Our stay was great until our last day 4/30/12 Monday morning there was no hot water. I told the front desk and was not offered any options. A free notes stay or offer to shower in another room would have been appreciated. There were many open rooms that nite so it could have easily been offered.

Overall we had a great stay here and would use Candlewood Suites again. The only complaint about the room is that I could not find an exhaust fan in the bathroom and it was needed. I had to open the bathroom door to let out the steam from the shower.

Situated in the heart of Pleasant Hill, Sleep Inn And Suites is close to Iowa State Fairgrounds. Additional area attractions include Adventureland and Iowa State Capitol Building.

"nice hotel"
We stayed here during the Iowa horse fair. Wanted something close to the fair grounds with a pool. Hotel was slightly hard to find tho I really need to update my GPS. Pool area was so strong from chlorine that it burned my eyes. Several people were complaining about this, at fist I thought it was just me. Didnt seem to bother the kids any.
