Astrid Hotel am Kurfuerstendamm - Berlin

Nice location in central part of West Berlin - lots of restaurants and shopping on Ku damm and a 5 minute walk to the nearest Ubahn station. The room for 3 people was spacious, comfortable and clean, though the bathroom was tiny. Good parts - free wifi, no extra charge for the 3rd guest, breakfast included (small selection, but adequate), and very friendly […] and helpful staff. There's no parking at the hotel, but they give you a parking pass for the street for 7 Euro per day and you don't have to pay the meters. Downside - small bathroom, somewhat noisy on the streets that woke us up at 6 am three mornings in a row, and it's about a 20-30 minute trip to the main sightseeing activities (though we liked staying in the Kudamm area and gladly took a bus or train to the main sites. Public transportation runs until about 1245 am, so it was no trouble even if staying out for late dinner and drinks). Read more

I enjoyed having this hotel in the middle of Kurfurstendamm street, two minutes walk from the convenient Savignyplatz train station, which got me to any point in town. The street this hotel is located in has many restaurants. The staff was extremely pleasant. They showed me 3 different rooms to select from! I chose the one they assigned for me in the […] first place eventually. They helped me plan my stay in Berlin, and suggested some good restaurants to eat in. They also helped me to plan my way back to airport on the last day of my stay. They were warm and friendly. The hotel has free WiFi, which allowed me to plan the next days from my room. The room was tidy and quiet. The hotel was quiet in general. I felt at home there. Breakfast was very good. The tap water were said to be clean, so I drank them at night. Bath was clean, and the water were hot, although it tool them several minutes to become hot (probably cold pipes on the way). There was no shower aids like good soap or shampoo (there was liquid soap that wasn't look promising). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there, and felt that the hotel was a great selection, which was part of my successful visit to Berlin! Read more

ASTRID HOTEL half of the building is the hotel the right side , the other side are regular tenants.There was no shampoo or soap in the room ., but it didnt bother us because we always carry those items from home. The sheets were never changed just the cover was folded , That we know of the room was never cleaned but we didnt have any trash left behind,, […] the glasses in the bathroom were never cleaned I know that for a fact because I left them dirty on purpose and I found them in the same condition.The breakfast the generic european breakfast.. WI-FI in our room , tv just BBC and CNN in english, when you leave the hotel to your right the KU'DAM BLVD, Lets say you want to go to theKADEWE dept store you have to walk around 15 minutes to get to it..There is an elevator, huge room which was nice, window overlooking the street, quiet room.After all I mentioned I would go there again . This hotel was close to the subway and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the morning breakfast and the staff was very courteous to us. This is not a fancy hotel but since we spent very little time in our room, it met our needs. Our room was very quiet even though we had our windows open all night.

Hotel is in a lovely old building, and yes it's very creaky but in a nice lived in kind of way. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Room basic but clean and comfortable. I had a room on the from and wasn't bothered by traffic noise at all. Ett absolut ok hotell. Kort sagt: Man får vad man betalar för. Själv fick jag ett tyst rum mot gården. Och jag upplevde inte att gatan utanför var särskilt trafikerad heller. Och det fanns frukost! Gammelt og enkelt hotel. Hotellet virker rent og sevicen er upåklagelig. Vi fikk hjelp til alt vi ba om selv etter vi hadde skjekket ut. Rommet vi lå på var et dobbeltrom med separate senger. Hotellet har ett bra läge nära kommunikationer. Det är beläget i en äldre fastighet som består av både bostäder och hotellet. Hotellets reception är 1 trappa upp vilket är lite besvärligt med tanke på att det bara finns en liten, trång gammal hiss att tillgå i huset. Personalen var tillmötesgående överlag. Lite snål och trist frukostbuffé.

Gebucht wurde für vier Freunde ein familienzimmer. Im Endeffekt war es ein einziges Zimmer mit einem 140cm Doppelbett und zwei Sofas in die Ecken des Zimmers gestellt. Wir haben keine großen Ansprüche aber so war das nicht in Ordnung, das Familienzimmer der Homepage sah definitiv anders aus. Das Bad winzig so dass man kaum drinnen stehen kann um sich […] abzutrocknen. Das Frühstücksbüffet war klein, aber gut und reichlich ausgestattet. Das Hotel ist im Allgemeinen sehr gut für den Standort sind Sie in einer guten Gegend, aber guten Standard Frühstück. Es liegt in der Nähe der Bushaltestelle 109 zum Flughafen Tegel und hat die S-Bahn relativ nahe. Obwohl ein wenig Brüllen Etagen alles andere ist sehr gut.
