Overview

Location. In the style of a B&B, the Alps Boulder Canyon Inn is a log mansion nestled in Colorado's beautiful Rocky Mountains. While the property feels secluded, downtown Boulder is only 5 minutes away. Praised by romantics and vacationers who appreciate the intimacy of a privately owned and operated lodge, the Alps Boulder Canyon Inn is surrounded by rivers and forests in beautiful Boulder Canyon.
Hotel Features. The lobby is a comfortable scene where a stone fireplace and rustic décor lend an unmistakable mountain lodge feeling. Providing an experience that is far from being conventional, the hotel's interior features a double- landing staircase, antique furniture and recessed lighting. Complimentary beverages, gourmet afternoon tea, evening desserts and full breakfasts are all included. Hotel amenities include complimentary high-speed and wireless Internet access, an outdoor garden terrace and a business center.

Guestrooms. While some of the Alps Boulder Canyon Inn accommodations boast mountainside patios and gardens, others have private balconies. Teeming with charm and unique personality, the guestrooms showcase custom fireplaces, reproduction period furniture and lovely antique fixtures. Guestroom amenities include high-speed Ethernet, two- person spa tubs, designer toiletries and nightly turndown service with chocolates.

Expert Tip. Recognized as being the oldest lodging property in the state, the Alps Boulder Canyon Inn has both historical significance and a favorable reputation. Built around 1870, this mountain lodge has been featured on numerous movies, commercials and national television programs, including two editions of Entertainment tonight and four episodes of the Geraldo Rivera Show. Of particular interest to history buffs, records show that Teddy Roosevelt signed the original liquor license for the property.
