i. (vår erfarenhet av hotellpooler i Egypten är att de kan vara av starkt skiftande stadier av förfall och renlighet). --- Advantages: Price, Location, nice staff, pretty clean and spacious room (we had one of the hotel suites). - Minus: Breakfast (Poor selection, poor service, hot food served cold, cold food that is served too warm, moldy cheese, etc. .. so watch carefully!). The restaurant on the top floor: Totally tasteless, we were also bad in the stomach after the restaurant visit. If you want to spend an afternoon in the bathroom it is recommended, however ;-) Otherwise the hotel is okay, the pool is quite OK to swim in.
