Place is nice. Very close to Legoland. Shopping center and restaurants across the streets. There is a TGIF right next to it. Free breakfast is good, considering that it's free. My only issue is that the housekeeper does not even bother to knock before coming in. It happened twice in one day. First time freaked me out a bit because I was with my daughter. Someone was trying to get it but couldnt because the latch was on while we were sleeping. Second time was around 10 am. Same thing happened again. I peeked through the peephole and saw the houskeeper's cart moving away.

2 blocks from the beach- great location and views. Some others have commented on the railroad noise- it wasn't noticeable after maybe the first time a train went by. Beautiful little place- wish I had been able to stay more days!

Everything about Aquamarine Villas is great, accept the water temp and pressure was a little unpredictable in the downstairs bathroom of our 2 bedroom condo. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so I didn't complain the them about this minor detail. The location is great, so close to the beach.

We loved it here! We booked 3 nights, and ended up staying 2 more additional nights. I would recommend for anyone. We have a family of five, and it was a perfect home away from home. Short walk to the beach, ocean view from upstairs, nice heated pool and jacuzzi. We will definetely come back for another stay!

I was pleasantly surprised with the large size and proximity to the beach at this property. The staff was helpful and courteous, offering beach chairs/toys, and towels to use, vhs movies, all at no cost. We stayed in the 2 bed/2 bath, includes a 2 car garage. Very clean, furniture a bit dated, but very clean as well. We barbequed and ate outside, 10 […] feet from our front door, next to the pool. What a great home away from home!! We will definitely be back! I only wish we could have extended another day, because we weren't ready to leave after 2 nights. Read more

This is a definite recommend for anyone that wants to be close to the beach, small markets, the 101 Cafe', and overall sound of the ocean waves at night. For the price you cannot beat these accommodations. The villas are VERY clean, full kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and a step down living area. The balcony was nice to sit and watch the beach life […] go by. It is very close to the Oceanside train station and we walked from AquaMarine Villas to the train station and caught the train back down to San Diego to catch our flight home. Train ticket cost $5.00 and taxi from San Diego train station to the airport was 10.00! With the price of gasoline and rental cars you can't beat that mode of travel from the airport to Oceanside! I highly recommend this accommodation and we will be staying here from now on when we visit Oceanside! A+++++++++++ & 5 stars!! Read more
