"Fun winter getaway!"

We spent Thanksgiving vacation in one of the condos. It was very central to everything we did which was great! The room was nice and clean and although there were four of us, it could have slept 6. The kitchen was a little small, but we didn't use it too much. The only big problem I had was with the laundry facilities. I wanted to run our snow gear through the dryer so it would be ready for the next day and I couldn't get into the laundry room. I called the front desk and they sent someone who couldn't get in either. It was a little noisy since we were near the stairs, but not too bad. :( Despite that we would probably stay again
"Beautiful and romantic!"

My favorite bluegreen property! This location definitely has a great ambience about it. The hot tub is so romantic! You have to check that out. Beautiful trip in the summer and beautiful bluegreen as always! If you're lucky enough to get a room with the tub room, as we had, it couldn't get more romantic than that. The tub has its own room with windows overlooking the scenery. Definitely request this room!

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and fully updated beautiful rooms. Wonderful location close to downtown. Nice indoor pool. Family friendly or great for couples (stayed back in December as a couple and have our 2 year old this time). Definitely recommend this place!
"Nice place, with two exceptions"
The hotel was lovely in many ways. We were in the renovated section. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. Two things other travelers should know that I did not see mentioned in other reviews: 1) the walls are incredibly thin. We could hear our neighbors on both sides, even the couple that was just talking next to us. The couple with the tantruming child on the other side was particularly problematic, for obvious reasons. It honestly sounded as if they were in our room at times. The thinness of the walls will give me pause about returning. 2) after checking in, we were sent over to a "concierge" desk and told that we had to have parking pass hand written for us. Why a parking pass and why couldn't the front desk give it to us, you might ask (as we did)? Turns out it was actually marketing ruse in which we were the forced to listen to the "concierge" try to push a time share deal, wherein we participate in a 90-minute marketing tour in exchange for a reduced hotel rate. Not really what I wanted to be doing after driving several hours to get here, and the deception left a yucky taste in my mouth.

Beautiful facility with lovely furnishings. Last minute business overnight. Had a suite, with one bedroom. Fireplace, granite counters in well appointed, good sized kitchen. Huge tub with huge shower with rainfall shower head - all very lush and romantic. Noise from other suites was quite loud but once in my bedroom with door closed I couldn't hear them anymore, so I didn't complain. Liked that my bedroom door locked in addition to the suite door. Traveling alone that's always a plus. Comfortable and attractive.

This was my second visit to this resort just as a personal R&R, away from this horrible New England winter. OMG!! totally loved it! It was clean and comfortable and spacious. I had a 1 bedroom and a studio and it was just perfect. I love this resort because I enjoy the simple pleasure of soaking in a deep tub or whirlpool, very important therapy after shoveling so much snow. They have Bath and Body Works products, which I love. Concierge is very attentive to your needs. Very welcoming and safe.
"Great value near Loon"

Don't book on the website, call the main line at 800.456.0009. Got a 1br for two nights and we had plenty of space for us and the kids (2). Kitchen was well equipped, the king bed comfy and the bathroom clean. TV was flat panel and pretty big. Pull out couch was nice, even comfy. All in, great location and value ($150 per night). Would repeat if coming back to Loon. Only things you should be aware of: indoor pool is not really warm. The hot tubs were nice. Bring your own pillow. The showers are on the small side. Bring an hdmi converter so you can watch your iPad on the TV (netflix). Tried the Black Mountain Burger Company. Fantastic family eating. Plus two beers and tip = $65. Also went to Flapjacks Pancakes across the street. You will NOT be disappointed. Best pancakes. I will detour here for breakfast in the future. Our service was not awesome today due to short staffed, but the food is worth the trip.
"Very Nice Getaway!"

We recently exchanged our timeshare from our home resort to South Mountain. Had not been to the area in a very long time. The resort is very nice and the staff was wonderful. We had the misfortune of being there when the town had a water main break that impacted the entire area. The resort staff was very helpful in ensuring we had water to flush the toilets and for drinking. Once the water was back on later in the day they informed us of the status. This could have been a lot worse but they made it easy for us. Of course one had to be patient and understanding that this was not something anyone could have avoided, it happens. The one downside to the resort is the number of plates, silverware provided. We had read that in prior reviews too so we were prepared with paper and plastic that we brought with us. It would be so much more helpful if they provided a full service for 8. At least you could get two meals complete if you have 4 people which we did. We will be back!

We stayed at the resort this past weekend and the water main broke downtown which caused us to be out of water for the entire day. When we asked staff when it would be fix we got negative Idk answers. The Superbowl was on during this day my husband and I went to a local pub to watch the game and when we came back our room was flooded because the water came back on and the hotel failed to contact us. The maintenance man was extremely rude when we asked what the damage was and told us we were probably going to have to pay thousands of dollars because the leak went through 2 floors. I called the front desk and explained the situation and all she said was you will have to wait for management to get here tomorrow. My husband and I didn't sleep at all that night thinking about what was going to happen. We checked out nothing was mentioned about the leak we get home and the manager cause to let us know we wont be charged when ever the power/water goes out the hotel is liable for damage and that our unit wasn't the only one that happened. It was nice of the manager to call us to let us know but if one of the other employees have just told us that it we would have been able to enjoy the rest of our night. Most of the employees seem like they are just collecting a pay check. They have no hospitality and did not make us feel welcomed. Plus there is no restaurants in this resort and the spa is literally just a hot tub. The rooms are gorgeous but we don't vacation to stay in the room..
"Great Accommodations for the $ "

Great room recently re decorated, gas fireplace, Jacuzzi, smells brand-new inside, up on the fourth floor, 150 per night? Short money for this nice place. Of course they want to sell us timeshare but did not bother us about it. But You could probably get a good deal as there's a monster time share being built right next-door
