So pleased with the staff that worked here especially Bernadette and Marcel, they were wonderful and so helpful for our entire trip. I stayed here for 9 nights and got to know the staff, we had our dog on the trip and they were friendly and warm to him as well as my 12 year old daughter. It is incredibly clean and the rooms are much better than I imagined they would be considering the rate. I will be moving to the area of this Hyatt and will definitely have friends and family stay here when they come to visit. They do have a gallery menu that is available 24/7 and that was decent considering the price of what was listed. The only downside I would say is that they have a limited staff working sometimes and when you do order off the gallery menu you have to go pick it up at the front desk, but considering it is available 24/7 it wasnt all that much of an inconvenience. There is a great Mexican restaurant that shares the parking lot called Jalapenos as well as several other food and gas stations in the area, including a WAWA right next door. There were not many channels on the TV which was not a huge problem for us as we were mostly out sightseeing. I highly recommend this Hyatt. To my family and I, it became our home away from home and we didnt want to leave!

The room was not bad for the price. However, we were rather chilly because only one heater work(located near the ceiling). the tv remote was broken. Otherwise it was a nice stay for us.

Travelling through, convenient off 95, but thought I heard gunshot, beds not comfortable, and pool locked up. A lot of undesireable people there. Not the worst, but not worth the 100$ per night. Breakfast ok.

I have stayed in this hotel beforew and it provided good vcalue for family travel. This time the hotel looked run down. The hallways and rooms smelled like they had allowed a smokers convention to fill the property and they had sprayed everything with a heavy deoderant to try to make it a no-smoking facility again. Petersburg is a military city. So there really isn't much to do in the city or much to the city. However, while on the outskirts of the city, Comfort Inn wasn't too far from the mall. Overall, it was a pretty decent hotel. The neighborhood was questinoable, but I would stay again.

The room was nice enough except when we went to get a shower. I tried to turn the water on and the whole faucet fell off the wall. There is no way that they did not know about this. For the shower/bath tub to have been cleaned they would have needed to use the water there was only one faucet combination for the tub and shower.
