The Hilton at Fort Collins is a nice hotel that lacks amenities. You'll have to pay separately for internet service, local phone calls, and continental breakfast. It's only real benefit is being located close to CSU campus.

We stayed at the Hilton for our anniversary. It is one of the closest hotels to old town. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, but we did get an upgrade to a mountain view suite for our anniversary. My wife said that the bed was so comfortable that she wanted to take it home. We stayed in the Mountain View Deluxe King Suite. First of all the "Mountain View" was the tip of some hills that sat behind a low income housing apartment complex. The window to view this from was very poorly insulated, therefore our room was freezing! We had the heat turned up to 80 just to stay comfortable. Its a very nice hotel in a good location. The lobby is very well put together, except the service desk area is kind of small and doesn't seem like its put together real well for the size of the hotel. The room was a good size with a decent view but the beds were more on the uncomfortable side and the shower wasn't the same ones thats shown on the pics […] of the hotels, the water pressure wasn't great. The pool, gym, and hot tub was mediocre for a hilton. As a non-smoker, I don't enjoy being in a hotel that has smoking rooms available. Smoke doesn't stay in one spot! I really don't appreciate having to pay for wi-fi! The crowning insult was the party the last night of my stay -- very loud. We had excellent service here, and everyone we interacted with was responsive and very friendly. But like with some other Hiltons I've stayed at recently, there were a few issues. The bathroom seemed outdated and poorly planned (there was no fan, so the whole place steamed up when anyone took a shower). The pillows were terrible - all 6 pillows on the […] bed were feather pillows that went completely flat when you laid on them, so it was less comfortable than no pillow at all. This is the most expensive hotel in Fort Collins. Common areas look like they haven't been updated in 20 years. Rooms however are nice and beds comfortable. Gym has machines that have not been working properly for a year. 15 pound weights missing since I reported this two months ago.

I paid for an executive level room but was put on a lower floor. The complimentary breakfast was managed by one person who would have to run to the kitchen on the 1st floor (from the 9th floor) to refill eggs, etc when we ran out. Also, the fee to see an in-house movie is outrageous ($16.95)!!!!

Add on charges from no-where. I got the hotel quick checkout slip under the door. It showed no charges to be added to the bill. I had not used anything in the room marked as an extra charge. Water, for example, was $4 a bottle. Didnt touch those. So I get home and find a charge for $10 and a charge for $15. No description on the bill. No phone number […] to call. This is not a resort. dont think it was a resort charge. Sent an email about it.... no answer yet. I dont like these small charge games. Read more

I chose the Hilton as it was the closest hotel to my son's house. The purpose for my visit was to see him and his family, so I wanted a short commute that avoided any of the infamous train tracks in Fort Collins. everything was very clean. The carpet even had a still-damp spot where it had been spot cleaned. I do not use all the amenities many motel/hotels have. When traveling, I am interested in CLEAN, Convenient, safe and reasonable cost. The Hilton is very nice, but I don't like having to pay for internet access.

This hotel is right next to CSU so if you are visiting CSU and want to just park you car and walk, this is the place be. Other than that, I think the hotel is very overpriced for what it has to offer. In addition, they charge $10/day for internet access. If you are here for any other reason than CSU I would choose another hotel that has more to offer […] and is cheaper. Just as a note, the 200 level rooms that face East only have small windows way up by the ceiling so they can be opened for smokers. You feel like you are in a cave. Nice, clean and comfortable. I can't believe they still charge 9.95 a day for internet usage! Great proximity to CSU and wonderful beds. Workout facility is limited. Staff was great and helpful.

1. The pool was COLD. 2. The hot tub was the temperature of a cool pool. 3. There was mold around the pool. 4. Internet was $10 extra a day. 5. No mini-fridge OR microwave in the room! 6. The air conditioner kept going off so we would wake up hot and have to cool down the room several times. But the worst was being startled awake from room service trying to enter the room at 8 a.m. when check out isnt even til noon. You can tell from the layout that the hotel is older, but it has been updated nicely. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. It is a bit of a walk to Old Town. There is a town bus service that you can use and also a taxi service.
