Overall, I was pleased with my 3 night stay here. The room I had on the first 2 nights had the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many years. Everything was great with the exception of some much needed care on the worn carpet in the hallways. 3rd night the bed was less comfortable but still a great value for the money ! Will stay here again...

Having sold my house in Bartlesville, I needed lodging and chose this hotel upon the recommendation of friends who had a lengthy stay there with family while their house was being made ready. The hotel is […] on Washington Blvd., Highway 75, the principle roadway with the super market across the street, a dollar store a few doors up and the Mall with all its stores and restaurants. I don't drive but had all I needed right there a short walk away. Microtel itself is new,clean, comfortable with a lovely, helpful staff. My particular room had adjustable heat ,a fridge, microwave, food prep area with sink ,Wi-Fi, lovely bathroom, TV, a very comfortable bed ... basically anything I could ask for. There is a really nice breakfast room on the main floor though I never had my breakfast there. I no longer live in Bartlesville but visit and intend to make my base this Microtel each time I am in town. I just love the place. Thanks to everyone there! See you soon! Read more

Well, it's the Microtel, not Embassy Suites, so it wasn't as though I had very high expectations... but not even minor expectations were met! First of all, I was annoyed that they have ancient TVs, even in the "suites" I mean, Microtel is a major chain, they didn't even have flat screen T.V.s, much less flat panel. I could have lived with it, but, their […] internet was down!! Wireless and wired, it didn't work, and the front desk clerk didn't even call a manager or the ISP to try and fix it. When I called to ask about it, she immediately got defensive and said "I am a front desk clerk, NOT an IT computer person, there is nothing I can do about it, so I don't know why all the guests are taking it out on me." I wasn't even rude, I just called to ask if it was working and if she knew if it would be working any time soon! I had work to do that I couldn't do. On top of that, there was a dirty men's shirt inside of the wardrobe/closet... on top of the fact that it looked like that closet had never been vacuumed, it was gross. So, all in all... I had a horrible experience. I wish I would have paid $20 more to stay somewhere nicer. Heck, even somewhere cheaper would have probably been better!! Read more

I thought I would try it again as they have been getting better reviews. It is great for just needing a place to sleep. No microwave or fridge. Very thin walls. If anyone is in the room next to you, you can hear everything they say. Tried to run water through coffeepot to get a cup of hot water for tea....water was brown.

We checked into our room at 4. Went to dinner and got back around 8. Our key didn't work-the hotel clerk had checked someone else into our room! He was the same person that had checked us in. How does this haopen? Scarey to think we could have been in the room when someone else would have had a key. It was modern, clean, compact and a great place to stay for the money. If there are noisy guests around you can here loud noises through the thin walls. By bed time the noise had settled down and not a big problem

We were in Bartlesville for OK Mozart music festival. We chose Microtel because we knew we wouldn't be in the room a lot, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money for a little time. We stayed in a suite, and it was very roomy, with a kitchenette, and sitting area. The bed was hard as a rock, so we will probably pay a little more next time, and stay […] in a slightly more upscale hotel, and hope for a better bed. We reserved a suite with one queen bed, but our room had only one full size bed. The size of the bed was no bid deal, if it had been a little more comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and helpful, and the location was very convenient. Room was tiny, bed was uncomfortable, had to look up at the celing to watch television. The elevator had some sticky ooze on the floor and the overall cleanliness was subpar. I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is located on a major highway, so could hear traffic at night. The walls were thin as could hear baby crying during the night as well as traffic and rain hitting roof loudly. I didn't want to take a bath as the tub is made of textured material and the grooves didn't appear totally clean, wasn't sure. But I'm extremely picky about cleanliness. […] The inner edge of closet floor needed vacuuming. Towels are extremely thin and I had trouble drying off with only one. Staff is friendly. Yes the room rate was reasonable; however, the bed was hard as a rock, the pillows flat and the room was not the cleanest!! Oh and the breakfast was lacking food choices. If you like cereal great... 90° weather and air conditioning quit in middle of the night. We opened the window but it didn't help much. By the time we checked out, we were sweating really bad. We were told that if we had said something earlier, they would have gotten us a different room. Nobody wants to pack up everything at 2 in the morning, only to get up at 7 and leave, after […] you've spent a whole day in the heat. The walls were really thin, with the talking and laughing keeping us awake a lot the first night. Every time someone in the next room shut a door, it rattled our room. It really needed a chair in the room. My husband has back problems and can't lay in the bed all night. He spends a lot of time in a chair and couldn't here. Poor, poor breakfast.
