"Comfort and a warm fireplace"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We had been having a lot of rain and really just wanted to go home! But upon checking into The Hotel, we were so comforted by the staff, especially Tasha and her tour of the lovely amenities. She served us drinks and made us comfortable in front of the warm fireplace and we said "Ahhh". The room was large with a lovely view, the bed very comfortable and the dinner superb. The staff did everything they could to make our stay wonderful, thanks, we'll be back!
"Nice Place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The Hotel was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was free in the lobby. It was a short walk from where the airport bus dropped us off and shopping/restaurants. Most of the tourist spots are a bit farther, but still very walkable.
"Good Value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The Ardmore is a clean, modern hotel that has power showers and staff that are friendly. The food served is well prepared and affordable. For the money it can't be beat, but if you want nice pillows, soft towels& cozy bedding then you should spend the extra money to get them. Those of us who prefer value over the little "extras" would love this hotel. The 15 minute bus ride into downtown wasn't bad unless you JUST missed the bus and have to wait another twenty minutes to get on. It is a great location for a first night into Dublin or your last because it is only 15 minutes to the airport!
"Wonderful hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The westbury is a great hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to Dublin soon!

"Fantastic, friendly service. Very comfy bed"
As with most rooms in Dublin this was small but nice. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nicer, larger than comparable rooms in Dublin. Breakfast was tasty. We would stay here again.
"Good enoughh"
Friendly and great breakfast. A bit noisy as the building is older with no elevator Great location, 5 minute walk to anywhere you want to go.
"Kilronan House - near St Stephens Green"
Charming and helpful staff, comfortable bed, pretty breakfast room and all close to the concert hall, St Stephens Green and the pick up point for Mary Gibbon's Tour of Newgrange (in front of the Shelbourne Hotel). Shopping nearby great especially Project 51 on S. Williams St.
"Kilronan House, Dublin, quiet yet close to sights"
Good value accomodation. It was a nice quiet location, with a few restaurants in the area. It was about a 15 minute walk to St Stephens Square, and Grafton Street. There was a good Irish breakfast included with the room. The room we were in did need a little maintenence work - the shower dripped, and the handle was missing from the main window in […] the room. But the room was clean and larger than many others we stayed in while Ireland. So we would still strongly recommend this hotel to others visiting Dublin. Read more

