A clean/comfortable room, wifi and a hot shower is all I need and the Econo Lodge provided that. I needed a late checkout and the hotel was very accommodating. Thank you, I will stay here again.

This place is right on the boardwalk and is a bargain. The casino inside is great! Our room was the "standard" room with 2 queens, and it was really nice! When we go back I'm going here for the price... don't pay double the amount you would at a 4 star place! Try this 3.5 star place and save!

The beds were comfortable. Pillows were very small. Towels and washcloths were very small, dingy and rough to the skin. The price was reasonable and the manager was very helpful and considerate.
"Good value"
Typical roadside motel. Good, standardbasic motel. Free WI-FI place to sleep and wash before hitting the road. Front desk fellow Mohamid was friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Mohammed, the clerk/owner was very personable and accomodating. The place was sold out. The rooms were very clean for a motel; and overall I would say we could definetely stay there again. Oh, but if you like flufffy pillows - you better bring your own!

"ok for one night"
I didn't expect luxury for what I paid for a night. I got a room that didn't completely skeeve me out, so it was ok. The beds were really hard, but I like hard beds so I slept great. Little stuff like needing paint and some nails were evident. Cable was great. Nice granite counter/table tops. A VERY well lit room, which is a rare find in many motel […] rooms. Bathroom fixtures looked new. We didn't eat the free breakfast because at check-in, the breakfast area looked like they could offer some fruit and pre-packaged dansishes or something little like that. "Decent all Around"
In town for a short time and needed somewhere to sleep. This place did the trick. No frills, just a standard room at a cheap price. Man at the front desk was very nice.

The process from booking the room on line to waiting for the clerk to be faxed the reservation papers made getting into my room was way to long of a process. Somehow it needs to be streamlined. With the ability to make reservations from a smart phone, your booking process needs to accomidate the same tech ability.

I was overall satisfied with the hotel. The location was great and there are a lot of stores surrounding it. The room could use some upgrades but overall i have no complaints
"Best for your dollar"
Rooms are clean and close to major outlets in area. Heaters are the best in area, rooms stay nice and warm on cold nights. Beds are at a nice height not close to floor like others in area.

Upon booking the reservation the hotel claims there is no deposit for your pet. But once you get there they charge you $30.00 per day for your pet. Although the room was clean the tv in room was broken and the smoke dector was missing from the room also hotel grounds outside was very dirty. I would only recommend this hotel in as a last resort.

I needed a last minute place to stay and I was arriving pretty late.. When I called to confirm the room, the man who answered was so rude .. He told me hotels.com must have made a mistake because he had no rooms available and that i need to cancel my reservation..I said I would call him back to try and figure out what was going on and he said "no don't […] call me cancel through them" hotels.com straightened it out and explained that they have their own rooms.. When I arrived he was annoyed I got there late to check in (apparently he lives there and wanted to sleep) and didn't say more than 2 words to me.. Apparently there was also free breakfast he didnt tell us about..The room was ok..but the walls are so thin I heard the people down stairs talking at 8 am and barely got to sleep.. The hotel was good for the price we paid thru the Hotel.com. The staff followed me to my room and made sure I was able to operate the appliances and if any addtional service was needed. For the price and a few day stay it was great.

I stay in hotels around 250 days a year due to my career. This was the first stay for pleasure that I had in a while. I took my wife to Atlantic City for our anniversary. My stay at the empire inn was pleasantly and surprisingly good. Me and my boyfriend had a great weekend there of course it wasn't a 5 star hotel but it comfortable and affordable and the staff was very nice and quick to accommodate any problems. Overall we will be coming back to visit and stay at the Empire Inn again. :)

Pleasant Stay except housekeeping woke us up by attempting to open the door a hr/half before check out. The hotel doesnt give rooms anything to slip in the doors.

Good for people who like to be near casino but not caught up in all the action. Close to local dinning and low priced. I wanted a no smoking two bed room but they are limited but kings were available. I made do with what they offered.

This is the 4th time staying at this hotel and I'm BEYOND disappointed and will NEVER stay here again. Where do I begin? The bathroom had red stains all over the wall; the shower rod was falling out of the wall; whenever you took a shower there was water all over the floor. In the room itself, the refrigerator FROZE everything; the microwave looked […] like there were electrical burns inside; the bed (mattress, quilt & sheets) had stains all over it; the pillows were flat and I was lucky if I slept one full night. The kicker was the windows didn't lock! How's that for security? There were stains all over the walls (besides in the bathroom) and the rug was disgusting as it made the bottom of my white socks black... Literally black! Housekeeping actually knocked on the door to see if we wanted new towels in the bathroom... Aren't they supposed to put those in when they clean? Oh yeah, they didn't clean the room but one day! The towels for the bathroom were also full of stains and had hair from private regions which made me sick to my stomach! I actually wound up leaving early because I couldn't take the filth anymore. Also, the one time housekeeping actually cleaned the room, they took bottles of water that I had bought for the week. I don't think it was necessary to take what I paid for. Again, I will never be staying here again. My advice to those who're looking at this hotel is to look elsewhere and save your money. Read more

I was very surpised the week prior to Thanksgiving when I received an email from a website advertising inexpensive hotels. I took them up on the offer for Thanksgiving and the stay was tremendous. I was able to prepare something for Thanksgiving to eat, enjoyed football, drink beer, and sleep for the entire Thanksgiving Day.
