This quiet purpose-built resort marks the start of the Playa de Sotavento, a golden sandy beach that stretches for many miles, becoming picture-postcard perfect at neighbouring Risco del Paso. The beach may be less dramatic at this point but is has good facilities with sunshades, shops and a choice of beach bars close by. Windsurfing is very popular here with a school right in front of the hotels.

Das Hotel befindet sich nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt und hat somit eine tolle Lage. Der Strand ist traumhaft und man kann schöne Spaziergänge machen. Eine Bewertung zum Zustand und Sauberkeit des Hotels haben wir mit 3 abgebgeben, da a) bzgl. des Zustandes sicherlich Renovierungsbedarf / Erneuerungsbedarf besteht (Bewertung 3) b) mit der Sauberkeit waren wir aber sehr zufrieden (5). 5 Minuten bis zum Strand, ohne eine Straße überqueren zu müssen, allein das […] spricht schon für sich. Umgebung: nur eine 3 - liegt aber nicht am Hotel, sondern an der leider in Fuertaventure vorherrschende Mentalität, schnelles Geld zu verdienen und dabei die Insel immer mehr zu verschandeln (keine vernünftige Baupolitik, städtebauliche Planungen gleich null). Das Hotel liegt sehr nah am Strand und lässt sich zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.Das Personal ist freundlich und Hilfsbereit.Die Zimmerreinigung ist nicht so toll, da sollte dran gearbeitet werden. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Noi abbiamo soggiornato in qs struttura dal 30 giugno al 5 luglio 2011 in "appartamento vista mare" (304) ed in effetti la vista sull'oceano è molto piacevole. L'appartamento è stato pulito tutti i giorni ad eccezione, nel ns caso, della domenica con cambio di asciugamani a richiesta. La struttura è un po' vecchiotta e si nota dai pavimenti e dai servizi […] igienici del bagno ma confortevole. Il personale della reception è stato pronto ad offrire consigli e suggerimenti sui luoghi da visitare. Discorso a parte sul ristorante: noi abbiamo cenato qui due volte ma secondo noi occorrerebbe migliorare sia il buffet (un po' povero) sia il menu alla carte magari lasciando perdere la cucina "internazionale" e proporre cucina tradizionale. Infine una nota sulla località Costa Calma: non lasciatevi ingannare dal nome perchè il vento regna sovrano, continuativo e forte: non sappiamo se siamo stati sfortunati ma non abbiamo avuto neppure un giorno senza vento che porta anche nuvole.
