"Well Maintained Property, improving still"

BlueGreen took over the property from InnSeason (a regional vacation property developer) almost two years ago. Major renovation is going on, including a complete new building. The property as is is in great shape (the other time I stayed was almost ten years ago). The spacious KIng 1-BR unit I stayed in had a nice kitchen (JennAir range and convection oven!) but the sofa bed had a new mattress (full) too small for the frame (queen-size; management said that they are changing over to new leather sofabeds and the old sofa in the room needed a new mattress, hence the mismatch). Overall, the room is very nice. The free WIFI is superfast. While there is no food service on-site, Flapjack is right across the road for great breakfasts. The only issue was that sound-insulation for the floor/ceiling needs improvement - we received a call from front deck because some guest below us complained about noises (probably from my kids running around our room - not excessively). Management again said work was on the way to improve sound insulation. One BIG improvement to come: a resort-guest-only ski lift that will access Loon Mountain's expanding South Peak (in 2 years?) right next to the hotel (which is about 5 minutes to Loon Mountain's main lodge). Stay tuned!! One thing i do miss is the free shuttle service to Loon Mountain (which they used to have). Regardless, I think Blue Green Resorts is doing a great job improving the property.

Went away for a couple of days of R&R to ski. Found this place through American Express rewards points. It's awesome. I got the King suite, 2 huge rooms with kitchen and two bathrooms. In room hot tub and the resort staff was so helpful. The concierge helped me book lift tickets and recommended a great place to eat. The woman working the front desk, I think her name was Jess, was so welcoming and friendly. It was quiet in the resort, don't know if it was because I was here mid-week but I would def. Come back.
"A Stellar Property"

This is a beautiful Bluegreen property. We stayed in a two bedroom, which was very spacious and clean, with a den off the living room and a full kltchen. The bathrooms were nicely appointed with higher end fixtures than we were expecting to see. The pool area has a two level hot tub with changing colored lights in the water. There is also a game room with several video games. The one improvement I would suggest would be to add in unit washer/dryers. There is only one washer dryer in the entire resort.

We spent a week at South Mountain Resort past the best of the fall colors, but found a great deal to compensate for them. Our one bedroom, two bath unit was spacious and comfortable, with an over-sized island work space in the open kitchen, a large master bedroom with jacuzzi tub and very comfortable king size bed.The unit provided all the amenities and supplies we could possibly need for our week. The staff could not have been more accommodating in responding to our every need. The Resort is set back from the main street, but there was no traffic noise, nor were we inconvenienced in the least by the construction of a new wing going on at the Resort. Being close to the main street afforded proximity to a grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store and a number of restaurants, all within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the Gypsy Cafe for lunch and the Texas Toast Eatery for breakfast. We enjoyed the resort pool and two level hot tub early every morning, and basically had them to ourselves as this was off-season in late October. The nearby Visitors' Center proved most helpful and helped us select three mountain hiking trails from the myriad of ones available in the area. The trails are well maintained, some for every fitness level, and reserve pleasant surprises such as waterfalls, gorges, and other geological wonders for the hikers. We came to this activity very much as novices and were pleasantly surprised that we could easily negotiate the trails that were suggested; we were particularly taken with the Flume Gorge. The drives in any direction around Lincoln are quite scenic. Although we had an outing every day, we only managed to partake of a fraction of the trails and other attractions in nearby towns, so have vowed to return.
"Great place to stay in a fabulous area for lots to do and see."

As Bluegreen owners wanting a place to stay to be able to sight see in both NH and ME, this was a perfect location and a very accomodating resort. We couldn't have had better service and attention to details with our reservations. They are in process of renovating sections of the rooms, but we were not disturbed in anyway. The outdoor and indoor pools and hot tubs were all nice. There is no wifi in the rooms as yet; but ii is available in their lobby and library. Laundry facilities were on top floor, but with an elevator, it was not an inconvenience. Kitchen was ample and huge master and bath. Had two-one bedroom units and when all 8 of us got together in one unit we weren't "stuffed" in the living area. Location was in walking distance to grocery/shopping areas. We will return to this resort in the future as there were so many fun things to do. The bike ride at Fraconia Notch State Park where The Flume is located is a definite repeat. The Flume and the Cannon mtn tram ride are also repeats. The falls, covered bridge along the Kancamagus Hwy were worth the time. The drive from Lincoln up Rte 3 to 115 to 2 to Gorham and 16 to N. Conway and Conway (great shopping in Gorham and N. Conway!) was very scenic and easy. We liked Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill, NH, with a spectacular view of the Presidential range in the White Mtns. Had a fabulous breakfast at the Belmont Restaurant in Manchester, NH and the sharpest waitress you could ever find...she had to have been in her 70's easily but didn't write down a single order got all 9 of us correct orders! We'll be back there! Also ate at The Lobster Trap in N. Conway, NH. Don't forget to do Gifford's ice cream who have so many delicious flavors to choose from! The Northland restaurant in Berlin (a little N. of Gorham) is worth a visit. Skip Elviros pizza in Lincoln. Lots more to do which we didn't have time to do. Just in our week between NH and ME, we drove 1,162 mis! It was all a wonderful time!

We stayed there for 2 nights for fall colors (White mountains-NH). Rooms are clean and in good condition.I will stay there if i need to during next visit. Lot of places nearby to eat and there's also a liquor store nearby. Hotel has a heated indoor pool as well a outside pool(not open during all seasons).
"Wish we were there!"

We stayed in late April/early May. This was the "off" season, so some of the area attractions were closed, but it did not keep us from having a wonderful time! We had a very large, very comfortable 1 bedroom/ 2 bath unit with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, ceiling fans, fireplace, 2 tvs & a jacuzzi. The hallways were a bit long and awkward, but the room was great. The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect. No need to worry about safety: the police station is literally next door. We love just driving through the mountains and along the Kanc highway, seeking out covered bridges, waterfalls (many are easy to walk to), glimpses of wildlife, and soaking up local flavor. Make sure to eat at The Common Man for a meal that is anything but common!
"Wow, great location, friendly people, great villas, more than just a room!"

This is our second year staying at this resort., we love it here! Just wait until the new addition is finished and the other villas are all redone. The library has a wood burning fire place, each villa also has a fireplace. The people here are super professional and very nice. This is a real gem!
"August in Lincoln, NH"

Comfortable resort in Lincoln, NH. Walking distance to shops and restaurants with a variety of options. We had a 1 bedroom 2 bath rooms. Very comfortable and convenient. Well provisioned kitchen to eat in if. That is your desire. Walk to the Price Chopper grocery store for supplies. Travelled to a number of destinations including Franconia State Park and the Lost River. But numerous other excursions- moose watching, hiking, zip line, water park, etc. For shopping - places in Lincoln and Littleton close at 5:30pm. Restaurants are open, but no shopping. Limited laundry- 1 washer and 1 dryer. Wi-Fi only in the lobby and sketchy at times for now. Fitness room is dated. I was working out one day and preview clients were on a tour and the salesperson said they had the "latest equipment"... Yes, if you are in the 1960s and you are talking about a universal machine!! I did not laugh out loud when I heard the statement, though I did make a contorted face.
"Great location and accommodations"

Located right at the main street, you can go anywhere from there and come back without a GPS. The hotel is really quiet and the rooms are perfect for a long stay, specially if youre looking forward to save some money cooking at the hotel, they have everything you need. Next time Im definitely bringing my own food and forgetting about restaurants, etc, and spending more time out in the nature. Wish I could go back every weekend.
