We were celebrating our anniversary & a friend of ours knew we were staying as guest at this hotel & dropped off chocolates on Friday for our arrival on Sunday. We never rec'd the chocolates at check in so we called the hotel after our friend asked if we enjoyed them. My wife and I enjoyed the character of the decor and liked some of the artwork. Additionally, the lay-out of the hotel was simple and direct with short walks. Moreover, the price was competitive. However, my wife and I would have liked to have had an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The breakfast and lounge area could have benefitted from daily cleaning […] of the floors and tables. The most significant concern for my wife was the lack of sound insulation and door gaskets into the room form the hallway and the next room. My wife had two nights of restless sleep and worried thoughts about the cafre of the children in the next room. I could not convince her to set aside her mother's natural instincts. Read more

Where do I begin? The first or second room? The first room was on the second floor. As soon as other people arrived in their room above us, we could hear everywhere they walked; through our whole room. Paper thin ceiling. The hotel employee graciously put us on the third floor (the highest) and as soon as people arrived in the room beside us, we could […] almost hear every normal conversation and television. We spent a restiess night with this. They went to bed at 11:00 p.m. We could hear this also. Paper thin walls. We were supposed to stay two nights but left the next morning to reserve another hotel in Frankenmuth. This is the first (and last) time I will ever stay here. The nightly price was very much above average and the conditions were deplorable. We stayed at another hotel the next night and it was great and at half the price. Surprisingly, it was at the Fairfield Marriott in Frankenmuth which we have stayed at before. I just can't get over a Mariott with these kind of rooms. Read more

We spent our 51st Wedding Anniversary night at the hotel. We were glad to have a small refrigerator, as we could not eat all of our dinner. The room was quiet -- good for sleeping. The only complaint that we have is our king size bed was very, very soft. So much so that my husband's back went out later on our departure date. This was after staying 3 nights. We were very surprised as Marriott prides themselves on their beds and bedding.

This hotel located in the heart of Frankenmuth, MI was very nice. The room is designed like a suite with separate areas for a sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and a bar. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub, gym and the breakfast. The location was great .....within walking distance of restaurants and attractions.

I would stay there again! The breakfast buffet is not super fancy but it gives you quite a bit of choice. The hotel is in the middle of Frankenmuth, perfect location.

Not only was it clean and lovely, because it's a "suite", the room is partially divided and we could put our toddler to bed and still watch TV. It's right in the heart of downtown, has a passable hot breakfast, and compared with a lot of the local hotels, very affordable.

I had stayed at this hotel a year ago and really loved it. It is conveniently located near the tourist area. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants. A year ago I stayed here while my son attended a nearby football camp. I worked in my room during the day while he was at camp. Quiet and condusive to work environment. I requested a late afternoon checkout. […] They were able to accommodate my request and charged only a modest additional fee. That was GREATLY appreciated since I needed to work past normal checkout time until my son was finished with his camp. The people were very friendly on both visits. It was great to be able to get a room for five people on such short notice over the Christmas vacation time. The family suite was a wonderful room for a couple with two teenagers and a ten-year-old. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for a shower. The kids enjoyed the pool - although the oldest said that the water was a little […] cool. They loved the hot tub as well.
