The Budget Host Inn - Manistique is located just 3.5 miles east of Manistique on U S Highway 2. One mile from the Kewadin Casino with complimentary shuttle to and from the casino. Manistique is a beautiful harbor town on Lake Michigan, just 88 miles from the Mackinaw Bridge, it is centrally located to many Upper Peninsula attractions and outdoor recreation. This area enjoys warmer temperatures than much of the Upper Peninsula, thanks to Lake Michigan. Just down Highway 2, a Boardwalk goes along the shoreline for almost 2 miles that offers easy access to the beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The boardwalk also offers a fishing pier, picnic areas and access to the East Breakwater Light. Manistique is a very friendly town, with antique shops and stores for you to visit.

We were very pleased with our stay. We would stay here again. The only thing I would change, would be the chair in the corner that isn't very comfortable. The place we stayed at last week wasn't quite as nice, but it had a recliner in the corner, which I really appreciated.

We spent the day with friends on their pontoon boat - inaugural voyage. We needed clean, reasonably priced place to sleep. This worked out perfect. Staff who greeted us and checked us out were friendly and shared local information requested.

The owners are very nice and great to talk to. They keep this place in top notch shape. Beds are decent and rooms are clean, ac works and they provide rags to dry off your motorcycle, and don't forget to protect the blacktop driveway from your kickstand, no worries, she has boards for them!

We booked the room because there was a pool and it was supposed to be close to several things. We arrived and there is no water in the pool and it is about as far out as you can get from the boardwalk, mainstreet, or even a convienance store. Definently not walking distance.

It's an OK hotel, my room had a very funky smell to it though. Small tv. It's just ok. There are nicer ones just a mile or two down the road. I'll stay at one of them next time.
