"Great value near Loon"

Don't book on the website, call the main line at 800.456.0009. Got a 1br for two nights and we had plenty of space for us and the kids (2). Kitchen was well equipped, the king bed comfy and the bathroom clean. TV was flat panel and pretty big. Pull out couch was nice, even comfy. All in, great location and value ($150 per night). Would repeat if coming back to Loon. Only things you should be aware of: indoor pool is not really warm. The hot tubs were nice. Bring your own pillow. The showers are on the small side. Bring an hdmi converter so you can watch your iPad on the TV (netflix). Tried the Black Mountain Burger Company. Fantastic family eating. Plus two beers and tip = $65. Also went to Flapjacks Pancakes across the street. You will NOT be disappointed. Best pancakes. I will detour here for breakfast in the future. Our service was not awesome today due to short staffed, but the food is worth the trip.

We recently exchanged our timeshare from our home resort to South Mountain. Had not been to the area in a very long time. The resort is very nice and the staff was wonderful. We had the misfortune of being there when the town had a water main break that impacted the entire area. The resort staff was very helpful in ensuring we had water to flush the toilets and for drinking. Once the water was back on later in the day they informed us of the status. This could have been a lot worse but they made it easy for us. Of course one had to be patient and understanding that this was not something anyone could have avoided, it happens. The one downside to the resort is the number of plates, silverware provided. We had read that in prior reviews too so we were prepared with paper and plastic that we brought with us. It would be so much more helpful if they provided a full service for 8. At least you could get two meals complete if you have 4 people which we did. We will be back!

We stayed at the resort this past weekend and the water main broke downtown which caused us to be out of water for the entire day. When we asked staff when it would be fix we got negative Idk answers. The Superbowl was on during this day my husband and I went to a local pub to watch the game and when we came back our room was flooded because the water came back on and the hotel failed to contact us. The maintenance man was extremely rude when we asked what the damage was and told us we were probably going to have to pay thousands of dollars because the leak went through 2 floors. I called the front desk and explained the situation and all she said was you will have to wait for management to get here tomorrow. My husband and I didn't sleep at all that night thinking about what was going to happen. We checked out nothing was mentioned about the leak we get home and the manager cause to let us know we wont be charged when ever the power/water goes out the hotel is liable for damage and that our unit wasn't the only one that happened. It was nice of the manager to call us to let us know but if one of the other employees have just told us that it we would have been able to enjoy the rest of our night. Most of the employees seem like they are just collecting a pay check. They have no hospitality and did not make us feel welcomed. Plus there is no restaurants in this resort and the spa is literally just a hot tub. The rooms are gorgeous but we don't vacation to stay in the room..
"Great Accommodations for the $ "

Great room recently re decorated, gas fireplace, Jacuzzi, smells brand-new inside, up on the fourth floor, 150 per night? Short money for this nice place. Of course they want to sell us timeshare but did not bother us about it. But You could probably get a good deal as there's a monster time share being built right next-door

We arrived to celebrate Christmas on 12/24/2014 at South Mountain Resort and were blown away by the beautiful accommodations. We were given two one bedroom suites (connecting) with beautiful kitchens, comfortable beds, gas fireplaces and a great soaking tub. This was more than a family of 4 needed for space but it made our Christmas even more special. We have planned to go back on February break. We wanted to extend our stay but it got tricky because of how you reserve accommodations at the resort. The front desk although very nice and tried to be helpful could not help us reserve a room. We called Blue Green Vacation rentals but they told us that they couldn't secure the same room and our family would have to pack up and go to another room. With all the ski stuff and Christmas Gifts I only wanted to pack 1x so we headed home. We booked for the end of February and I'm a little nervous because we had such wonderful accommodations the 1st time, I'm hoping the same for February. There are dramatically different rates depending on where you book so be careful and shop around. For the same room my sister booked at $276, per night and I booked for $183. Fingers and toes crossed...
Booked through Choice/Ascend Group. The physical hotel is lovely and employees friendly. We stayed in a recently remodeled 2 bedroom 3 bath with a full kitchen which was perfect for my family. The hotel did not offer any in-house activities to participate in but was very helpful in directing you to activities around the area. My kids are use to resorts offering activities to participate in on property as well as off. We snowboarded at Loon and Cranmore and the drive to Cranmore was beautiful.

We stayed here in early June and left the Friday when ALL summer local attractions were opening up. We really enjoyed walking the strip the hotel is located on and shopping and dining. We rented bikes from a bike/ski shop and road along a nice bike trail over to Loon mountain. We drove to Mount Washington and drove to the top... Scary but well worth it. There is a national weather station on top worth seeing and a gift shop, deli, restrooms and post office. Flume Gorge is a must visit! The scenery and views in the area alone are worth the trip! We had a nice, clean room with a kitchenette. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We would go again.

Just returned from a 5 day stay. The weather was not the greatest but can't control that. We stayed in a 2 BR 3 Ba unit which was very spacious for 4 people. The resort staff were GREAT! Cannot remember all their names but everyone from the front desk, to sales staff to housekeeping were very welcoming and accommodating. Loon Mountain is literally right behind the hotel so access to the slopes is perfect. Other than skiing, there are limited activities in the wintertime and a lot of the businesses were closed for the season or for the holidays. Because of the rain, snowmobiling or snowtubing was not an option. Summer or fall would probably offer more outdoor options. We would definitely love to try this resort again.
"Good hotel in beautiful location"

This was hotel #3 (out of 5) on our trip round New England. It probably ranked at the plushest hotel , though – what we didn’t realise when we booked – was that it was a timeshare hotel . The room was lovely and large, with a little dining table as this hotel did not offer breakfast. When we arrived the room was cold but a maintenance man came quickly to fix this – in fact it was too hot when we woke up the next morning. We used the free laundry (great facility!). There was a shopping mall attached to the hotel, but this either had restaurants closed for the season or empty shops. A little further away, there was a supermarket, from where we bought breakfast goods. We found eating out in Lincoln more expensive than where we’d been previously, but the scenery round and about was beautiful.
"Super Location for touring White Moountains"

A Timeshare complex, but offering superb accommodation as a Hotel, with excellent amenities. Rooms are huge, with fully fitted kitchen, lounge area, spa bath and large shower cubicle. Plenty of off site food establishments and a supermarket. Quiet in early October. Scenery around the area is stunning.
