We had a great stay at this location. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The accommodations are spacious and clean. Maria and her staff were super helpful! Upon arriving we got a myriad of information about sorrento and what to do as well as yummy cake and lemonade and the staff even recommended and booked a haircut for me and my boyfriend ! The one and only downside of this hotel is that it is up the hill outside of town-- it's a doable 15 min walk to the center […] of sorrento (if you are young and able) but watch out for cars! We got a great villa with an amazing view of the coast and town of Sorrento. The rooms where cleaned everyday and the staff was very welcoming. The only minor discomfort was the room was on the colder side. We did turn the heat to the max level, but our villa was chilly at times. Wonderful does not begin to describe Villa Oriana Relais. The physical design of the building is filled with many nicely judged moments. The views of the Bay of Naples are breathtaking. The staff could not be more gracious, friendly and helpful. The breakfast, filled with fresh home baked cakes is a delight. Don't miss this one!

One of those rare occasions where it is clear that the inn-keeping is the labor of love and not a project built with just income in mind (although I imagine it must be doing fine: the villa was quite busy off-season). Breakfast is fit for a king - not just their own jams and superb cheeses; they bake cakes and quiches in the morning, which is something you do not see often. If you want baked beans on toast, please go elsewhere, because you would not be able to appreciate the exquisite selection and ingredients. Tablecloths starched just so, every spoon and every bottle in its own special delicate napkin and saucer - like a photo from an interior magazine. Opt for larger rooms if you can (we were upgraded to Junior Suite, but the children stayed in standard room which is fine in summer with open terrace doors but in bad weather rather small). I highly recommend this villa for a wonderful stay in sorrento! The staff at Oriana are excellent and couldnt do enough to help. They organised trips, restaurants, cooked cake, got our car fixed. They really made our holiday special and one to remember. On top of this, the views to sea are beautiful! Im looking forward to going back!

Our room was spacious and clean and full of amenities such as sky tv, hairdyer and free wifi. An added bonus was the Jacuzzi on the roof with the same panoramic view of the bay. The staff were extremely friendly, bringing us homemade lemonade in the Jacuzzi and leaving cake in our room. The Villa itself sits about a 30 minute walk from the town center, which was manageable for us or 20 euro for a taxi. Villa Oriana is possibly one of the loveliest hotels I have stayed in! When I opened the large gates and walked up the short drive I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. The orange and lemon trees were in blossom and the perfume was outrageous! Travelled with 82 yr old mum. The moment you arrive you have lovely walk through Citrus Terrace. Welcomed at the door. The responsiveness and care to detail remains consistent. The breafasts are presented with 'love' and 'care'. A 'gift 'to guests. We were given printed weather forcasts,and told about traditions with out having to ask. The room was crisp and spotless,spacious with our own veranda area. The view was spectacular. We could have benefitted from another draw ,but had good hanging space . plenty of hot water. The web site /advertising needs to clarify that the Sauna & Jaccuzzi are not open until May, we expected to use these. Maria opens her home to guests and the warmth and care continues up to the end of your visit. I booked a Taxi to take us to the Train Station. but Maria took us instead. Not only did she drive us,she accompanied us up to the Station office, she was even prepared to go to a shop on our behalf for Tickets should we have needed it. Such committment and preparedness to go 'out of her way for her guests. The hill is fairly steep but took 10 minutes. Walk to Town Center 15 minutes with stops. Road busy. Take a torch. Steep Hill worth it to be out of way where you can enjoy bird song and bask in the serenity of the Villa Oriana Relais. Read more

A recepção foi excelente (fomos recebidos na porta). Foram muito atenciosos e prestativos. A sensação é de ser uma visita na casa de amigos. O café da manhã é um primor. Os quartos são bem agradáveis. A internet não funcionou bem em um dos quartos, mas usamos perfeitamente na sala. Os donos do hotel se apresentam e são muito atenciosos.
