We were a little taken aback to find that the accommodation consisted of individual cabins in the grounds - that wasn't evident on the website. However, our room was clean - as was the bathroom - and big enough, although not huge. It was nice to have control of our own heating/air conditioning and windows that opened at night were a plus. Disappointed at the lack of housekeeping - at 9.0 a.m. every morning (whilst we still getting ready to go down for breakfast), housekeeping staff knocked and asked if we wanted clean towels. We didn't - there was enough for a small army. However, because we said "No thank you", nothing else was done - bins not emptied; bathroom not cleaned; bed not made. Our host was charming, interesting and interested and we enjoyed our conversations with him. Breakfast was good, although no choice was given: one plate of food (both savoury and sweet on the same plate, which we found odd but is presumably an American custom) delivered to the table, plus juice and tea/coffee. They try, they really do. But we felt like we were sleeping inside our grandmother's sewing basket. Silk and plastic flowers EVERYWHERE. The room was cozy but cluttered and small. All the flat surfaces were covered with something so there was no room to put personal items. The bathroom was clean but very small and again no where to put personal items. The bed linens kept sliding off the bed and the bed was a bit too hard for our taste. The area was nice and it was located close to Rock city. However, the room we stayed in had a lot of problems that made the stay inconvienant windows did not have blinds on them in the bed room. I read a lot of the reviews before hand and they were mixed. But I had a great experience! Everyone was friendly, breakfast was fresh and tasty, room was clean and comfortable. The location is a great spot for exploring Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga. Cafe down the street is also really good! Go and enjoy!

Quirky cabin made a change from hotel rooms but used to better breakfasts in B&B's. An orange juice, one coffee and one plate put in front of you, take it or leave it, no choice. If there had been optional yogurt/fruit/cereal/toast and some more coffee this would have been fine.
