We actually left and went to another hotel because it was such a bad area. Some the blinds appeared ripped and there were cops everwhere on the town and little kis running around the city unsupervised.

Would highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stop. Clean room. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Free parking and free WIFI. Fridge and microwave in room. Lots of restaurants at exit and easy access off the interstate.

Overall, not too bad but the type of Air Conditioners they have will not allow you to run them non-stop...Even if you are not using the "automatic" feature on the control panel, it will cut off sporadically during the night, staying off for several minutes when you want it to run all the time. This creates a stuffy environment

This is the second time we have stayed at this HoJo and we have had a great stay each time. We come up from Fl. to visit family and the location is perfect. It's quiet, the staff are nice, the rooms are clean. There isn't a pool but that doesn't matter to us but if you have kids it may not be the place for you. We'll be back in June!

The hotel was old, but well kept. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, even helping us get something printed for a meeting, meaning we had to email the documents to them at the front desk. Room was clean and comfy -- but the towels could use a little updating! Very rough! Stayed here in the past & it was good. BUT this time had to park on opposite side of building due to "we're booked". Okay not that bad BUT I was placed in a room with an adjoining door. Reserved this hotel for 3 nights...needed a low rate, pet friendly, & a reasonable commute to my destination...immediate surroundings of the hotel were a little rundown, but nothing too unexpected being in an nfamiliar environment...cameras installed arround the building and well lit for walking pet at night...previous guests did not pick up pet waste, […] so watch where you step...hotel staff were super nice and friendly...hotel rooms are exteriorly accessible instead of interiorly accessible...my room was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished...breakast was provided by the hotel (waffles, cereal, coffee, fruit)...several places to eat in the area...overall experience was gerat and met my needs...I will definitely keep this hotel in mind for furture travel. We were in Rockhill for a two day soccer tournament and wanted somewhere to stay one night that was cheap but clean. This one was that. It was good for a short one night stay. We got this reservation blind through Expedia as a last minute option (Didn't learn the name of the place until after we paid.) These are all exterior rooms, but easy to access. Nothing fancy here, but tasteful and comfortable. We had one minor glitch with the room, which management corrected almost immediately. The staff was exceptionally pleasant […] and accomodating. One suggestion--don't wait until the 6-9 a.m. continental breakfast is almost over before heading to the dining area. Hotel was really close to I-77 and easy to get in and out of during the day. Very close to shopping district and Carowinds. The rooms were very clean and the morning breakfast was better than the hotels. (The other hotels offer coffee and a muffin while this one offered Waffles, cereal, juice, milk, coffee, bagels... etc.) The hotel is quiet and the […] front hotel staff is friendly. :) The only issues I had while staying was the housekeeping lady took our towels, did not make the bed up or leave any soap/shampoo for the room. When we found the lady down the hall, she was talking on her cell phone and basically ignored us while we were trying to just obtain some towels. She looked at us and kept talking till she finally hung up. We were finally told that the towels were in the wash and it would be a few minutes before they were brought back to us. 45 minutes later we got clean towels. The hotel is above all, a great place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to any and all friends who are needing a place to stay in the Rock Hill area. To much smoking and drinking out in fron =t of the rooms which are all non-smoking rooms. Continental breakfast choices are severely limited. I'd rather stay at Comfort Inn & Suites and eat theirs, Maintenance care is minimal and only when pointed out to the management. My family had an enjoyable time. The motel met our needs with no problem. My only complaint is that the first night the alarm clock woke me up at midnight. I turned it off and the volume down thinking the last person that used the rooom must have set the alarm. Then on the second night the alarm came on again at midnight.
