My group of four was looking for a cheap hotel near the Raleigh Convention Center. This Super 8 was reasonably priced and only a two-mile straight shot from the Convention Center. The service was nice and helpful, though when I went to check-in there was nobody at the front desk and I had to wait outside for ten minutes. Overall for an overnight stay the room was fine. The pillows were newer and the beds surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom had been upgraded so the shower was good. New carpeting cleaned up the room which did come with a microwave and small refrigerator, which is a bonus. The downside was the TV remote was missing the reception was poor. The coffee […] pot and cups were missing, along with large bath towels - so housekeeping isn't paying too much attention to detail. The breakfast was a very small, stuffy room and had the bare minimum - no fresh fruit. The old saying "you get what you pay for" proves true, but a good overall value for a short stay. Read more

The rooms showed their age in places but bathroom was newly remodeled. Comfortable and quiet. Access a little unhandy as you have to drive several blocks to U-Turn if you want to head south.

I stayed for parts of 5 days. Service was excellent, with all personel (especially Ashwin) going out of their way to make my stay pleasant. That said, the sink would not drain properly, and the Internet did not work well or at all for 4 of 5 days. A huge effort was made to fix the latter, the former was never addressed. The hotel was good for the price. Convenient to drive to NCS University for our event. Breakfast was fair.......cereal, cakes, mufifns, coffee, juice......... they seemed to limit the Eng. muffins, only putting out 2 at a time. But for the price it was a decent place to stay. The repairs to the room was not finish where they replace the sheetrock. My girlfriend found a used condom by the bed. They didnt clean the room and had go get clean towels.

Good price, but the hotel conditions & cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Requested a later check-out on Sunday because I was in town for a Baptism. Front desk was calling, demanding that we leave or be charged another night, & this was only about an hour after regular check-out. Will not be staying again unless absolutely necessary.

Nothing compared to the Knoxville Super 8 I stayed in prior to my stay in downtown Raleigh area. Hotel was run down and room was in terrible shape. Unsavory character's roaming around constantly. Even had something stolen out of the back of my truck.

Stayed in this hotel for closeness to the convention center. The hotel is very outdated and needs a lot of upkeep. The shower had hair stuck to wall and the bed had a used condom underneath the mattress. The comforter has a cigarette hole and the walls were stained.

I had no problems with this hotel other than the fact that the continental breakfast ended so soon, and we weren't aware of this. it was only an hour from 8-9. So by the time my family and i got showered, dressed, and ready to eat and was there by 9:15 we couldn't eat

I could not get the internet to work, when I spoke to staff about it, that is when I finally got a hold of them they said there was nothing they could do. Staff was not helpful when they could be located. The room was dusty when I first got there and the room was much smaller than the pictures led me to believe they were.

This is a good hotel for a casual stop through or if you need a low budget place to lay your head on a trip where you will not be staying in the room for any amount of time. Perfect for a college roadtrip but I've been past that stage for YEARS. The staff was great. The room I was in the tub and sink had drainage issues. The neighborhood is a bit interesting […] however the location (off the interstate) is great for a "stop over" while making a long journey. Located 10 minutes from downtown Raliegh, NC it is also a good location for college students or families on a very tight budget, however one would be better served to go to the same owner's property next door if you want updated facilities or better rooms. This hotel was very out dated. Old comforters, furniture, fixtures and appliances. My friend and I were almost too scared to sleep there due to the dirty filmy rug. The rug was incredibly dirty and had this sticky film over it. There was also a roach in the bathroom during out stay. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend it.
