"so-so stay"

When we checked in we requested a room away from the majority of guests so that our son would not be woken up in the middle of the night by loud hallway traffic. The lady that checked us in was pretty rude and in a hurry; stated everyone had checked out, not many people staying there during the nights we were booked for. Not only were we put on a floor next to loud neighbors, busy hallway traffic, but right outside our window was the trolley than ran well past my son's bedtime until sometimes well after midnight. The hotel itself is okay and we probably would have enjoyed it had we had good customer service and someone who listened to our needs when we checked in.

We were very pleased with our hotel. The rooms were very nice and updated. The breakfast buffet was also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Service was the most outstanding feature of this hotel. The staff was wonderful. They did all my grocery shopping (twice) complimentary, new the surrounding area well, and were very, very friendly. The rooms were large and clean, and the cleaning staff even did our dishes that we left from lunch. Their breakfast buffet offered hot foods like sausage, eggs, potatoes, homemade waffles, etc...The area around the hotel offers alot of site-seeing and shopping, all in walking distance. There are alot of restaurants very near by at more than affordable prices (Subway, McD's,The Spaghetti Factory). A great stay!!

We were looking for a cheap nonsense place to stay for the concert we were going to.. however on hotels.com we got the same room as the price of the cheap ones. The picture looked to our standards so we booked it not expecting too much. The room was the most clean hotel I probably have ever stayed in, decorated incredibly, with more amenities than we could ever ask for. the swiveling tv was great, own sitting area, kitchen fully equiped etc. VERY NICE and worth alot more than we paid!!

This hotel is going to be exactly what you pay for your money-- it may be on the higher end, but it is a nice hotel and the staff is wonderful. I would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here for a wedding at the Louisville Slugger baseball stadium and couldn't have been happier. The location is perfect and the room was like a luxury studio apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

"Amazing Room"

The hotel was perfect. As soon as we arrived we were taken aback by the cleanliness and the luxury of the room. It came furnished complete with all appliances, as well as dishes, and eating utensils. Room was clean and very up kept. There was plenty of towels for myself and my significant other. We both agreed that te comfort of the bed was outstanding. We didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities such as the pool, exercise equipment, hot tub, or complimentary breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly in anything that we needed such as directions, or just general help with something in the room. The location was great. IT was less than a mile from the interstate exit. Great room for the money I paid. I would definitely stay again.

My husband, baby and I were on a minivacation and overall had a good stay. The hotel room was nicely decorated and the kitchen was awesome. The tv rotating stand was great for when we wanted to watch tv in the bedroom or the living room. The only problem we had was that the noise from the hallways was very audible which kept waking up my son in the middle of the night when the doors of other suites would slam shut. If the doors would swing shut slowly to make less noise, that would have made for a nearly perfect stay.

We thought the hotel room was very nicely decorated. The full kitchen was great. My 12 year old daughter was thrilled about the complimentary microwave popcorn, the continental breakfast, and the indoor pool. The price made the hotel seem even more impressive. Being in the center of downtown was another plus.

The rooms are very comfortable and appealing aesthetically. They are also well equipped with the kitchen set-up. I also liked the location of this hotel with convenient access to local attractions. The only thing that would have made it perfect was a little softer bed. The staff were very helpful and hospitable.

"Inside is where the magic is"

The outside of the hotel looked rather dank, just off the interstate in louisville, even with my friends prompting me as to where I had brought them, but one step inside turned everything around. And once we got to the room, it was kudos all around. The breakfast was good, and the room, with a queen bed and a pull out bed in the sofa was great. Only 6 blocks from 4th Street Live, and the louisville downtown entertainment district, and off street garaged parking make this a hotel I would definitely consider again.

"Outstanding hotel"

I was pleasantly surprised at the total quality of this Hotel. They continually exceeded my expectations. The Staff to a person were excellent and always polite and friendly. They went out-of-their way to make me happy. An example: I had bought more stuff than I had room in my suitcase to return home. The front desk staff were more than happy to contact UPS and have my stuff packed and shipped home. The continental breakfast was always great and with lots of variety. Ms. Penny was a joy to talk with and she cooked delicious food. The housekeeping staff were very good and trustworthy, never a worry about leaving anything in your room. I liked the security of the hotel by keeping all doors locked and the card keys for access. The rooms were perfect. I would like to have a condo with this design. I was within 4 blocks of the Kentucky Convention Center and numerous restaurants. 4th Street Live was about 5 blocks away. I felt safe walking around day and night. In a nutshell, I will stay there if I ever go back to Louisville. No doubt about it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn. The room was very clean and the layout of it was unique and well planned for the space it had. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only complaint we had was that we were charged a fee to park every day. Since there was no parking on the street nearby or a parking lot, they had you.

I was attending a conference in downtown Louisville and the host hotel was full, so I selected the Residence Inn, which was about a mile away (NE side of downtown). The building is new and the rooms fresh and clean. The standard rate was the same as the special conference rate at the host hotel. Parking was convenient and reasonable ($6 per day). The surrounding neighborhood is apparently in transition: several "alternative" bars but also the ballpark, some excellent restaurants and quite a lot of new construction.

Overall a very good deal for the money and location. Staff was very friendly. The only issue was having to wait for plates and silverware at breakfast. It appeared like there was more people there than anticipated.

Great hotel for the money. Room was very comfortable, parking was covered and convenient and free. Location was great for interstate access. Close to downtown and only about 10 minutes from the airport.

The room I stayed in was a little higher end then I generally look for but I felt that it was worth the money. It was very clean and had a very relaxed feel to it. Being a studio floorplan made the room feel less like a hotel and the decor did that as well. Service was great, and the breakfast was ok.
