The room was clean and beds/towels were fine, but the bathroom needed some attention. The sink faucet sprayed water all over, the caulking around the tub was cracked, and there were exposed pipes at the tub faucet. The room was heated/cooled by a unit that had no thermostat, so we could only set the heat at constant high or low. We had to get up during […] the night to turn the heat off or on, depending on how warm or cold it was in the room. The pool was decent, although the water was a bit on the cold side. The complimentary breakfast was served at the attached steakhouse restaurant and was good overall. We were there on a Sunday when there were many hotel guests, so breakfast was served buffet style that day. Then on Monday, there was a choice from three cooked-to-order breakfasts. The hotel is definitely 2 star (not more). Given the rate we paid, I was somewhat disappointed. Read more

Had to pay for free continental breakfast because the Free breakfast only applied if you ate at restaurant-- I had 88 year old grandmother with me & our room Was located at end of hotel- wouldn't accomadate me Even after I explained this to them. Rooms were clean and the location was convenient, so it worked for one night. I woldn't stay there more than 1 night. Very overpriced for what was a truck stop and the facility hasn't been renovated in years. For this price, stay at the Hampton Inn in Kingston. MUCH MUCH nicer for the same price.

Our first greeting at reception was from a surly young lady who couldn't care less about listening or communicating. This was trumped only by her replacement who could barely make eye contact, do more than grunt, or give any customer service at all. Our room had no shower curtain, the toilet wobbled and threatened to break, it would barely flush. The room was disgusting, you could tell the floor hadn't been vacuumed and the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom door would shut and the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. There was also horrible lighting in the parking lot, leaving me feeling uncomfortable walking in and out of the hotel.

There were two of us and we each paid for 2 nights. My payment was posted and no issues but my friend had paid and the front desk said no and that she would have to call and handle this problem. We both felt angry and that the hotel should have handled this issue as it was booked thru a vendor that you all use. The staff was not very nice about this […] until after my friend contacted her cc co. who said they had pd -then she had to call expedia and clarify -- Expedia called the hotel and told them that she in fact had pd. We feel that was unnecessary and that again the hotel clerk should have handled this. Once Expedia contacted the clerk at your hotel then next time we saw her she did apologize but we were not treated well prior to this. It was uncomfortable and not good business. Read more

This hotel is shabby and desperately in need of a renovation. The carpet in our room was frayed and stained. There were rust spots on the bathroom door. One of the lamps and the tv in our room did not work. The hallways were musty and had a slight smell of smoke despite the fact that this is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. We could not park outside […] the door closest to our room, because some of the parking lot lighting was not working. The lobby and common areas are postered with computer-generated signs, "No Pets", "Ice machine for ice buckets only, do not put ice in your cooler", "coffee machine for paying guests only", "guests must sign in at front desk before using pool", "On day of check out guests must be out of pool by 11:45, you cannot swim in pool after check out". The last two signs were particularly ironic because on the pool door there is a sign "pool closed" -- with no indication of when it will reopen as there seems to be some sort of construction in the pool area. The net result is a place where I did not feel welcome or comfortable. Read more

We stayed here for the weekend of the Marist graduation. It was convenient to the thruway and Rhinebeck. The breakfast was terrific and the staff very friendly. Although the hotel is a bit old the beds were very comfortable.

I spend A LOT of time on the road and this place was just not acceptable. The furniture had a layer of dust on it that was literally visible. Dirty dishes from someone's room service were laying in the hallway for an entire day. Overall, it was simply a poor, poor example of a hotel/motel.

The price we paid for this place per night was a rip off plain and simple. I'm glad so many others had a nice stay but we did not and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. While the location is pretty decent (off the highway, close to other main roads around the area), the quality is terrible. Our room/wing clearly wasn't renovated within a decade or […] so: the light fixtures were falling apart, the entire corridor smelled like smoke, the towels were paper thin, gum was stuck behind the nightstands, and the HVAC unit looked like it was going to fall out of the building. Quality Inn shows a little wear, but you can't beat the price and my main concern was that everything was clean. The staff is very pleasant. Though I didn't use the indoor pool, I saw a couple of families with children having a great time in it. There's a very good steakhouse on the premises, Roudigan's, with good food at a reasonable price. The surrounding […] area of course is the wonderful Catskills. Though it is close to the thruway I was never bothered by the sound and I still enjoy the location over, say, the interior of Kingston. Great value. Read more

This is a standard Quality Inn that met all expectations but did not exceed them. We stayed there to see family and allow my autistic boy the chance to swim. Pool was clean and warm for him and me. Rooms were clean. The heat was a bit hard to control and loud when we were trying to sleep. The staff were all very kind and supportive in everything I asked for. Good overall experience, very affordable weekend.

Das Quality Inn war für uns ein Etappenhotel auf der Rückreise nach NY. Es liegt dafür sehr günstig am Interstate-Highway, reizvolle Umgebung findet man dort weniger. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und in gutem Zustand, wohingegen die Treppenhäuser und Flure etwas Reinigung vertragen könnten.
