Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

Situated in Surrey, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Surrey is in the entertainment district and close to Guilford Town Centre. Additional area attractions include Red Robinson Show Theatre.

"Close to highway"
The room is clean and large. But the water outlet of the tub was not well functional. It took > 30min to let the water inside the tub to go way! Also the water in the hot-spa was very dirty. I think someone shampooed inside the hot-spa.

everything was as expected at this holiday inn ! same great and courtious service ! the unexpected was the view that we had from our room...! i was fabulous !! u would never expect that from a hotel next a buzy highway !!!!

Great all around hotel! Very comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast was very tasty!
"Great deal and Hotel but long drive to vancouver"
It was a great hotel, very clean, friendly helpful and courteous staff, but the drive was really longer that i imagined, maybe it was because of all the construction that was going on in highway 1 though. But overall a good room 4 a good price.

"great room for the money"
nice location with plenty of restaurants nearby as well as access to the highway.
"Outstanding Hotel"
We enjoyed our stay very mush. The breakfasts where outstanding.
"Mistakes"
These are probably one off mistakes, but still. We were in our room when the door opened and two people with their luggage walked in. The hotel had given them keys to our room. Then, of course, our keys no longer worked. So, went down to get keys that did and had to wait while they tried to figure out what they did wrong. Didn't feel too comfy there […] the second night. "Nothing to write home about...."
This hotel was okay, but nothing special. Location was quiet and reasonably close to our lessons. However we did have a problem with the vending machine. The pop was warm. When we told the night clerk he seemed really flustered but overall it was really a minor problem....
We had a very comfortable stay. Appreciated the hotel staff and the room was very comfortable. Were glad to have a room on the top floor as there were lots of happy hockey players and some of our friends staying on lower floors were not pleased with the hockey players parents partying till 2:00 A.M and being very noisy. The staff on duty was very friendly and even helped with guiding on places of interest and even printed driving directions.

Upon arrival the staff were very courteous and friendly, the room was quite spacious and clean, while the rest of the hotel was maintained in great condition. The complimentary breakfast buffet was quite nice, offering a variety of hot and cold items. The location was a decent drive to Vancouver, convenient since it was located right off the highway […] and compared to hotels in Vancouver the price as well as the free parking were quite beneficial.
