The room was great with a full mini kitchen. This came in handy for our 2 1/2yr old grandson. It had enough beds to sleep 5 people. The hotel was no more than 4 blocks from inner harbor activities and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would rate this hotel at least 4.5 stars.

The hotel itself was very nice. Great location. The valet parking, which was the only choice was in my opinion a little pricey at $29.00 per night. Also, a guest in out party had their car damaged by the parking staff. Upon checking out there was some question as to whether I had paid for the parking service, I paid the attendant not knowing the hotel was going to bill me for it, but it was resolved. Overall a great place to stay.

In June went to Baltimore to spend some time at Inner Harbor. Because of the very enticing price of a room at the Residence Inn, we opted to make a reservation there. We were amazed at the accomodations. The suite was wonderful! It had a full kitchenette, and separate bedroom that was just fantastic for us. It was perfectly clean and quiet, and we loved it. In the morning when we went down for breakfast we were again amazed at the complimentary spread--a FULL breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, sweet rolls, and GREAT waffles. It was awesome! The walk to the Aquarium only took a few minutes and was very easy, and the hotel will let you keep your car in their deck until 5 pm on check out day which will save you a chunk of money. Overall, we were very, very pleased with out stay and will definitely do it again.

The rooms were very large and the staff was always extremely friendly. We have a large family (4 kids) and had plenty of room even in a studio. The breakfast was free and had everything from yogurt and granola to hot eggs, potatoes, and sausage. Our only concern was many rooms were filled with rowdy groups (8+) young 20's who came in each night around 2:30 drunk loud and cursing. Running up and down the hall and waking up my kids. The valet parking was a bit of a nightmare at check-out as many rude people leave there car there blocking the very small drive while they go next door for coffee and donuts. It took us a good 15 minutes to get out of the driveway. All of our issues were with rude guests not with the hotel. It was a great place just be prepared for the above.

Front desk personnel and car valet service were outstanding. We stayed in a corner, two room suite which had a very convenient mini kitchen. Our room was in the back of the hotel on the fifth floor. Even at that height, we still heard occasional street noise and late night revelers. Room was clean; furniture and bathroom were in good shape. Location of hotel is two blocks from the Inner Harbor and approx 6-8 blocks from Camden Yards. The only real negative was breakfast the next morning, which was a bit chaotic and not very well organized. The hotel needs to work on that.

Walk to Hippodrome and Inner Harbor. Walk to B&O Train Museum. Only problem was other guests, i.e. lady from OH who waited till valet brought up her car, then blocked driveway while she pulled out her map and asked valet for directions. And 2 carloads of guys from PA who left cars blocking drive while went back in hotel to get free coffee for ride, THEN after got in cars, driver started programming GPS. Valet finally had to ask them to move. Would definitely return to this hotel again and would recommend to friends.

The Residence Inn was a nice hotel, but it is somewhat impacted by its location and logistics. There is no hotel garage, and the valet parking is a "couple of blocks away", according to the valet. Consequently, getting your car in or out means a wait of 20-30 minutes. The Front Desk staff was always knee-deep in activity, seemingly at all hours; so even asking a question was an exercise in patience. It's unfortunate, because what would have been a fun experience ended up being only "OK".