"Great Location/Warm Welcome"
Great walking distance to St Stevens Green, Temple Bar, Trinity Collage, ect. Only wish the current block would have had a little pub, after walking others in our group back to room, would be nice to have pub with in this block. The Reception staff were so unbelievably warm and welcoming; made you feel like family. Shared computer for internet access, […] offered irish coffee saturday night, very helpful making arrangements for tours. Breakfast was full irish, with smoked salmon, YUMMY! Read more
"Kilronan House - a good base for exploring Dublin"
10 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green and Hop On/Hop Off Tour Buses, 15 to Grafton St., 20 to Trinity College. Located in nice, leafy, quiet neighbourhood. Small hotel - helpful staff, great breakfasts.
"Bestg Value in Dublin!"
If you want a friendly staff, good location, and value for your dollar, Kilronan House is the best place to stay in Dublin! I travelled alone (56 year old woman with knee problems), was warmly greeted and assisted in my car rental return, my luggage carried to the top floor, and felt comfortable and at home immediately. I cannot say enough about Cormac […] and Ann! This property is within easy walking distance of St. Stephen's Green and all that you want to do in this lovely city. I'm going back! Read more
"Good Dublin location"
A nice B&B with comfy beds, helpful staff, nice breakfast, a few offstreet parking spots, and a good location--we toured major sights in Dublin by foot, trolley, or bus. Far enough away from the Temple Bar district for a good night's sleep, but walking distance to get there. A good value for sure. If you're driving, be aware that Adelaide Road is a […] one way street, and the building numbers aren't consecutive! Read more
Friendly / efficient staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Only negative was no lift so we had to haul up our luggage two floors. Bed was really hard. Otherwise very happy with our stay.
"hotel in Dublin"
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a 5 minute walk to St. Stephens Green and about a 20 minute walk to the Tourist information center where you could pick up any information you needed. We were on the top floor which may have been the 5th floor and you have to walk up stairs, so if you are someone that can't navigate stairs, this […] is not the place for you. GREAT BREAKFAST! I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. found the people at the desk very helpful and friendly. the breakfast was excellent. only wish the shower was better
"Great offer"
The breakfast where almost worth the price itself. The staff where very helpful, and they even made us sandwich if we didn't reach the breakfast. It seemed a bit far from downtown, but it was no problem to walk, and the busses went all the time. The room was okay, but the bed where a bit hard. Free tea and biscuits on the room is a big plus! Would […] absolutly recommend this B&B! Read more
"Very Central B&B"
The service was very welcoming and made you feel very comfortable. Breakfast was great with fantastic options. The location is perfect, in a really lovely area and so close to the centre. The room could be amazing. It has so much potential but was let down by a feeling of clutter and no thought to the overall decor of the room. It had high ceilings […] and wonderful old features and with a bit more thought could be amazing. The ensuite was functional but old. The room was comfortable and I would stay again - I would just love to get my hands on the place to do it up to a higher standard to make the most of its features. Read more
"Great Stay!!"
\my Sister and i, ages 53-58, enjoyed the hotel. hotel room was clean, comfortable and appealing to the eye. The staff could not have been any nicer. A great location for seeing Dublin city center! We walked everywhere. Very safe. Great Stay. hope to return!
"Nice staff, good location - hotel room just okay"
We stayed just for one night and booked late - probably got one of the last rooms, as we had to walk up 3 high floors. The room under the roof was quiet and to the back, the beds rather comfortable, and it was clean. But overall, bath and bedroom, also furniture, had seen better days. Well, it is also an old house. Staff is nice, though, and make effort […] with breakfast. Friendly atmosphere. But we expected more, after reading some glamourous reviews and looked at great website. Read more
"lovely but a little noisy"
Had a lovely stay, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Even got me a comb when I forgot my brush. Our room was right beside the kitchen and the dining room. So was pretty noisy in the morning but. We got a special deal so I guess we couldn't expect a great room, other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.
"perfect location for strolling around Dublin"
a warm welcome, informal yet professional, a lovely comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast delightful!
"Kilronan house.. Fantastic all round accommodation"
Stayed here for one night midweek, and was so pleasantly surprised! This hotel has it all, location, comfort & staff could not be friendlier! We were so happy will definitely return. We walked to Stephens green in 10mins, and walked home, it's so direct. Breakfast was amazing, we were given a menu! And the dining room is really cosy & welcoming. "KILROAN HOUSE WHAT A DELIGHT"
HAVIN STAYED IN THIS HOUSE AS RECENTLY AS TUESDAY 15TH NOV 2011. I CAN HONESTLY SAY IL B BACK. I STAYED HERE AS I HAD AN APPOINTMENT IN THE ROYAL EYE AND EAR HOSPITAL EARLY THE FOLLOWING MORNING. THE HOSPITAL WAS A 5MIN WALK FROM HERE SO WAS IDEAL.. HAVING NEVER BEEN TO THIS SIDE OF DUBLIN IT WAS A FIRST FOR ME THIS HOUSE IS IDEALLY LOCATED TOWARDS […] THE ST. STEPHENS GREEN AND GRAFTONM STREET BUT IT IS ALSO AN IDEAL PLACE FOR A GOOD NITES SLEEP. AS I EXPLAINED I HAD AN EARLY APPOINTMENT THE FOLLOWING MORNING SO WAS UNABLE TO AVAIL OF THE BREAKFAST SERVICE. AS IT STARTS FROM 7.30AM . BUT IL B BACK NEXT TIME TO AVAIL OF IT. I FOUND THE FRENCH GIRL ON RECEPTION TO BE VERY HELPFUL AS WHEN I ARRIVED I WAS GIVEN COMPLIMENTARY TEA AN BISCUITS. I THEN ASKED WHERE THE NEAREST PLACE TO EAT OUT WAS AND SHE KINDLY TOLD ME EVEN GOIN SO FAR AS TO GIVE ME MAP AND MARK OUT THE DIRECTIONS. SO I HOPE TO BE BACK AGAIN SOMETIME IN JANUARY. THE SALES TIME HA HA . SO IF IN DUBLIN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COSY LITTLE SPOT. Read more
"Kilronan House _ A lovely place to stay"

"Kilronan House-comfort in the centre of Dublin"
Nice hotel on a quiet street near Stephens Green, excellent location, very helpful staff, when we had a problem with our room we were moved immediately. Breakfast good but the coffee could be better.
"Can be noisy was a bit shabby"
Stayed in a top level room that was facing the street and unfortunately the traffic noise was pretty constant. I was given the choice of another room on check-in but foolishly didn't take it. The mattress was soft and uncomfortable and the bathroom was smelly ( but clean ). I didn't mention this to the staff as I thought that they wouldn't be able to […] move me. My part of the hotel (no 68, it seems to consist of three adjacent houses ) was a bit shabby and smelt of cats or dogs, though it was probably something else as I didn't see any knocking about. Couldn't get broadband from my room or my part of the hotel was able to get it from the main/reception part (no 70). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I would probably stay there again but not if I had a room facing the street. The hotel was full up and I didn't hear anyone complaining so maybe I got the short straw this time Read more
"Friendliness and warmth"
Friendliness and warmth is how i would discribe the staf. On arrival we got a cup of tea and a biscuit. The hotel rooms while older than the chains are clean and comfortable. The Breakfast was supberb. it was also nice to have to have the buffet, Food was served fresh and the wait staff while usy were very egar to meet your needs in terms of the menu. […] The location is perfect only a 10 min walk from st stephens green- great base for dublin- we will be back Read more
"Fantastic!"
The hotel is old and a bit rundown, but I have never come across friendlier hotel staff, or a better deal! The location is excellent - only 10 mins from Grafton Street, and the breakfast isn't your usual nasty hotel buffet, you actually get to choose from a limited a la carte menu... we were really stoked with the whole experience. Recommended!
"Hotel Kilronan"
Nydelig hotell.

Read more

"Hyggeligt lille hotel i pænt kvarter"
"Cosy guesthouse in Dublin"
Kilronan house is an ideal place to stay for those who appreciate friendly staff, quiet surrounding, reasonable pricing, good breakfast, clean rooms and wonderfully old-fashioned atmosphere. Would definately choose to stay in this place again if I decided to re-visit Dublin!
Read more
