The rooms were a litle noisy. i could hear people in the other rooms.Service was outstanding, breakfast wonderful, and the location was amazing.

Very nice hotel, helpful and polite staff. We were there in the off season so we didn't use any outside facilities, but the views were spectacular. The breakfast was good. The hotel staff arranged a tour of Pompeii and Herculean that was excellent.

Location is superb. Service is excellent. Interior is nice. Bathroom is very good. However for a four star hotel I'd expect room to have a WiFi, teapot and more modern furniture. Parking is 10 EUR per day.

Stayed here for honeymoon and was not disappointed. Had a double with sea view balcony, and it was lovely. Clean, tall ceilings, cool decor. The staff here was helpful and friendly. Classy place all around. The hotel is technically in Sant’Agnello, the small town that neighbors Sorrento. If taking the Circumvesuviana, get off at the Sant’Agnello stop. […] It is a bit of a hike to downtown Sorrento. Plan on taking 25-45 mins depending on how fast you want to walk. There’s also a bus that picks up right at the hotel and takes you straight into Sorrento, about 2 /hour. Hotel restaurant is passable, but not really worth the price. Eat there if you want a fancier experience with a great view, but don’t expect the best Italian food ever. There’s a little place right next door (right above the beach walkway) though that has the same view, is casual, has fantastic food and a mix of locals (always a good sign) and tourists. Beach access is super close and the beach is small but lovely. Small free section has dock only, no sand, with ladder into water. Paid section is nicer and you can rent chars and umbrellas too. As of 6/14/12, with the hotel coupon (get at desk before you go down) 8 Euros gets you all-day access with a beach chair. Only downside was the small mini-fridge that’s too packed to put your own stuff in (and you’re not allowed to take the mini-bar stuff out, even temporarily. And a small bucket of ice from the bar cost 5 Euros! Other than that detail, this place was perfect. Read more

Very Clean and lovely views. I was surprised with the price as it seemed you got a lot for your money. The two things I would have liked to have seen was transportation into Sorrento. Many of the other hotels offered shuttle service. The bar service in the lobby was also intermittent. All and all the hotel was very nice!

Very nice hotel, 20-ish miinute walk to the center of Sorrento. But the ulitmate pleasure was the terrace to our room. Room 667 if you can get it. Very top of the hotel, terrace was very large, 270 degree view overlooking Sorrento, could see the Isle of Capri, Naples, Vesuvious. Amazing. Only disappointment was WiFi was only available in the lobby.

The hotel is a little bit out of the way from the train station. S. Agnello. It is about a 10 minute walk from the station, but the view is so worth the visit. Make sure to get an Ocean View room. We had a view facing the street and the room was very muggy and humid because there was no breeze coming through our window.

The Hotel Corallo was directly on the Bay of Sorrento. There were no roads between the hotel and the view. The one bedroom with a water view and a balcony was breathtaking. Request room 464 it provides a huge balcony with table chairs and two lounge chairs. The other rooms are also lovely. The hotel offers a breakfast that varies slightly each day. […] The bus stops around the corner and it is a good 25 minute walk into the center of Sorrento. It is located on a cliff from which many of the pictures of Sant’ Agnello are exhibited. The front faces a dead end street making it a quiet spot for the Sorrento neighborhood. Enza, Emanuella and Giovanni will cheerfully help you fully enjoy your trip suggesting restaurants and providing information for your visits to Capri ,Pompeii, Versuviius, Amalfi, Rapallo, Positano and Naples. The hotel has an arrangement with a private beach club and there is a public beach a few steps from the front door. There was a bus that for 10 euros deposited us in Sant'Agnello a few blocks from the hotel. Avoid taxis they charge 20 euros for even a short drive. Hotel arranged restaurant pick up service which was free. Try Da Peppinos near the Sant'Agnello train station and a short walk from the hotel. Inexpensive and good which is why we noticed all the Italians eating here and taking out pizza. I looked for what the one bad review on hotels.com complained about but could not find any evidence of problems would result in a bad rating for this above average facility. We stayed here 6 nights and had opportunity to listen to other guests who were equally delighted with this hotel. Read more

The Hotel Corallo was great! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Their English skills were very good. Breakfast was very good. I had read online that there were laundry services through the hotel. I assumed a self-service arrangement, but they actually contracted with a local laundry. That particular service was not going to work for us, […] because we arrived on a Friday late-afternoon and were only staying one night. No weekend service was available. The hotel was helpful and recommended another self-serve laundry in town. I walked to that particular business, arriving around 7:00 p.m. They just happened to still be open and told me that if I got my clothes together, they would pick them up, wash them and deliver them back to the hotel by 10:30 p.m. I did -- and they did, too! It was amazing service (and only a 9 Euro price tag!). The real value of Hotel Corallo is the view. The pictures on the website do not capture the beauty of this place. We happened to be there at a perfect time in terms of the weather -- 70 degrees. I thought we had died and gone to heaven! Definitely would stay there again -- and recommend you do, too! Read more

