My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Pequot Hotel. Not only were we upgraded to the King Suite, but the hotel staff was so friendly and accomodating. They provided nice beach chairs and towels for us to get in some time on the beach. There were washrooms for us to shower and get ready even after our checkout time. It was a very central location […] to bike paths, beach, and "downtown" Oak Bluffs. I would highly recommend it! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room was nicely furnished and neatly kept. Two things needed to be improved. One,the lighting in the room was very dim. Second, would have preferred HiFi Internet connection INSIDE our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our stay was fantastic. I would stay there again. When I made the reservation I had no idea where the hotel was located. It was just smack dab in the middle of all the action. To the right down the street was the main drag of town, to the left down the street was the ocean. The place just made you feel warm and COZY! I recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Wonderful experience that can never be replace!"
My wife and I enjoyed the accommodations and would really recommend a Refrigerator next time in our rooms to keep drinks cool, especially for health reasons. I can never replace the experience of the Staff and residence in the facility. All were friendly and hospitable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel rooms were recently modernized and very clean. Unfortunately our room was quite small with an extremely loud air conditioner and marginally comfortable bed. No phones in room. We won't be booking any return trips here. Consider looking elsewhere!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"wonderful folks, sterling continental breakfast"

"great stay in Martha’s Vineyard"
The facilities were clean and well kept. I was delighted to be offered a room upgrade upon my arrival. Morning breakfast was a plus. Chocolate chip cookies were available in the aftenoon with ice tea as well. I would recommend other travelers to the area to stay at this hotel. Its location to the center of town was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the rooms were very small but the service was wonderful. they will give u chairs, towels and umbrellas for the beach. will even give towels and showers even after you check out. it had a very homey atmosphere and the other guests are very friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very accommodating. Allowed for early check in. Only allowed for luggage to be left in the lobby, which made me a little nervous. Otherwise, great experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Pequot - Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard"
Oak Bluffs is a fantastic area -- in and of itself - as well as its quick bus trips to Vineyard Haven or Edgartown. This gorgeous b& b provides a fantastic location, wonderful service, and the quintesential atmosphere expected on Martha's Vineyard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When I travel it is all about a clean hotel and location, location, location. This hotel was old but clean, comfy beds, and the front desk very helpful with menus for local restaurants. It was a few blocks from the ferry, 2 blocks from ocean and 2 blocks from the main street in Oak Bluffs, The hotel was surrounded with many colorful, charming houses […] in a quaint neighborhood. The front porch is a great place to meet other guest, or read a book in on of the many rocking chairs. We'll be going back next year. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great time at the Pequot Hotel"
I went with my family for a 1 night stay at the Pequot and were pleasantly surprised. The staff are extremely cordial and the morning breakfast was over the top. My hat off to the Chef. (The Quiche's were amazing!) I'd highly recommend the hotel if you are not the 5* all inclusive type of person.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean comfortable hotel with relaxing surroundings. Very clean with an amazing selection of food for breakfast. Lisa and her team are both friendly & helpful. If you are looking for a homely place to stay this is for you. EnjoyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved loved Martha's Vineyard! Rooms at the Pequot Hotel weren't what we were used to (not as modern as what you would get in the cities), but you have to take into consideration where you are. The main thing is it was clean. Breakfast was nice and staff helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Brilliant friendly helpful staff beautiful setting enjoyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Pequot Hotel - et svært sjarmerende hotell"

We ended up staying here by someones recommendation in a Rhode Island B&B and am so glad he took the time to tell us about it and set it up for us! Thanks Toni! We were treated to a beautiful place, wonderful party on Friday evening, and a fabulous breakfast! so quaint... I would go back in a heartbeat! The manager as super sweet and had wine and chocolates on our bed when we got there to celebrate our anniversary. We are telling everyone we know about what a wonderful time we had there. We will be back!

We have stayed with the wonderful, always friendly staff at the Pequot Hotel in the past and this stay was no different. The staff will go out of their way to help you with travel plans and dinner reservations. Everything you need is there just waiting for you. Beach towels, beach chairs, blow dryers and fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies. The breakfast foods are always good and plentiful. We will return again to visit our Martha's Vineyard friends. Thank you all for making our stay so pleasant.

We stayed at the Pequot in June and had a great experience. The location is hard to beat, 20 yards from the beach and main street of town. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and was very helpful providing recommendations for food and directions on how to get to various attractions. As everyone else mentioned, the cookies and lemonade are a nice touch to come back to after the beach. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back.

The Pequot Hotel is a beautiful and unique hotel within a 5 minute walk of the center of Oak Bluffs and 1 minute walk to the town beach. From the check in, to the breakfast to the cleanliness of the room, the service was outstanding. The hotel provided beach chairs, umbrellas and towels upon request. They had a great breakfast with such a great variety that no one could be unhappy with the selections. There was hot coffee and hot water for tea and cocoa as well as cold lemonade and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies pretty much any time we were in the main building. The only reason I was not able to give this hotel a 5 rating was the actual hotel room. We were in the middle building and it was really small and dark. The air conditioning was very loud and did not work effectively and the room smelled kind of musty. The mattress was a little soft but was OK for a few nights. The sheets and towels were clean and new and the bathroom was not fancy but looked like it had recently had a modest face lift. Considering the good and the bad, I would definitely stay here again but would speak with the front desk when making the reservation to see if there might be a better room available.
"Loved everything about it!"

I spent 2 nights at the Pequot Hotel and am happy to say it exceeded my expectations. Having arrived from the ferry well before check-in time, the staff was very accommodating in offering a place to store my baggage and a place to freshen up before I set off on my bike. I found my room in the middle building to be quiet (I stayed on a Sunday and Monday) and more than adequate. I also appreciated the flexibility to enjoy breakfast either in their breakfast room or - better yet for a bit more peace and quiet - on the porch, in the courtyard, or in my room. Beach is within walking distance and the bus stop a couple of blocks up the road. It is clear why this is such a popular spot.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Martha's Vineyard, continental breakfast every morning, clean rooms, friendly staff, walking distance to beaches, cookies in the entry way when you arrive, its the little details that make this place a home, I would come here again.
"Incredible stay, Awesome location, Great service - Simply Fantastic"

Booked using previous reviews and completely satisfied. I would stay again and recommend family and friends. The picturesque front porch and courtyard is so welcoming. There are many rocking chairs to enjoy quiet reading, company, a drink... whatever. The hotel is set in a pretty and safe neighborhood. There isn't any noise for porch sitting, the courtyard card is perfect with tables and chairs great for us to play cards. The abundance of well kept flowers and gardens are simply beautiful. There is a private fenced-in garden in back with more sitting areas. Upon arrival we were greeted by wonderful staff. There were fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, lemonade & ice tea every afternoon --- so yummy and makes you feel "at-home". Those are put out everyday! The beach is just one block to the left from the front door and the restaurants and shops on Circuit Ave. are a nice easy walk (maybe 3 or 4 blocks). Our room was in the main house and we were very happy with it. It was spacious for the old hotel with a queen bed, 2 wicker chairs, and TV. We had a small attached bathroom with stand-up shower. It was just what we needed for privacy and worked for us. The room was very clean and bathroom well kept. We will stay here again should our travels take us back!
