Of the hotels in Wildwood this was on the nicer side. Room was very nice and super clean. The couple who runs the hotel was friendly and helpful. Didn't use the pool but by the looks of it that too was well maintain.

It's highly recommended place to stay. The motel price is reasonable. The staff receptionist is pleasant & amiable. The room is clean & comfortable for the whole family. It's walking distance to the boardwalk & amusement park where my kids really had a great time.

This place was great! Walked into room it was big, had a nice couch, pots and pans. Cups, plates, fridge, stove and was all very clean. Outside they had grills you can use and a nice pool. Staff was friendly and everything. I've stated in hotels and paid 3 times as much for far less. Will go back next summer for sure!

Its nice to see some things remain the same. The Classic Lollipop Motel in N. Wikdwood NJ, It Still has its orginal 50s Do Wap Look ! Although you can deffinately see they maintain, And renevate the place. Room was nice and clean with plenty of towels. Kitchenette had everything needed. Nice big refrigerator a big plus. The only negatives one lampshade […] torn on the inside. But since ther condo owned. Its really mot mgmts fault A little chipped paint on the outside. No big deal. Very close to the beach. And Mgmt very polite and helpfull with area questions. Nice deep and very clean pool as well. All in all a very nice, Comfortable stay. I would frecomend this hotel without questions to families. Hard to maneuver suitcases to 3rd floor without an elevator. Hard to regulate air conditioning--chilly and noisy when on. Housekeeping fair. Close to boardwalk and easy to find. Very Pleasant front office.

Dirty unkept pool was full of bugs and cloudy railings needed painting and the office and area surrounding the pool reeked of cigarettes the couchee was too uncomfortable to sit on and watch tv.

Enjoyed our stay, but room was pretty small. Televisions were tiny. Fortunately, we didn't spend much time in the room beyond sleeping, so it worked out. Everything was clean and tidy, kitchenette equipped with the basics, but certainly no luxuries. A good way to economize if you're not planning to lounge around in your room.

It seemed real nice at first glance. There was a cookie behind the pull out sofa bed. And you could see some scraps of paper / food under the beds. The Microwave did not work properly.

Very nice owners, but the hotel is very old and outdated. The owners do the best they can with what they have. The pool is great. The location is great, but this is not a home-away-from home type hotel.

The room was cleaned every day and even our kids blankets were folded and their stuffed animals were placed nicely around the bed. We always had extra towels, blankets, and pillows. The Lollipop is a great value. It's in a good location, very close to the boardwalk and beach, and the rooms are well-appointed. Very clean. Older furniture. Could use better mattresses. Staff was quite polite. Piggyback parking is a little inconvenient. Close to the north end of the boardwalk. Even basic room has kitchenette and full size refrigerator. Nice pool and gas grilles. Would stay here again.

I should not have been surprised that the motel was shop worn as it is clearly dated. While clean, it was lacking in anything but the bare minimum. There was not even heat! Unless you intended to spend every minute of your stay out of your room and on the Wildwood boardwalk, I would not recommend this motel.

Bed was 2 small for 2 people. refrigerator was rust bucket (but worked). and the ceiling had some pealing paint. The motel is nice on the outside and very pleasant staff.

When we arrive at the hotel early. We were told we could park but not use the pool until we checked in. When we got our assigned room we were looking out at a brick wall. I asked to see if we could change to a room with a view, I was told they were booked. Then why was the vacancy sign on? Although the room was clean, I agreed with the other guests […] that the pull out couch sucked. I was sleeping on springs and the light from outside the illuminated the room as if it was daylight at 10:00pm at night. Brighter than it was during the day. All room are suppose to have coffee makers better ask cause there was none. Excuse prior guest must have taken it. We complained that the ceilng fan was not working - no one came. My son fixed it. Our vehicle was parked on the line, we had to move 1/2 inch over so that their family had a place to park. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Had not been in North Wildwood in years. Very nice, clean neighborhood. The hotel two room suite was perfect and the pool was very nice. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Walking distance to boardwalk and places to eat. All in all, a good stay. Parking was a little tight, but worked out fine.

the hotel is very nice and close to everything, I stayed for three days, but the maid only went to two days to change towels and I run out on the third day, the ice machine was broken and not fixed quickly,the pool sign said is open from 10 am to 8 pm but they begin cleaning at 10 am to 11:30 am disturbed me the routine i plan to do

The location was fine however the motel was very old and dirty. Our view was a 3 ft pile of dirty sheets , towels and blankets. We stayed for 5 days and the pile never moved. When we walked in our room I steped on a nail sticking out of the carpet .

Although the room itself was clean, the outside was never cleaned. We had the same used bandaide, papers and dirt around our doorway on Friday from the day we arrived on Monday. I watched a guest hose off the pool deck on Thursday. We had to ask for wash clothes for the first three days. There are three grills for guests to use but one had no propane […] all week. Grill utensils were not provided in every room so bring your own. It's a good blocks from the boardwalk, plus another block and 1/2 to the beach so it was a tough walk in the heat carrying chairs, umbrella and the usual stuff. The motel was clean and within a short walk to the beach.The couple who run the motel were pleasant and helpful with any questions I had as far as local stores, wristbands for the rides on the pier(which they sell there for about 7 dollars cheaper than on the pier).