We stayed at the Corallo in June 2012 and had a great holiday. We did get off to a rather shaky start when, on arrival, the hotel had no record of our reservation. However,very quickly we decided we would not let this spoil our break and with the help of receptionist Emmanuel we decided to take up the offer of relocating to an adjacent hotel,The Hotel […] Villa Garden, for 2 nights. On our return we were upgraded to a superior sea view room for our 5 night stay and Emmanuel and the manager Antonio also arranged for us to have a complimentary dinner on the terrace of the restaurant. We viewed the location of the hotel as one of the main attractions, the views are breathtaking and eating breakfast on the terrace each morning in the sunshine, while watching the boats in the bay was a different world from dull, rainy UK. We also enjoyed the walk each evening to and from Sorrento for our evening meal. The walk takes about 25 minutes which is fine if you like walking and helps walk off the excesses of the lovely Italian food but may not suit those who do not like walking.There are however some nice restaurants and bars in Sant Agnello as well. Breakfast in the hotel is relaxed and plentiful, the evening meal we had on the one night we ate in the hotel was very good too. We also thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle of the weddings held on 4 of the nights we were there. Hotel Corallo is the perfect place for a romantic break and we would highly recommend it and would hope to return one day. Read more

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any information we needed. There was a good choice of food at breakfast, as far as continental breakfasts go although we were yearning for something a little different by the end of our stay. The room was clean and tidy and the sea view from our room was lovely. The only […] faults I can level at the hotel were the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, Wi-fi not available in the room, only in reception. Also whilst the balcony had chairs these were not suitable for sunbathing or relaxing in. As has been mentioned in other reviews the hotel seemed to host a lot of weddings/receptions which meant music was playing until 00:00-01:00 most nights, which the soundproofing advertised with these rooms did little to block out. Despite all this we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel on its setting, staff and quality of the rooms. Read more

What a disappointment! After looking at the images on their webpage you wonder how and when they were taken.... A poor standard to this hotel, although the room was clean it was in dire need of updating. The beds were rock hard, old heavy blankets instead of dunas, some drawers for clothes could not open, plaster falling of in the bathroom which was […] also very cold, TV had lots of channels nearly all in Italian apart from a few news channels. Breakfast ended at 09,30 and contained nothing more than things you can get out of a can and some cheap bread and pre-sliced cheese. Contacting the hotel via e-mail to get help with transfer from Naples but got no respons, and when asking about return transfer they charged €20 more than i.e Eurolimo (who where fantastic by the way). Their view is great but it is so not worth it, many more hotels in Sant Agnello or Sorrento that can offer that and more... Read more

Super hotel and stunnung views with quality restaurant. Would highly recommend its terrace for a wedding (which we witnessed as bystanders) or any event where you don't intend to stray from the hotel. However, it is located a half a mile walk (up/down steep hill) from any shops, has no pool, no recreation amenities (except bars), and doesn't have its […] own beach access, no pool. So the question is, how good a platform for touring the local (very beautiful and interesting) area? The answer depends upon whether you are willing to hire a car and your stress tolerance. Local drivers, parking and roads are a nightmare, hiring - not for the feint hearted! Naples is the motoring equivalent of "the jungle", and local roads on the Sorrento Penisular are blighted by drivers, particularly scooters, that have no cognisance of stop signs, no overtaking and other restrictions. I regularly drive in Central London, but that's relaxing compared to this. Best idea is to stay directly in Sorrento (n.b. take bus from airport), and get an "all day rover" pass to use excellent railway service to Pompeii, Vesuvious, Naples etc. Shame really, as the hotel is genuinely excellent apart from this. But the hotel is not in Sorrento but a half an hour walk or 20 EUR taxi from the main square of Sorrento. Ask the hotel staff for restaurant recommendations, Sorrento has way to many English beer gardens, so ask for recommendations to void […] the beer swinging gents and gals. Read more

El hotel es muy lindo, pero con algunos comentarios. Solamente hay internet en el lobby, no tiene conexión en las habitaciones, ni siquiera de pago. También puede pasarte que haya un casamiento, como nos pasó, por lo que habrá mucha gente circulando en el lobby.

2012年7月下旬に2名で宿泊しました。 お天気に恵まれ、オーシャンビューの部屋は、まさに非日常。景色は最高です。 部屋の設備は、シャワーのみで少し狭いのと、冷蔵庫が使えなかった以外は、特段の問題はありませんでした。ただ、シャンプー、ボディーソープ、歯ブラシセットは持参すべきです。 唯一の欠点は、足(移動手段)が非常に乏しいこと。これはホテルの責任ではありませんが、バスはほとんど使えず、タクシーは高い。ソレントの中心から20分くらいですが、お昼の移動はかなりきついです。ただ、これがクリアできる方であれば、十分に満喫できると思います。 なおホテルから徒歩30秒で、景色が最高のレストランがあります。ここの景色はお勧めです。 初めまして南イタリアに行きましたが、ソレントの街は夜まで活気があり […] 、子供連れも23時くらいまで多く安心感はあります(もちろん一定の配慮は必要ですが)。また、カプリ島、アマルフィまでいかれる方は、ソレント泊はお勧めと思います。 Read more

Helt underbart! Fantastiskt läge med en helt enastående utsikt. Rummet var nyrenoverat, mkt smakfullt och rent. Vi har bott på många hotell under åren och detta slår det mesta. De första nätterna i Sorrento bodde vi på ett mer centralt hotell, vilket var utmärkt för att ha närhet till alla kommunikationer. De sista nätterna var vi på Corallo, vilket […] ligger lite utanför Sorrento, för att få en mer avslappnad avslutning på semestern. Men läget innebär lite omak när man skall förflytta sig. Buss är ok, men taxi är ruskigt dyrt. Vi bodde på rum 667, högsta plan med en gigantisk terass, 270 graders utsikt-kan inte bli bättre. Andra rum på samma plan skulle jag inte rekommendera, låg takhöjd, små fönster, och sannolikt varmt nattetid. AC fungerade inte, men det var ok med vidöppna balkongdörrar. Read more
