This hotel is getting old... the room we stayed at had water damage on the walls and the halls smelled pretty badly. TV was too small...the buffet in the morning was good.

They offer happy hour at the Club Lounge with a great spread of hot foods, appetizers, desserts including free alcoholic beverages. The huge farmer's market is just across the street make easy and plenty of choices for fresh fruits and sea foods. Cooking is on the spot after you pick the items. Just make sure well done to avoid GI infections if not well cooked and not clean.

This Le Meridien is a bit dated compared to one I've stayed at before, but it is clean and still nice and the staff are nice. The location is very convenient to the night market and activities. One thing we did notice and it is not unexpected, the travel office there charges 10 to 15 ringit more for the same tour you can book at the mall across the […] street. I found Le Meridien to be overpriced for the services that were included in the stay. Internet access was charged, there was no transfer service to the airport, breakfast was not included, and overall, the staff was happy to "arrange" a service, but for a price. I did have one negative experience at this hotel. When I went to check out I noticed that I had been charged for the breakfast buffet that I did not eat. When they checked their receipts there was a receipt for my room number that was signed with my name. When I told them it was not my signature they compared it to my signature from when I signed in […] and they took off the charge. I hope that that someone used my room number, but just in case this is something the hotel does on a regular basis I thought that I would post this to alert people staying at this hotel. Read more

Great hotel! Good price and good location. The breakfast buffet was very good, but a litte pricey as we didn't have it included. The only thing negative to mention was that as we were 2 people with 2 laptops, we could only use one at the time because they don't have wireless net. Otherwise, great stay!

Our deluxe sea view room was huge with great sunset views over the waterfront. All furnishings were top notch. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of Western, Southeast Asian and Chinese items from which to choose. All excellent quality. Located just across the street from the fruit market and night market in the middle of downtown KK.

If you want to stay in the city and near the action, this is the place. Large, spacious rooms with all the amenities. Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Rooms are updated. I was impressed. However, if you want a slower, more "resort"-like experience, don't stay here. Get out of town.

arrived at the hotel around 1pm in the afternoon and no one around to help with the baggage, but 2 porters appeared at check in area. at check in, was told that preferred room was not ready though the room was already paid for. waiting time for room was 1.5hrs couldn't wait so accepted another room with complimentary wireless. yes wireless was not free […] in this age! room tel did not work and had to come down to reception twice to fix it. iron was not working too and didn't bother anymore to call house keeping. left a note for the GM but there was no return call etc. at the most, a 3 star hotel!!! All staffs are friendly especially the Concierge, very helpful. Will stay there again when I visit K.K. Sabah again. Room is big facing cityview and near to the massage parlour. Pubs are walking distance and Pasar Malam just opposite at night for some local suppers!

A very nice place to stay in KK. We would recommend the sea view rooms to take full advantage of the great location. Lovely outlook and nice sunset vistas. The only major issue is the outrageous charges for internet access at 20 ringgit per hour or 35 ringgit per day. Our voucher indicated we had a classic seaview room, and i remember when i booked it several months ago paying extra for the seaview.
